This is the worst towing service in all of Orange County. Before I begin I'll start off with saying when my car was in the process of getting towed I caught the tow guy outside of my house and he said I can have it back if I pay a drop fee of $112. I said "Ok, do you except VISA?" He said yes, so I ran inside my house to grab my credit card. I kid you not I wasn't even gone 2 minutes since we were right outside of my house. I come back and while I'm walking to him the tow guy SPEEDS OFF with my car on the back with the alarm going off. I ended up getting my car the next day and having to pay the tow fee of $285! When I called in, the girl at the front desk said in a very rude, short, aggressive tone there's nothing we can do since I can't prove it and her unprofessional passive aggressive tow guy said he waited 10 minutes. That is COMPLETELY FLASE When I was gone for 2 minutes at the most when like I said we were literally right outside my house. The unprofessional girlwith green eyes in the Nike SB hoodie was EXTREMELY RUDE and didn't have a single care about anything and didn't even try to help me or care to because she was TRASH AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I asked her if she even saw the issue of what happened and she said "No I don't, drivers don't have to wait at all, you're wasting my time bye." Then hung up in my face. This review is specifically for our driver, Robert I believe. 3 Am we had a terrible crash in the rain off the freeway. He came and saved us, towed us away. The best person that could have came in the middle of the night, he distracted us and made us feel so much better(the guy has got stories!!). This review is for Rose, who definitely earned 5 stars. I think their prices for getting cars out of impound a bit steep, so that's -1 star for sure. It sucks getting your car impounded, no one wants to go through that. It was a sad day to pay $240 for a towe and a 9 hour stay in their lot, because of strict condo parking lot rules and tiny print. But Rose was the good part of a not great experience. She was kind, professional, patient and somehow keeps a respectful attitude when people take out their frustrations on her. She's just doing her job and she does it well. Cheers to you Rose for keeping your cool in what must be a hard job. If your car gets towed, be nice to Rose, she's good people. Last Thursday I had some of the most professional and courteous service in my 20 year membership with AAA. This is die in large part to the experience I had with my driver Mike E. Since you can't clone him send new drivers out with him and have him show them how take the rather unpleasant experience of a long wait for service (my bad, flatbed, lowered car) and make it sick a whole lot less. Had my car tow due to a flat tire while park in my apartment complex. Not sure why the management didn't contact me or give me a far warning. Well had to get my car out quickly before any other fees start piled up. Went in, payed the fee and brought my car out but still had that flat that needed fixing. Harry Silao this guy is the best, service was awesome picked my uncles truck after he got in an accident from Hadley tow, the assholes from hadley tow charged me $305 to take it out and even though it sat there for less than 24hrs and denied me from taking my uncles truck with AAA even though they are affiliated with AAA nothing but fucking rookies that dont want to get there hands dirty. If I could give this a negative, I would. I called to confirm if my car was there and where they were located. The girl spoke like I was bothering her and hung up before I could even ask how much it would be and what I needed to bring to get it out. So I had to call her back and ask and all she said was to bring my drivers license. I got a ride all the way there and when she finally acknowledged my presence by just a dirty look. My registration has just expired so when she told me that she needs my current registration, I told her I didn't have it with me. Then she snapped back telling me that she has told me that on the phone. That was a lie and The way she said it was like a cocky little hoodlum brat that hates her life. I had to Uber all over that dirty town to go get it a current registration printed up and then Uber back for her to ignore me again for the first 10 minutes I walk through the door. When I finally got my car back that day, it was damaged with scratches and a dent by my tire well. I went and read all of the terrible reviews and completely had the same experience, the damage car and the rude little brat behind the bullet proof window. You people are disgusting! read more

I apologize this took so long, but my life has been extremely difficult for the past two weeks without a working power wheelchair. On July 7th I needed help because my power chair broke down and I was stuck without any hope of going anywhere, let alone get home. Somehow the City of Orange police dispatcher was able to get ahold of this tow company for me, and the next thing I know two trucks show up... a regular tow truck (to carry me), and a flatbed (to carry my power chair)! I was stuck in old town Orange for hours freaking out about what to do to get me and my wheelchair home, so this was a godsend. The drivers, Andrew and Michael, were very personable and helpful, and were very reassuring in this whole ordeal. They lifted me up on the truck and then got my power chair up on the flatbed. It took almost no time to get to my studio, and there were no problems getting me and my chair into my studio. They both even stuck around and asked me if there was anything I needed and if I needed any help getting situated. These are really great guys, and I am so very thankful and grateful for everything. Give credit where it's due... This company does a job that would rarely warrant 5 stars from someone who woke up and found his car missing. I gave them a call since they are the tow company listed on my apartment parking signs. Apparently, due to some miscommunication from the apartments and tenants, my car was towed by mistake. After sorting it out with management and making calls, everything was settled to my satisfaction and got my car back in perfect condition. They weren't fussy or have an attitude, and neither did I, which made this a much better experience than I would have hoped. read more

I had already had waited for two hours as AAA attempted to send a different AAA driver out and somehow that guy never showed up, so the re-dispatched a new driver and Jeremy was there in less than 30 min. Tony was very professional , polite and solve our problem in a timely matter.The property management at Coronado Palm Villas in Anaheim once are total fuck ups. They double assigned our resident parking space not once but 3 times now. And Tony explained the situation clearly and even though on a holiday weekend like today's memorial day weekend he went out of his way to get our car out with no fee. My car got towed by Southside and the issue at hand is not about towing reasons or crazy fees totaling $370 when the car was at the tow yard for only a few minutes. It is an issue of integrity (or rather lack thereof) displayed by Rubin, who was in the supervisor position at the time of towing, which in my view clearly reflects the culture of the company as a whole. I spoke to Rubin on the phone before the car ever made it to their yard to confirm that's where my car is being towed to. I advised him that I would be going to pick up the car that same evening. At no point in time did he care to let me know that if I pick up the car that evening (I arrived there at 7:11 PM), it would be considered after hours and there is an additional $100 gate fee. It would be a simple yet professional gesture that doesn't take any effort, yet speaks volume of great Customer Service and integrity. Instead after I already got a ride to Southside from HB and was ready to pay the charges at their window, I was advised by the lady helping me that it would be cheaper for me to pick up the car in the morning. So I dialed Rubin again and called him out on that, requesting a courtesy consideration to not charge this fee. After all, he knew I was coming after hours and he's well aware of all the fees the company charges, so giving me a simple courtesy heads up to consider my options ahead of time would not take much effort on his part. Despite the fact, he refused saying Southside does not offer "courtesy" adjustments, because if they did they would be "losing money". So there you have it folks, if Southside Towing has to choose between integrity and a $100 bill, you know which one they will pick. read more

I had my car towed from my community because I was parked illegally according to the association. The NO Parking signs were not located at the entrance of the community as required by the California Vehicle Code. Technically Dave from Southside towing did not need to refund me as it is the responsibility of the Association to refund me but he did anyways. Great guy.
