I've bought vegan gansitos, conchas, niño enrollados, puerquitos, etc and even a Rosca de los Reyes here over the past few years. Everything is delicious. Customer service is quick and friendly. It's always clean and has fun whimsical decorations that change with the holidays. It's not a sit down place. Service is so friendly! I love the variety of bakery items they have. I also like that they tend to have conchas that match the theme of events that are going on ex: valentines day, mexico independence day, roscas, etc. The inside is small, but filled with lots of adorable decor. I was looking to order a vegan cake which can be made within 4-5 days of time. I was so lucky to check Soy Concha Bakery in YELP. I gave a call and the chef/ owner himself got my requirements and he offered additional customisation options to have a edible sugar paper on top. He made the cake just right, not too sweet, more chocolaty and fresh. The sponge and cream filling was on point. My best friend loved it as I specially wanted to make her happy for our 18 years of best friend anniversary. My whole family loved the flavor and couldn't believe it was a vegan cake as it was very tasty. Ambience and staff are very considerate and friendly. The cakes are so underrated. I ordered a marble with custard filling cake. So good, even my no vegan dad liked it. And the decorations are always executed well. The pan dulces and cakes here are top tier. I came here for my sisters birthday cake and honestly I'm so glad I did. My sister is vegan but I am not but honestly this is the best cake I've ever had. I even got my favorite pan dulce and from regular bakeries they're a little dry but I love it for the flavor, but here, it's so delicious and moist. I am not vegan but I will only get cakes from here now. I will only get my pan dulces here now. Not to mention the service, he was so nice and accommodating. Their pastries are amazing. Great tasting and you wouldn't even be able to tell they're vegan. I unfortunately can't have dairy so I often had to pass on desserts when I'm out. Finally got the chance to drive out to the Whittier location! I was familiar with the Santa Ana location and was soooo sad when it closed. Luckily it turns out they just moved to Whittier. We have a dairy allergy in the family and having a vegan option for pan dulce is a life saver. My mom isn't dairy free but she even loved the bread and said it was just an amazing spot overall! I've been to their Santa Ana location (now closed) and this was my first time in their new location in East Los. They have quite a bit of choices, but every time I go and each time it's at different parts of the day , they never have fresh and plain bollio. Every time I've called, or spoke to them in person if I can order ahead of time and to pick up a different day, they say they only make in certain times a Day and to come back a certain time. When I ask on Instagram, they read my messages, but I get ignored. When I walk into the store, the people who I've seen work there don't say anything after I've greeted them. When I ask about a what's in certain pastry, they rudely answer me. The chicken, jalapeños, and cream cheese bollio is good though. Their pastries never taste fresh, but they remain soft after a couple of days. read more

This place just opened on July 28, 2023. You NEED TO GO HERE!! I firmly feel that they rival another panadería out in Highland Park. The conchas here are SUPER SOFT. The panes are incredible.
