I had an amazing, it was my first time at one, been curious to visit one for a while and today my shower was broken so I needed to take a shower before flying out so I stopped by after work and even when it was rush it was awesome. To know : *They provide you with a towel, a robe, a locker, a face mask and sandals * There they have cold water to drink, tea, oranges and coffee AND WIFI * They also provide with shampoo, conditioner, gel shower, body lotion and hair dryer I would recommend to bring or buy a FaceMask sheet and maybe an extra towel, I got mine wet and could have used one, maybe I could have asked tho. It was intimidating to be naked on the jacuzzis areas but I was more comfortable than I thought and the showers have curtains It was there for like 1 1/2 but I was in a rush, I would block for like 2 - 2 1/2 hours read more

I'm visiting town and wanted to have a relaxing spa afternoon. I got the seaweed detox treatment and it was absolutely lovely. My technician did an amazing scrub, body wrap and massage. I spent a long time enjoying the soaking tubs and detox rooms. Will definitely be back. read more

I went during the week, so it wasn't crowded. The facility was ok, kinda plain and basic, definitely not fancy. Some patrons don't know how to use their spa voices and should be reminded. And also reminded not to take selfies in the locker room. JFC. Lastly, there were a few of us plus size divas....please get some plus size robes! read more

My friends and I have been coming to this facility for a few years. We love the body scrub and all amenities. My only complaint is that guests don't respect others by bringing their cell phone in the showers and jacuzzi even if there is a sign at the door. Formerly known as the Wilshire Spa, this place has done some great upgrades! The ladies at the front desk were friendly. They handed us our towels and locker key and directed is downstairs. (Note: this is not handicap accessible! I asked if they had an elevator because of knee, hip and back problems, and they apologized but said no). So it was a slow walk down, but for those unable to go up and down a large flight of stairs, this is not your place. Once downstairs there's a nice sitting area with sofas and chairs. Free WiFi. Complimentary hot water, fruit infused ice water and coffee. Park in the parking lot for free for the first 4 hours. The locker room is small and intimate. Once changed, you go through a door to the shower area. Before entering any of the pools you must shower! Leave your inhibitions behind, as once through this door, you will be naked. (And get this..nobody cares! Thin, fat, old, young, wrinkles, scars..it's all there.) Once showered, there are 2 hot pools and a cold plunge. They also have a large barrel of ice water for an extreme cool down. Next are the steam and sauna room. (Please bring one of your towels to sit on. Proper nudist etiquette). And if you want to soak some more afterwards, just remember to shower off again before going in. If you are waiting for a service, someone will call out your number associated with your key. If you've never had a service, I recommend the full body scrub as an inexpensive introduction. At first it may be intimidating, but remember, we are all women. Let it go and enjoy. You'll feel amazing afterwards! When you are done in the shower/bath area, dry off, put on your robe, go past the lounge area and enter the various temperature rooms. Relax! Finish off with a shower. They did provide, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. You can opt for a stand up shower or seat shower (this is where I shave). Again, if sitting, just put a small towel down on the seat. Blow dryers, lotion and some small amenities are provided to get ready afterwards. When you leave, you hand the front desk your key. If you had any services they'll request payment. Be sure to get your parking ticket validated. And tip your lady for any services. (An envelope will be provided) Overall I'm impressed by all the great changes. I look forward to the tea room opening. I would like to see a small stack of small towels downstairs. They will trade out towels, but it's not practical to walk upstairs in a tiny robe to do so. My friend and I went to this spa on a whim after being disappointed by another spa in the area. Checking in was a breeze. They give you a key to your locker with a robe, towels, and rubber slippers to use. This place is very clean and well kept. Please note that this is a korean spa meaning people will walk around naked. But since the spa is not as busy and is a women's only spa, my friend and I were comfortable enough to get in the pools without any clothes on. They have 3 different kinds of pool and all are very clean. Shower rooms are also very clean. I recommend getting the Lavender Soothe! It comes with a full body exfoliation then a lavender oil massage. Korean scrubs are next level. Oh boy, they definitely scrub every crevice of your body. My skin never felt so smooth after. The treatment also comes with a face mask, hair wash, and condition. Definitely worth every penny. Love how the sauna rooms are also not crowded. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. This was my first time at a Korean spa, and it certainly won't be my last. I had the most wonderful self-care day at Spa LA. They have so many different amenities and services that it can be overwhelming at first. Each door actually has a Step # (1,2,3, etc) on it that made it much easier to understand what I should do. I wish the list was somewhere but instead I had to go hunting to figure out the order of the doors at the beginning. This was my only minor complaint. I opted for the Precious Pearl treatment which was a wonderful Korean scrub, massage, face mask, and hair wash. I felt so wonderful coming out of that, but then I went into the detox rooms and I just felt even better. My favorite room was the Charcoal Mud Clay Room. I just felt so relaxed in there. I also want to shout out the woman who was working at the front desk. She really made me feel so comfortable and patiently answered all my questions. I didn't catch her name, but I do think if it weren't for her, my experience may have been different. Overall, it was such a wonderful day and I can't wait to come back. read more

