Friendly baker! Delicious vegan baked goods! Food wasn't ready when I got there, but I happily waited until some baked goods were done. Took about 20 minutes. Definitely worth the wait.

The birthday cake I got for my sister! It was beautiful.

The pan dulces and cakes here are top tier. I came here for my sisters birthday cake and honestly I'm so glad I did. My sister is vegan but I am not but honestly this is the best cake I've ever had. I even got my favorite pan dulce and from regular bakeries they're a little dry but I love it for the flavor, but here, it's so delicious and moist. I am not vegan but I will only get cakes from here now. I will only get my pan dulces here now. Not to mention the service, he was so nice and accommodating. He walked me through everything because I have literally never put an order in for a cake so it was very sweet he took his time and best of all, it was a really fair price. And super yummy. The store itself felt like home. It was a nice vibe I got. I liked the decorations and how everything is homemade and fresh ! 10/10 experience 10/10 everything!!

Hours say 9am-6pm. Showed up, looked vacated, empty, and no mention of why, what, or when they'll be open again. So sad We previously supported them in Santa Ana, but I guess this one didn't work out.

    Delicious!!!

Amazing customer service!! Amazing pan dulce!! Recommend their new item, small soft cake with sugar coating that gives it a perfect little crunch

Not all pan shown, we ate it too fast

It's been years since I've been to Soy Concha, but my husband and I finally came to $1 Tuesday & met the new owner, Ross! He was great, very friendly and passionate about his business. We got some pan + a gansito + a cono. 10/10. Before I was vegan I didn't care for the puerquitos, but Ross recommended them and wow, they're my new favorite! The elote & cuerno were delicious. I'm so excited to be near this bakery again, I'll definitely be ordering a rosca!

Finally got the chance to drive out to the Whittier location! I was familiar with the Santa Ana location and was soooo sad when it closed. Luckily it turns out they just moved to Whittier. We have a dairy allergy in the family and having a vegan option for pan dulce is a life saver. My mom isn't dairy free but she even loved the bread and said it was just an amazing spot overall! Not only was the bread amazing but the owner was super sweet. They do a coffee collab on Tuesdays so you know I will definitely be coming back to check that out!

I've been to their Santa Ana location (now closed) and this was my first time in their new location in East Los. They have quite a bit of choices, but every time I go and each time it's at different parts of the day , they never have fresh and plain bollio. Every time I've called, or spoke to them in person if I can order ahead of time and to pick up a different day, they say they only make in certain times a Day and to come back a certain time. When I ask on Instagram, they read my messages, but I get ignored. When I walk into the store, the people who I've seen work there don't say anything after I've greeted them. When I ask about a what's in certain pastry, they rudely answer me. The chicken, jalapeños, and cream cheese bollio is good though. Their pastries never taste fresh, but they remain soft after a couple of days.

The building is an original piece of the City's history, boasting a menu that features their famous burritos that vary in size from a regular to a huge party size beast that can feed several. I tried the Hollenbeck and the Okie burritos on two separate occasions via pick up, as aforementioned, the service was quick, convenient and the pick up window is seamless, parking is located next to the structure and I haven't had problems getting there. Hollenbeck was good but I definitely enjoyed the Okie burrito more, I ordered the "original" size once and didn't seem to learn my lesson the second time, these burritos can feed two in Original size. They offer a "Mini" version which would be satisfactory for one person. My favorite thing about these burritos is how "home-made" they are, the salsas and meats are fresh and taste like they came out of an abuelitas kitchen. I still need to try the crunchy tacos and nachos which look great, I recommend trying this classic establishment at least once if you're in the area.

My dad ordered the Ceviche Nayarit, I ordered the Enchiladas La Casita Mexicana and my wife ordered the Enchiladas Tres Moles. The ceviche tasted fresh, but not really my favorite dish were had. I would say the Enchiladas Tres Moles was my favorite dish we picked. My only problem with that dish was that I wanted more. The plate they served it on made the 3 Enchiladas look small. Customer service was great. Food was great. The interior/exterior was really nice. If you have dogs the patio section in the back is where you'll want to eat from. Great experience. I'd come here again.

I heard about the owners, former chefs or…read moresomething, not 100% sure BUT something along those lines, they were making OG mole so I had been wanting to go there. I forgot exactly what I had, I want to say it was bistec ranchero or something like that. it was good, nothing bad, but also felt average. They served us chips with mole on top and I was like, why did they pour mole all over, bring a little bucket of mole and let me dip it on the side. That's what a good Christian would do, but no, they went with an anti-Christian practice here, communist almost. don't assume I want everything with mole. I would have been ok with it if the mole had been bomb ass good, but it was ok. I had heard this place used original Oaxacan mole or something so I was hyped. My wife had some eggs with whatever the heck a Filipino woman orders at a Mexican place and she's was fine. I feel bad about this review, maybe this place is a victim of its former reputation, and I was expecting very good Mexican food and all I got was OK Mexican food. Also, for a true Mexican spot, you need to have café Mexicano, with canelita and the waiter told me they didn't have any. How can this be? I do not approve. Maybe if you are white or non-Mexican or a fake Mexican, I think you would have a different opinion of this place, you might think is great, just like El Torito is. Am I confusing this place with some other restaurant because the place I heard of was in Bell and the cooks/chefs were this renowned chefs and I don't think that's the case here or now. For sure, this place is not bad and I don't think you will get bad food, it was just underwhelming.

There was a mistake with some charges on my tab but the manager or supervisor on duty came over and notified me before I even notice and she immediately corrected the error. However, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. The service we received from Oscar was poor from start to finish. It genuinely felt like he either did not want to be at work that day or simply did not want to serve a table of two. What made it more frustrating is that a larger party came in later and he seemed more happy to help the and took his time. The restaurant was not busy. When we arrived, Oscar only had one table, and throughout our visit it appeared he had no more than three to five tables total. Despite that, my mother and I felt ignored for most of the evening. What made this especially disappointing was that I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Instead of feeling welcomed, we left feeling overlooked and unimportant. The one bright spot of the night was Nisa, the hostess. She was friendly, helpful, and stepped in toward the end to assist us. Her professionalism was appreciated and was the only positive part of our visit. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. It felt like the focus was on serving larger parties while smaller tables received little attention.
