Reserved for a pre-Mother's day celebration the night before. Service was great-- friendly front staff and attentive server. Our server was able to recommend us the best type of shucked oysters to pick that were "beginner-friendly." We went with the East coast derived oysters, and they were actually really good with no fishy aftertaste. Appetizers and entrees didn't take too long to come out-- around 15-20 minutes for all to arrive at the same time. I actually like their bread they offer as a courtesy because it had a hard, thick outer shell but was soft in the inside. Their butter is also heavenly, loved that it was sweet! Entrees were decent-- I got the scallops and they were soft and quite delectable. Prices range anywhere from around $30-$75 for their entrees, which I understand comes from the freshness of the seafood and that it is a fine dining restaurant. Ambiance definitely sets a low-lit vibe that would be best for date nights. Kind of hard to see the menu if you don't place the little table lamp in the middle of the table. But again, understand it's probably for the fine dining aspect. Do wish we were able to sit outside to get the nice breeze and view, so maybe next time!

Went here for a company dinner, and we were seated in the private room which has a water view. Gorgeous day, so it was perfect! I got the steak (medium) and the guava groove (cocktail). The steak was cooked right. The veges that came with it were good, and I especially like the gravy for the mash potatoes. The cocktail had a good ratio of alcohol and sweetness which were to my liking! The cheesecake was decent and nothing special. Servers were friendly.

Be ready for a spendy meal. We had a large group of 16 for lunch. It was very nice inside. Parking with validation was $10.40. I had the ahi tuna sandwich and eel sashimi. Eel is always good. The ahi seemed overcooked. He had the Chilean sea bass which he loved. We all shared oysters, calamari, garlic cheese bread(SO GOOD). I had a mango mojito which was delish even though the mangos in it were a bit under ripe. $1227.00 was our bill! They tacked on 18%. So his tip was $169!

While on a staycation in Long Beach, my wife and I found ourselves strolling all over The Pike area. We stumbled upon the Parker's Lighthouse and decided to pop in for a quick snack. We orderd a couple cocktails and some appetizers. I had an Old Fashion my wife went with a Pomegranate Basil Smash. For the appetizer we went with the Karage Chicken Lettuce Wrap, Crispy Calamari, and The Queens Roll. The service little slow, but thankfully we weren't in a hurry. Although we sat in the bar area, it seems to be a kool place for a date. There are bunch of window seats with ocean views that could set the vibe. The Lettuce wraps were our least favorite due to the lack of flavor. You most definitely will need to use the sauce it comes with. The sushi and the calamari were wonderful. The sushi was nice and fresh, and the Calamari was crispy and flavorful. The cocktails hit the spot. Overall its a good spot for drinks and light bites.

Great location and amazing harbor view. Located at the corner of the shoreline village. We walked from Long Beach Aquarium and it took about 10 mins. Great view along the walk as well. I love the calamari, burrata, clam chowder. But not a fan for the fish&chips. Garlic bread burger is average. We sit at the patio and the overall atmosphere is great!

We had a great time...the view deserves all the stars. The service was great and our server was very kind to the kiddos and indulged them the whole time. The kids menu was a hit with our little ones, who enjoyed popcorn shrimp and a kids size fish and chips. We also shared a mixed grilled plate that was serviced with skewers and the fish of the day. It was a good and healthy plate. We also ordered the tollhouse pie which hit the dessert spot, but had a lot of nuts. All of the pier spots are clearly for the views. The food was good, but not the star of the show.

We made a reservation for an early Mother's Day lunch at Parker's Lighthouse. We haven't had a chance to eat here in years! I'm so glad we finally made it back because it was a wonderful experience. We were seated at a beautiful table with a full view of the ocean. The restaurant was immaculately clean with beautiful decor. I love how it is modern nautical style. For appetizers we ordered calamari, Brussel sprouts and the warm crab dip. All the appetizers were delicious! My favorite was the Brussel sprouts. I have never had Brussel sprouts cooked with chili honey and served with hummus. It was so ono! For entrees, we all ordered the seafood Cobb. Although it is served with a Louie dressing i asked for Bleu cheese instead. The salad was so fresh and delicious! A perfect lunch entree! I had mimosas and my husband and and son ordered from the beer menu. The alcohol beverage menu is nice and extensive and has a little something for everyone. We such a wonderful time and we're so pleased with our food and the service. Our server Brandon was amazing! We were so lucky to have him as our server! 5 stars for Brandon! I highly recommend Parker's Lighthouse if you want amazing service, food and views! It is a bit on the pricier side but you definitely pay for what you get! Absolutely worth it!