Wow this review is long overdue. I have been a frequenter of Spa LA. I keep coming back because I just love being here. I actually have a spa day scheduled for this Friday and I'm so excited. Why do I love it? Well they offer so many services for a really good price and the quality of their work doesn't drop. When I go to Spa LA, I get their Simply Classic package which includes a dead skin scrub, a full body massage, a facial, and if you would like your hair washed, they also do that. I've taken my mother and grandma there a year or so ago. Recently I took my best friend there, and this week I'm taking another friend there as well. I love the fact that you can go 45 minutes to an hour before your appointment and relax is the jacuzzis/heated pools so your skin can get nice and soft for the scrub process. The massage therapists there have the best hands. I usually go in really tense and soar and come out like a newborn child. It's definitely worth every penny. It's also a fun was to spend time with friends. They provide sandals, towels and robes for clients who get uncomfortable being naked while walking around in the common areas which is really nice too. Had such a relaxing time at Spa LA! Being new to the area, it was a must to try out a Korean Spa. After doing a bunch of research through Yelp, I ended up choosing Spa LA and I am very happy with my decision. Spa LA stood out from the rest as it is a women's only Korean spa and prices were relatively affordable in regard to all the amenities they offer. Also, they validated parking which was a plus! I booked myself for the Precious Pearl package that was 1 hour and 30 minutes which consisted of a full body scrub, lymphatic massage, hair wash, and a face mask for $200. Prior to my scheduled appointment, I arrived about 30 minutes before and utilized the three hot baths and the wet/dry sauna. If you are not aware, this facility encourages that you be fully naked when utilizing the shower/tub/sauna/wet areas to ensure cleanliness. All were very much relaxing, clean, and not crowded. Mind you, I went on a Thursday around 12 in the afternoon and there were many instances I had the tub/room to myself. Once it was time for my appointment, I believe my therapist was Jung. She did an amazing job scrubbing all the crevices of my body, but still ensuring I was comfortable. Don't even get me started with the lymphatic massage! Ughhh!! Wish I could relive it again. My mind was at complete ease, there were moments where I felt like I was drifting off to sleep because it was so relaxing. Even down to the hair wash, she massaged my scalp so well and was delightfully paired with a hair oil treatment which my dry scalp appreciated. The face massage and face mask was a nice touch towards the end of my treatment. My face had a beautiful glow to it. After my treatment, I ended up using the rest of the amenities which consisted of Himalayan Salt Room, Charcoal Mud Clay Room, and the Infrared Healing Room. My personal favorite was the Himalayan Salt Room due to nice, warm temperature of the room. I think I honestly fell asleep in that room. Again, the rooms were pretty much empty which allowed me to fully be in a relaxation mode. Overall, would highly recommend to those wanting to treat themselves to a lovely self-care day! They just opened the coed side. My fiancé and I visited this last week. The facility is nice. From my understanding, the women's side has its own spa area. The men's side only has a locker room and showers. Otherwise the areas outside the designated women and men's area are gender neutral. It was quiet. We basically had the place to ourselves. Someone told me that there used to be a male designated spa prior but they renovated it. The steam room did not work. It would have been nice if they could have stated that when we checked in. They have a sauna, and red light uv room, which we used. It was relaxing, but not sure if I'd go back anytime soon. They do have a week day special for a $25 dollar day pass. I think it ends in January 2026. Maybe if the steam room was working, I'd give another star. Also, one of the ladies working there was kinda rude when we politely asked her a question, so I'll deduct another star for that. read more

