Looks like a new KBBQ restaurant and ownership. No lunch KBBQ but open for dinner on weekdays and all day on weekends. My husband, baby and I went to check it out on a Saturday afternoon. Lots of parking available in the strip mall and they're located on a corner. They have a couple different AYCE options and we went with the simple one Soya A at $35.95. Soya B looks good but just a little higher price point. There were one family there dining so we were the second family in the restaurant. The vibe of the place was calm with Kpop music videos playing on the TVs and not super loud. We received excellent service for ordering and getting refills on banchan, salad and sesame oil (I love me some sesame oil with my meats :9). I always get the rice paper and theirs tasted really good. You gotta have the corn cheese too, which this place offers it. Their fried chicken wings were fried fresh and the japchae tasted on the sweeter side. Part of me felt like I could have eaten more meats but we were conservative and ordered the prime brisket, beef belly, thinly sliced pork belly, seasoned beef and spicy pork belly. It sounds like a lot now that I type it out but can't wait to try it again next time :D

Came back again! Every time the service and the food is soooo good! My favorite, the steamed eggs, came out perfect again. Everyone is so attentive and I always have a great time when I come. Meat quality is consistent and the sides are made in house! Highly recommended!!

Excellent! This is under new ownership. The servers are extremely helpful, attentive and informative. The meat quality is amazing. Beef belly, brisket and the top sirloin were some favorites. They have a variety of options, for both AYCE and a la carte. All bachan were super fresh and tasty. The tofu stew had amazing flavor. Some other kbbq spots tend to water it down but this was delicious. Another highlight was the japchae, it was freshly made and tasted incredible. Granted the price is up there everything was well worth the price. The other benefit honestly was service & quality. I'm excited to come back and try more.

Yeah AYCE kbbq in Simi Valley!! Omg the meat is high quality!!! I love their meats!!! Its so soft it melts in your mouth! Their service is great and quick. Interior is clean and chic. Its under new ownership so it's very clean all around! I would highly recommend to friends and family. Great for big parties and lunch&dinnet. Casual eat out!

Best KBBQ in simi valley!!! The restaurant is new renovated and is very clean. Food is so delicious and fresh! The quality of the meat beats anything in LA. The brisket was so flavorful, chewy, and soft. The thin slice pork belly was also very delicious. It was crispy and almost resembles bacon. I couldn't stop ordering it! The seasoned beef was so tender and the sesame oil marinade was amazing. The stir fried octopus was spicy yet sweet! The octopus was so soft and the vegetables were refreshing. The side dishes were all very yummy and the salad had a sweet sauce. Service was amazing as well! Owner of the restaurant is super sweet!!! Please support this small business and visit Soya!!

I was very impressed by the quality of the meats--everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We ordered the prime brisket, pork belly (both regular and thinly sliced), and the beef belly--all of which were high quality and absolutely delicious. The sides were also great, with a nice variety of options. Some of my favorites were the radish wrap paper, the corn cheese, and the radish soup--so tasty and well-prepared! The service was excellent. Our server was great--anytime we wanted more sides, they brought them out quickly and with a smile. The owner was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Another huge plus is that they have a parking lot, which is so convenient. One thing we weren't a fan of was the automatic service charge (tip), as we usually prefer to decide that ourselves based on the experience. That being said, we still had a great time overall. I'm so happy this place opened up--it's definitely a new go-to spot for KBBQ, and I'm already looking forward to coming back!

Typing this as we are in the restaurant. Tuesday night with 630pm reservation seated right away. HOWEVER, 4 parties in the restaurant, we are the 5th. This is the slowest restaurant that I've been to like REALLY SLOW. We asked for another salad since we sat in, it's not yet here. We've waiting for meat, this the second grill since the first one is already burnt. So, disappointed with their star rating

Great new KBBQ spot! Reasonably priced, SUPER friendly and sweet staff, and delicious meats. I wish they had more banchan- they had a few which were all delicious but not the fish cakes, rice cakes. Japchae was super flavorful and the chili fried chicken was shockingly good. Would happily come again!

What should have been a special dinner was incredibly disappointing. We were constantly ignored, multiple things were forgotten, our grill went out around 10 times, and our drinks sat empty most of the night. We repeatedly had to find someone just to relight the grill. At the end of the meal, we waited about 30 minutes with no one coming to our table. The photos show how our table was left--uncooked meat, empty drinks, and no service. I finally had to track down our original waiter just to get the bill. I explained all of the issues, which he acknowledged, yet we were still handed the full $250 bill. I had to specifically ask for some type of adjustment, and they reduced it by only $30. We left after paying $220 for "all you can eat," and my family and guests were STILL hungry because we couldn't even get consistent service or a working grill. Extremely disappointing, especially for what was supposed to be a special celebration. We will not be returning.

The parking is plentiful and it's quiet enough if you want to do some major studying. Food/drink: drinks were good. They all had good flavor, but the boba was not as soft as I'd like it. The food came out warm and was served in a very simple way, nothing fancy like you'd see in a restaurant. The menu is very large, so we would like to return to order other items.