Henry P. made our Mother's Day brunch epic. He was so kind, attentive, and professional as we asked him for options, descriptions, and personal favorites of his with which to make our choices. Our Salmon and Mediterranean Salads, Chicken and Tuna Sandwiches, Seafood Grill Plates, and amazing desserts were tasty and phenomenal. The delicious seaside food along with the beautiful Long Beach marina atmosphere made for a delightful family afternoon. Thank you Parker's' Lighthouse.

Pre Mothers Day lunch with the pleasure of Henry P. as our waiter was everything. Great food. Great service. Beautiful view. Thank you Parker for the space to celebrate.

I took my partner here for her birthday, and it did not disappoint! We normally go upstairs to the queen view restaurant, but this time we decided to dine on the patio with a different menu and we were so happy! Our waiter was so nice and even brought out a little treat for my partner's birthday! I got the chef special, which was a curried fish dish with rice and it was awesome! We will definitely be back

Stopped by here and had an amazing late lunch. I was hungry for this one. I ordered a poke bowl with more salad than rice. I loved the sea weed the salmon and tuna was beyond delicious it also cane with a miso soup and i loved that as well. We also had the oysters they were pretty good but one region forgot Which one had more fragments of the shell not cool really annoying to be honest. Service was fast and easy. The ambiance during this time was great honestly quiet and intimate with really nice views.

I had no complaints. The service was great, the food was also great and it had a beautiful view. On nice days it would be a great spot if you wanted to eat outside too.

3rd trip to Porters and it was great to see service and food continues to top notch. Doubly so it was great to see the addition of covers and new furniture on the large spacious back patio since our last visit. Went there on a Friday afternoon, no reservations, but definitely recommend making one. Surprised to see they are closed until 3pm on a Friday, but allowed us and several groups to wait, and we were seated at 245pm. Great selection of beers and cocktails, oysters, fish n chips are priced very good for the location. Server was very attentive to water and drink refills, food was quickly brought out. Stunning views of the bay and Queen Mary, whilst being protected by new shade covers on the patio. Didnt feel rushed as they got busier through the afternoon on a Friday. Definitely be back

Parkers' Lighthouse Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Parkers' Lighthouse

Is there valet parking or nearby parking lot?

Yes, there is nearby parking. It is pretty expensive. You have to pull a ticket. Restaurant will validate ticket to reduce cost but it isn’t free.

Thinking about my attire. Is shorts and flip flops to casual for this place?

You will be fine we were very casual when we went!

    Do they also serve sushi?

Yes, they have a small sushi menu

Are dogs allowed at outdoor seating? A small dog inside doggie carriage? Also, any buffet brunch?

They don't offer a buffet brunch and your dog should be fine.

    Do you serve kids menu?

    Yes

How's the parking situation? Do they have their own parking lot/structure, valet?

There is a general lot for all the shops/restaurants in the area. With validation parking is $10 for a couple hours. It's not a big lot either. You may take a few laps during peak hours.

Is Thanksgiving menu limited to fixed price three course menu?

    Yes

    Is sit down now available?

    Yes, both inside and outside.

    Is the patio dog friendly?

Is the menu still the same as pre covid? I know some restaurants have changed to a more limited menu..

Michelle, I dined on their opening weekend and there were no special menus. The options were quite extensive. And of course as in the past, the food was impeccable.

What's the dress code here...casual, semiformal, formal?

I visited just recently when they reopened and the dress code is casual. The staff was wonderful and not stuffy at all.