I haven't been to a Korean spa in a couple of years, so I had no expectations on what was to come. When we came inside, everything already looked very clean and pristine. When you first enter, there is a nail spa and a receptionist where you are given the options to choose your treatment or if you just want your admission ticket the receptionist was really nice and helpful and showed us around. There are many things to do if you are not going to opt in for a treatment such as the Jacuzzis and Clay room. My favorite room was the red light therapy room. My friends got a classic massage and said it was amazing. They scrub you down to get rid of your dead skin cells and wash your hair on top of a massage. The Experience was really lovely and I would recommend any of my friends to come here for the first time at a Korean spa. read more

Had the best experience at this spa and will definitely be coming back! I went during the week in the morning. Parking was easy to find and they validate. In order to enter the facility you have to be fully vaccinated. The facility is super clean. Like beyond clean. I did not find a single strand of hair. It was pretty empty since I went during the week. They provide you with a locker, robe, towel, slippers and a mask. I got a Swedish massage by Suzanne and it was the best message I have ever in my life received. I walked out of there as a new women. I enjoyed all the detox rooms and pools of water. Went today and received the simply classic scrub and massage. I arrived to the reception area and paid for my service and was given a key for a locker room. The locker room and spa services/area are all downstairs including amenities (coffee, Tea , water , hair dry area). I found my locker easily and there was a robe and slippers with towels inside. I went into the wet room but was unclear from the receptionist on the instructions if I was to wait in the waiting room area. However my number was called and went with Ruby back to the wet room for the scrub and massage. I also received a hair wash and facial which is included in the package ($125). Ruby did a phenomenal job and I felt sooo good afterwards. Once I finished I went back to get dressed and drop my key off to the receptionist where I went ahead and tipped Ruby for the services. I will definitely be going back to try out their other spa services. By the way, parking is literally across from their building and they validate! read more

Overall my Mother, Sister and I enjoyed our time here. The Seaweed detox was the best I've ever had. First timers everyone was friendly and very professional. I love the fact that none of the workers were talking while giving massages they were focused on scrubbing and everyone having their quiet time to relax while in the moment. I've never seen so much dead skin, or been this soft. Ana did a great job, I felt that she paid attention to the areas of troubled skin. My skin feels great and looks better. I was very relaxed and although a little uncomfortable because I was topless and have never been naked in front of strangers, I embraced the moment and the results were worth it. I meant to write this a while ago. I had already planned a girlfriends spa day that was cancelled because of street shutdowns prevented me from going to the west side. So quickly, I hoping to still get some RnR and fell on this magical spot. Spa LA had barely reopened right before locked down, and thankfully survived a long drought until this year. In this women only facility, the staff was meticulous in giving the best tour and cultural experience into first time Korean spa clients. Unlike other Korean spas tours, the host gave a little insight on artwork that was from Korean, and the purpose of each room. There was a sense of pride and gratitude in their service. I booked a honey scrub and felt she scrubbed all my problems and bills away! There was a diverse crowd of calm, eclectic women. I do enjoy how they were able to separate each of our water cups and personal space. Bonus, parking is in the back, and my return will be soon. read more

