So i went to get my nipples pierced today ( 12/17/2021 ) with my big sister & piercing was good they charged me 70bucks and jewelry came with it so included in the price and the shop is clean and piercer that pierced me came out with all new piercing stuff in plastic which is very good and the piercer is name Pablo & he made me feel so comfortable and he was so nice and sweet to me but after i got my nipples pierced one of the piercing placement i didn't like so i contacted the shop and they were so helpful and the piercer Pablo looked at my piercing that i wanted corrected and i had to take it out and get it Re-pierced again so i had to wait for the piercing to close and i went back and got it re-pierced on ( 12/27/2021 ) so i got both of my boobies pierced & I'm so happy with them & again the piercer Pablo was so patient with me and nice and gentle when it came to piercing me the second time around & he is very cute but overall i would definitely go back to get another piercing from him or a tattoo read more

This review goes 15 year of experience of pure art work and all I've experience not in 1 visit or 2 but 15 years of going and every visit has been the best extradionary the most sterilized cleanest shop I ever been too when u go and see all their credentials certifications by code by the state and government things u bypass in other shops. No shop gives u what they give every visit it's about u and what u want they dedicate the time and effort to u and ur art and/or piercing they both treat u with the very same respect they give all no matter gender, sexuality, race, or preference they don't see that they are the most extradionary people. I live it, I seen it, I witnessed it what many customers do as well. Was so disappointed with customer service before my tattooing even started. I found southside tattoo shop because I grew up in the neighborhood and like to support local businesses. My first encounter I didnt seem to pay to much attention to it since I was fine on being a walk in and having to wait. Im not the type to ask for discounts or toy with what I know is worth a price so THERE WAS NO REASON FOR ATTITUDE or disgusted looks as I was spoken to. I got my tattoo paid my money and considered them once again, now doing it the "right way" by trying to book an appointment since the first time seemed like an inconvenience to the shop. And Yes I recieved the same treatment and bad attitude from Norma all over again brushed off and expected to go back and forth between shop and artist and when pointed out and asked why the difficulty and lack of customer service she said that I am not anybody "Special that gets special treatment" yikes sounds weird even writing it. I was told to go leave a $20 dollar deposit when I had already visited the shop. While at the shop I wasn't helped no deposit was taken nor a call made or a possible date set. I stood on the counter in silence as my business was made less of as if I just didnt inquire about getting another tattoo. If you guys can make it better and fix this issue please do for the next person im speaking up and im sure many others dont but point blank a business big or small, owner or artist, black or brown, young woman or young man as a paying customer deserves respect no money is spent in vain so no one should take mistreatment or belittlement just because you say so the Gettho or Beverly Hills we got more dignity than that get it together or lose it forever. read more

You would never know there are tattoos under my new tattos it has been 2 years since those tattoos and they are still as fresh as the day I got them. Jose is the business!!! I was referred here by a friend who had gotten work done by Jose. Her's was very pretty and looked well done so I decided to check it out for myself. I went to his shop (which is in the slauson swapmeet) but don't let the location deter you, it is definitely worth the drive! First I called to ask if what I wanted was something he would be willing to do. I had an existing tattoo I wanted more work done to and had asked other artist who were not wiling to work on existing tattoos. After the phone conversation I made an appointment to meet with Jose. I was greeted by the receptionist (I don't remember her name) and was asked to wait until Jose returned from lunch and invited to look at books and pictures of his work. From the pictures I was impressed as a lot of his work is done free hand. Fast forward appointment set, and had to be rescheduled due to my work schedule, Jose was very cool about working with my schedule. Once in the chair, Jose explained everything that he was going to do and made sure I was comfortable with his design. Tattooing HURTS and this was no exception, but I was very comfortable and he gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. He mixed his artistic skills with already existing tattoo and some printed pictures. About 4 years ago I found Jose. I went around to different shops and talked to many tattoo artist before going to him. My sister recommended me to Joe and decided to meet him. When I began talking to him I sense he understood exactly what I wanted. He has a good vibe. He's very friendly and a good conversationalist. His prices are also reasonable. Make an appointment and make a small deposit then come on your appointment day...the wait will be worthwhile. When you sit there he plays some jams and makes you feel relaxed while talking. I love the pieces he's tattooed on me. he's also done a cover up.