Will they have a Thanksgiving brunch?

Brunch buffet is only served twice a year. Easter and Mothers Day.

Does anyone know what the corkage fee is here? Thanks

    $25

    Can you make reservations?

Yes, you can make reservations. The outside patio is nice if it's not chilly.

Do you guys have brunch? Endless Mimosas? If so can I have pricing.

Yes you can make reservations on line

Where is the happy hour? Are there still mice views at the bar?

I would call for the happy hours. And the best view is going to be the outside seating. The bar is inside.

If I wanted to sit outside and have a view of the queen mary and the water, where would I request to be seated?

Just ask to be seated on the patio facing the Queen Mary.

Tell me to meet you somewhere and I'll be there. Simple as that and less stress for me. Anyways, that's how we ended up at this place. Trying to find happy hour with food in the area was somewhat a challenge. Either they were finishing up or it wasn't that interesting on the menu. Of course some places offered amazing drink deals but no food. We ended up here actually across the street still looking up for places but the rooftop patio was what caught our attention. The restaurant itself looked bare as there was no one inside. Still on the early side but noticing people going in and then heading up stairs. After a few debates on here and there, we gave up and found our way here. Checked in with the host, letting him know that we just wanted happy hour upstairs. It was about two flights of stairs which the place looked quite industrial with all the metal beams and stairs. Downstairs was beautiful but completely emptied. Everyone wanted to utilize the rooftop patio as it was beautiful out. We were greeted by someone which mentioned to us that any bar seating was available. There was a section towards the back that was pretty lively. I think it was booked for a group. Instead of the bar area, we asked to sit along the rooftop counter that looks out to the street and building across the street. Way better view and perfect way to spend the afternoon hours. Staff were all pretty sweet and very friendly. Whatever we needed they were they to help. Both the regular menu and happy hour menu were quite impressive. As we just wanted HH, it was given. They had drink special for 10.00 and small bites for 10.00 as well. Didn't hesitate and started off with some drinks. The red sangria with mixed fruits was a nice clean and refreshing treat. Tasteful without that aftertaste. And the Le Pistolet Fumant, a delectable tasty drink with mezcal with a hint of pineapple. And other well drink that was perfect for a nice afternoon. HH drink special was quite tasty to start off. Food wise, started off with an order of the Caesar salad, simple but delicious. Fresh crisp Romaine lettuce and slices of Parmesan and crouton bits. Nice crunch with each bite. The dressing, wow pretty tasty. And an order of the Mac and Cheese . Most places it's either a hit or a miss and let me say it was a HIT. Quite cheesy and full of flavors that a second order was had. A dish I do recommend for HH. We also had an order of the Brussels sprouts which was excellent. A nice glaze and crunchy with chunks of house cured pancetta. Nice big chunks I must say. Lastly the beef sliders with Wagyu beef patties. Honestly, this was the least favorite of the dishes we got. You would think it sounded great but it was quite tasteless and nothing major to report on. Served with brioche bun and shredded lettuce and tomatoes and a lemon aioli. I had high hope for it when I saw the group next to us order it but it was a little disappointing. Overall, the Mac and cheese, Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts were all hits. The sliders, disappointing. Other items on HH didn't look too ingesting for us but it was for other people. The rooftop lounge and bar area was the place to be when we were there. It picked up real fast after we got seated. Picnic style tables being occupied by large groups before HH ended. Just the rooftop alone was great and beautiful. It a place that's good for a drink and meal with friends. Downstairs was beautiful but seemed more of an intimate experience. Overall, it was a great choice for a meal during HH.