Spa LA is a quiet and relaxing environment for healing. The saunas and rooms complement the treatments they offer. I started my stay in the jacuzzi's and the steam sauna. My favorite of the pools is the citrus dip. Following that I did some light reading in the Himalayan Salt room and meditated in the clay room. All of the rooms are step by step guided so you get the most out of your experience Lastly I did a scrub and the front desk girl put me with one of their most requested therapists, and oh my god. I won't say her name out of fear that everyone will end up going to her, but holy smokes! She was both hard with the scrub (which I needed!) and gentle when she needed to be. She topped it off with a hair wash and a light massage. I was floating! After that I returned to some of my favorite rooms to soak up the rest of my stay before I had to leave. Overall very pleased and i will be going back and requesting the same therapist. Give yourself time before and after to enjoy the rooms, and come with an open energy. read more

Hooray! Came back and saw most of the changes that I suggested in my first review... won't be writing much to overburden the reader since my previous review was quite long already. Basically all the rooms are working and fully heated as they should be. The last room is open, but it's not an ice room. It seems they got rid of the pink slippers entirely, so everybody will be barefoot, which is similar to Olympic Spa. Although, there still isn't a sign to tell patrons when to take off their shoes. I still see a few folks wearing their own slippers and that's disturbing. The styrofoam cups for hot liquids are now gone and have been replaced by paper cups. This is my favorite spa in Ktown! I especially love that it isn't coed. I usually go for the lavender soothe or cleopatra in honey and both are really good treatments. If not relaxing AT LEAST GOOD!! SOOOO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THE JOJOBA OIL MASSAGE SAMPLER!!! 1. The lights were so obnoxiously vibrant. I mean morgue/ medical examine bright! Brighter than most of the areas. 2. The LADY I HAD WOULD NOT STOP TALKING TO HER FRIENDS SHE WAS SOOOOO LOUD AND I MEAN BLACK GIRL IN THE HOOD LOUD! ( and that person is usually me so I KNOW what loud is) like she was legit screaming!!! The entire time. HUUUUUH???? What job do you have where it is okay to talk so loud??? 3. Her massage skills were THE WORST! She rubbed SO FAST I COULDN'T even focus! Alright I think I'm not going to come here anymore. Before coming to this spa and also before paying at the front desk I asked them if the steam sauna was still out of order. It had been out of order for a month now. Both times I talked to someone today they said it had been fixed. Nope it's still out of order. Ridiculous. Be honest! The other saunas aren't warm at all (the ones that are usually hot) so I barely sweat in those. Two of the three tubs weren't hot either. They couldn't have been above 80 degrees when it said 95 degrees and 103 were the temperatures. The third tub was fortunately hot so I just spent my time there's I'm getting a 250$ facial today but I'm most likely not coming back a few days from now for my equally priced scrub. I will probably be going to a better women's sauna nearby. read more

Loved the mushroom tea! This place is kind of cave- like and more quiet than the usual Korean spas I have been to. There is a weird squeak noise that shows up every minute or so in one of the rooms which makes it hard to relax in there but other than that this place is great for the price point and I would return. read more

I had the shiatsu massage with Tina is was exactly what I needed. They have complimentary coffe, tea, & water. They have robes, towels, & slippers for in spa use. Shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Bad experience from start to finish. Came in for a massage with a friend at 2:30 yesterday. Waited about 45 minutes and kept getting told someone is coming. Ended up getting a refund and when the cashier processed a "refund" she actually charged me for the service again. Did realize until I got a notification from my bank so I called them and the female on the phone was very rude and condescending. If you are looking for a comparable spa I recommend Wi Spa not too far away. Always had pleasant experiences there and it's a bit bigger. read more

