    Italian sub

This deli restaurant is located inside the Marathon Motorworks building. It is stop number one on the trolley tour. You get large portions for a reasonable price. Everything is made to order so if it is crowded, it takes a few minutes. Is well worth the wait. The Italian sub is delicious.

I was not expecting to enjoy a sandwich as much as I did this one!! My husband and I both ordered Turkey Rachel's on Sourdough instead of Rye and they were incredible!!! It's located in a very cool building and the vibe is relaxed. Friendly service, and good food... what else can you ask for?!

We seem to make our way to this deli every time we visit Nashville. Went with the SEC this time. It'll feed two humans or half a Vol linebacker. And it's delish! Family owned and operated. These are hard working folks who churn out consistently great food every day. Go local. Pay cash. Leave a tip.

I don't usually write reviews but this deli was AMAZING. The staff was so sweet!! My friend has a dairy allergy and they made every accommodation for her! The food was DELICIOUS and fresh! Would definitely recommend!!

Enjoyed this spot in the midst of all the shops in this area. Was a nice treat to get sandwiches and snacks that were good. Staff was nice and snappy on orders and getting the food out. Solid 3.75/5.

Made a stop here when we went to Marathon Village to visit Corsair. Figured it a good idea to put some food in before the drinking! Well this turned out to be an excellent stop. Staff was super friendly. I had a french dip that was su full it was hard to dip without losing pieces. Very tasty too. My wife had their signature. Club, and could only eat half of it. Looked like they were using Boars Head meats, that explains some of the quality. No fountain drinks here, just a selection of glass bottle "old timey" sodas. Not the cheapest meal, I think around $30 for two sandwiches and two drinks, but very good.

Hidden secret inside the old Maraton motor works building. Probably the best sandwich I've ever gotten at a deli.

Need less to say we continued inside. I'm no sure if this is handicap assessible as we walkeeld up a lil incline to steps. When entering we were looked at in a way that was not warming. However, a voice came from the bar area with directions. We chose to to the flight. The choices were selected with a little help from the bar. They came out pretty quickly. The tasting started and it out of 5, only one did not have a nasty and strong hoppy/bitter after taste. The select were Passion fruit, Hippies and Cowboy, Southern Wit, Urban Hiker, and Wildwood. As we spent our time no one seem to as if we needed anything or if our selection were ok. We got some "why are you in here type" looks. I was not impressed by this brewery. The customer service and my sensing of being not welcome was high. Note we were the only patrons. I would not return.

The dog bowl looked a little more rugged than I recalled and I sat about looking for the picture of my friend (and possibly me) that was on the wall. It wasn't visible, but I also wasn't spending a lot of time looking as it was my wife's birthday and we've both been talking about getting our birthday bowl of beer at the villager for over a decade and then never managing to do it. It's ever so slightly different without the thick layer of smoke that reminds you that you're dying just by breathing there, but still a gem that's nestled in a spot you'd never expect... bougie store, bougie store, art house movie theater, bougie store, the Villager... one of these things is not like the other, and it's great. My crew has long since passed from the place, it's a bunch of pictures of people who were my age up now when I served my time at the joint. It's been one of my favorite places to know it exists, even if I haven't been there in forever.
