Hello, as a recent victim of someone getting their car towed, I had a pretty unique experience to say the least when approaching the window to get my car back at your location today. From the very start at around 11:35, as soon as I approached. I'm confused. There's only a window with no lobby. Everything is closed for the most part, but I see trucks coming in and out of the lot close to the window. I waited for 5-7 minutes before being greeted by one of your agents. From the get go, she was rude. I've never gotten my car towed from your company before. Never had an experience where I had to make an appointment before calling in. Never before where your hours are predicated to business hours so you can charge more on the weekends which is very interesting on how you guys want to operate your business. All this confusion was just me trying to understand the price tag that your agent (Evelin) was having a very hard time explaining to me as I was trying to understand why my tow was as expensive as it was. Evelin to say the least was extremely rude. As a person who has to work in customer service myself, she made me seem like I was the one who was giving her problems when all I'm trying to do is understand why I'm getting charged the price tag that is in front of me. She was extremely disrespectful. Raising her voice at me and claiming that I was the one "making things difficult" when she could barely answer questions without being disrespectful. I doubt her name is even Evelin at this point, but I assume you know who was working on Sunday 5/5/2024 in the morning/noon hours. One thing your customer service agents need to understand is that getting charged $393 is not easy on anyone, and I'm sure anyone who is getting charged this amount of money is going to have questions. Terrible customer service from your location. And definitely unreasonable business practices if you honestly ask me. The cherry on top is when I asked for her name, she was like "make sure you spell it with an 'I'." LIke you really wanted to drive your point home, didn't you. I'm a kid I shouldn't be dealing with this shit. I live in apartments so unlike a house we don't have have driveway to station the car and unload the groceries. We do however have designated parking spots that are on the opposite side of our building, so we just like everyone in this complex park in the fire lane (the sidewalk in front of the building) until we finish unloading the groceries. My uncle had just got here and got my 3 month old baby cousin out of the car and went back for some bags in the passenger seat he brought the bags in and then we hear heavy machinery. My brother and my other cousin are playing outside and scream "they're taking the car" to which my uncle runs out screaming to get him to stop and the driver sees him but Sean (the peace of shit rude driver) drives out really fast. This all happened so fast literally in seconds which is why he probably loaded his car in such a shitty way that probably fucked up the car. My uncles phone was still in the car and the passenger door wasn't even full closed. Well my uncle chases after the tow truck and I follow along because I figured he'd need a translator since he doesn't speak English. Thank god I went. Sean at the parking lot of some market near the apartments to correctly load the car since he did it in such a half ass manner. My uncle is calm and he asks why he took off so fast that he could've damaged his car and Sean says shit under the lines "I don't speak fucking Spanish I don't know what you're saying" so I tell him and explain to him our situation and how there aren't yellow lines to unload and other stuff to which he replies with "it's my job, I don't care, you're on red line" Fine whatever we'll pay the unloading fee so I ask him how much and he says "$271" what the fuck? 271 dollars is a lot of fucking money you know we've had other car been loaded and we've payed $40 and Sean loaded my uncles car in such a careless fucking manner. Some lady comes also speaking in Spanish asking "why it's much? why are you doing this to that poor guy" Sean then started getting rude kinda sizing up the poor lady and this lady offers to pay the fee and hands him $300 and he again rudely says "I need exact change" Like why the fuck is he still being an asshole we're going to give him the money he can tone it down and be more polite. So the lady goes through her bag looking for the exact amount and then gives it to him. He says "this is what you people get for wasting my time, I get to be an asshole I know how you people are I grew up in the ghetto" what the fuck is that supposed to mean? You people? I tell him "What the fuck? Are you calling us ghetto? Don't ever say that again." And he says "I can say whatever the fuck I want" at that point there's about 15 people watching. And as the lady was walking away this asshole has the audacity to say "Happy Mothers Day" So whatever Sean got the $271, the cars Vin, the license and registration. After that people who who him tow the car were saying that he loaded it wrong and that car made a loud thud but there isn't any noticeable damage that we can see. This review is written directly to the front office worker that verbally accosted and assaulted me this afternoon, 5/21. To anyone who's ever had their car towed, it's obviously not a fun experience. To arrive to a towing service to be met with verbal abuse and constant cursing is unbelievable. The woman (did not catch her name) used explicit language when she did not agree with a signature I put on the release form. Instead of just allowing me to leave I was met with hostility and a refusal of opening the front gate. I went to retrieve my vehicle during my lunch break, and the process was fairly quick. The front desk guy almost made this rating a 5 until I was advised to walk through the gates to retrieve my registration out of my glove department. I entered the gate and quickly noticed a small gathering of co-workers chatting. I bypassed them without them offering any assistance or greeting which was fine; because I spotted my vehicle nearby. As soon as I reached the passenger side door, one guy yells " hey registration only". I then replied, " are you telling me or asking me" his rude response " Im doing both"! From there things began to go south. I let him know that the front desk had already informed me to take registration paperwork, and nothing else until the purchase was finalized. Due to his rude demeanor and behavior, he and the crowd is now watching me like I was a criminal thief. I was watched until I bypass them again. It was a very uncomfortable situation that warranted a minus rating star. How did the 4 star get to 1 star? It quickly happened after the purchase. I noticed the multiple signs for rates, and then inquired about why I was charges the highest rate, when I was towed from my apartment complex in which I reside. He became agitated, with my inquiry and even more annoyed that I was taking pictures of the signs. He told me if I had a problem with their charges call CHP. ( whatever that means). I had to provide DL, Registration, CC, sign release forms, and sign receipt. Most was done simultaneously; yet became problematic when the metal drawer the front desk guy operated; kept slamming into my BREAST. I tried twice to block it from hit me again because it was very painful. The front desk guy yelled at me, and told me stop touching the drawer, because he controls it not me. I yelled back and told him, that I told you before that it keeps hitting me my breast, so I pushed it back off of me, and unfortunately it smashed his finger. Although he was being disrespectful and inflicted pain, I even tried apologizing about his finger something;he refused to do, and he continue talking S... from his box. I went to my husband and told him about what just occurred. He asked to see if I was bruised. I looked down my shirt and yes there was evidence of bruising. He wanted to confront him, and I beg him not to. I just wanted to get my car and return to work. He complied and tried to drive in to take me to my car, so that I did not have to walk past the coworkers again. He was stopped at the gate, and told he could not enter, no cars allowed and that I will have to get out of his truck and walk to my car. My husband told him, that while he has been waiting on a place to park, he saw cars driving in and out and they were not stopped. The worker still refused to allow us passage, he even walked up to the window to confirm we had permission to get my vehicle. (Comical) My husband decided to get my car for me, and I was left in his vehicle near the gate. A car needed to enter, and his truck was in the way. I had to pull into their gate to allow the car entrance. My husband truck is huge, and I am 5'1, and had a hard time trying to back out to leave the NO NEVER ZONE ....OMG these people went nuts, yelling I had to move my truck and get out. They were making a spectacle of themselves calling others for assistance, one took out his cell and snapped a picture of my husband plates. I returned to work, sore and highly agitated. I told my coworkers what happened and showed my bruises on the chest area. I hope to never deal with this business establishment again. read more