We decided to start the new year right and went to the spa first thing on Jan 1. This is a former Wilshire Spa - and this is why you still see a sign for it on the front of the building - just under new ownership and new name now. There is parking in the back, and your first 4 hours will be paid for with validation. After that you are on your own. This is a women only spa with all rooms located on the bottom floor. Their website provides great pictures and description, so I won't duplicate it here. I will say that since the place has just been remodeled, the facilities are super clean and very nice. I did find the dry sauna a little cooler than it needs to be, and the ice room was still not ready for use when we visited. Another thing is that I did not see any extra towels laying around, so these little nuances cost Spa LA one star. The services they provide are pretty compatible to other Korean spas in the area, and I would say prices are cheaper than elsewhere - this might change as Spa LA gets its clientele, so take advantage of it now. There is a herbal room with some services I have never seen provided anywhere else, so this is definitely new. No cafe on the premises, so plan accordingly. I hear they don't want you to stay longer than 4 hours (hence paid parking for this amount of time), but the lady upfront said nothing of this nature when we checked in. We got the Groupon deal to try this place out, but it is certainly worth the $25 entrance fee (which is waved with the certain amount of spa services you get). Will definitely be back! read more

okay experience. for $155 deep tissue massage plus tip absolutely not worth it & there are much better places to go. I got a deep tissue massage and was expecting it to be intense but relaxing. There was 0 relaxation in my experience. When my masseuse came to get me, she walked me to a hallway of doors where presumably people get their private massages done- she was checking the cracks in every door seeing which room was available, none were (you'd think they'd plan this out before hand and have the room ready? and not have to guess which room to use? seemed unprofessional). so she walked me upstairs, in my robe, past the front desk and people checking in (would've preferred to stay in the warm lower level where i didn't have to walk past other patrons in my robe). we go into a room that is directly across from the front desk. the room is silent, slightly cold, and no scents or candles or anything. very lackluster, which again is fine, but when you're at a spa it's all about the experience (obviously). I was instructed to take my robe off and lay down on top of a massage table. she then gets into my massage, and started out very rough. i asked her to go softer and she said "okay!" but did not go softer in the slightest. all i could hear the entire time was her breathing heavily through her mask, the dim lights in the room buzzing, and people checking in at the front desk. i've never been to a silent massage that is not playing relaxing music. or a massage that does not have a warm bed for you to lay inside of, not just get on top of. especially for a 75 minute treatment. after the quite harsh massage was over, i was sat up to put on my robe and leave, no option to lie down after and take your time. while i am sat up, naked, waiting for her to get me my robe, the front desk woman peeps her head inside..... all very uncomfortable & unprofessional. clearly these people do not care about curating a relaxing, soothing experience they more so are getting clients in and out. this place is FINE for a quick in and out massage and the facilities are okay, but there is much better out there. woke up sore this morning from my massage last night. read more

Desperately needs a facelift, but it is a no frills k sauna with the basic essentials. I didn't get any treatments, but the rooms were moderately clean and the wet sauna area wasn't the cleanest. They have free tea and water provided, but the machines also need to deep cleaned. Didn't meet my standards for a high quality clean Korean sauna, but it'll get the job done if you need an hour of decompressing. read more

Overall, it was a great experience. The front desk women are very kind. But I felt a little lost as someone who had never been here before. I'm really glad I read reviews and saw tiktocks ahead of time because otherwise, I would have been very lost. I did appreciate the fact that it's a women only spa. The vibe is very comfortable. There's very little awkwardness. The first woman who did my massage was a little rough, but when I asked her to go a little lighter, it was much better. My 2nd treatment wasn't quite what I expected. I got the seaweed wrap. The wet tables are all in one open space, not private rooms, so just be aware that you're in close proximity to other women. The woman who did my 2nd treatment felt very rushed. Her massage wasn't so much relaxing as it was fast. The "wrap" itself felt a lot like a mylar blanket. So that was unexpected. I did see a lot of cleaning going on as I was there. As I was getting my "seaweed wrap," I noticed other women cleaning the tables as they finished with a person. That made me feel really good about the cleanliness. I personally enjoyed the clay ball room. I could have stayed in there forever! I didn't get a chance to visit the sauna, but the Himalayan salt room was also really relaxing. I'll definitely give this place another try when I'm in town. read more