Bristy, our server, thoroughly explained the details of certain dishes such as the Mac & Cheetos. She also checked in on our table throughout the meal and came around often to refill our water. As for the food itself, it was very delicious. My favorite dish was the artichokes. They had a somewhat smoky flavor and the outermost leaves were crunchy and a nice contrast to the soft inside of the artichokes. They were also served in a tangy sauce that complimented the vegetable well. My friend's favorite item was the macaroni and cheese. It was chewy and creamy, and the pasta, which Bristy informed us was made in-house, was what my friend thought elevated the dish because it was a nice texture. We additionally ordered the gumbo which was also tasty but not as yummy as the other two dishes that we ordered. It is not a spicy dish if one is concerned about spice level. As for the ambiance of the restaurant, we enjoyed how the atmosphere felt casual and almost like you were sitting in somebody's house (the wallpaper and interior design is pretty) while still maintaining an elegant aesthetic design. If I was in the area, I would return to The Attic for dinner. My friend and I had a very welcoming and positive experience in terms of the service and food respectively at this establishment.

There is inside seating what looks like a converted house? There is outside seating at tables or at the bar. The menu was interesting which had a theme of shrimp; there was eggs Benedict with shrimp, but not an item to order a regular one without it? Sure maybe could have ordered and asked without shrimp but pay the same price? Pass. Ok when I called they mentioned they serve brunch until 3? 3:30 I can't remember. The server mentioned they serve the brunch all day? Either way when I got to ordering this month on the menu it highlighted the shrimp po boy. I tried to order and nope, out. How can you be out of the item highlighted as the special in the middle of the day? When the place is not packed? I tried to order the lobster roll and again, out. I was tempted to order their short rib poutine since in theory it sounded good, but at this point I tried something simple I would hope they have in the kitchen chicken and waffles. The plate came and it looks good. If you look at the picture at the bottom of the chicken you can see a dark something. As I lift my chicken I found a huge burnt piece of breading pictured next. On top of the chicken is green onion I think? Who eats that with chicken and waffles? If I am wrong, a garnish is totally unnecessary for this dish. The chicken was moist. There are spices in the flour breading I can see but hard to taste what it is. The waffle is a hard pass for me. The waffle was crispy which is good, but also thin and dry and I couldn't taste any sweetness until I put maple syrup on it. The syrup came out warm which was nice. It's clear watching the people at the bar this is a local hangout. The chicken and waffles were $19 which if I was in the bay I think it's about right, but I think a little high considering the level of food I got. Supposedly this place is packed specifically on Sundays. The server doesn't know why? I'm not interested to even try to come back for a second chance and just be told sold out of the menu.

My wife and I had an excellent Sunday brunch experience here. We sat in their shaded patio and…read morelistened to the duet jazz band sipping cocktails and eating delicious food. I started with a cup of their beef and barley soup. My wife and I both make this at home from scratch and we're both impressed by theirs. My wife took a taste of mine and instantly ordered her own. Very rich and flavorful. I kept looking at photos of their take on chicken and waffles and knew I had to try it. Seriously epic and was good as it looked. They coated the chicken in a chili rub that gave it a sweet and spicy flavor when paired with their maple syrup. Served on top of a waffle and topped with an egg. I loved it and would probably order again on my next visit. My wife had the American plate which was your classic eggs, bacon, potatoes, and sourdough toast combo. High quality ingredients elevated it beyond your typical diner food. Drinks were great too. I had their house made bloody mary which had a nice kick to it. My wife had their brunch version of a Corpse Reviver cocktail. After our meals were done we finished with an Irish coffee since everyone was ordering them. Perfect service, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food will definitely have me returning very soon! Parking is free for 2 hours at the nearby garage on 3rd and is a very short walk. The closer garage on Broadway is not free. You can make restaurant reservations on their website but it wasn't needed when we went.

I am here to review The Miracle pop-up at The Ordinarie, that's how late my Yelp reviews are coming…read morein. Sorry!! TLDR; It's expensive, and not worth the routine visit, but worth the one-time stop in to experience the festivities. The Miracle pop-up at The Ordinarie is somehow even more decorated and extravagant than you'd expect from a seasonal pop-up. The line looks long outside, as there are no reservations, but it moves quickly since they hold everybody to a pretty strict 2-hour time limit. The drinks are good, the cups are cute, and everyone is festive. It's an all-around fun experience.  I think because of this, you do pay a premium price tag for food and drinks that are just good or okay. I think it's something that is worth the visit if you've never been and you enjoy getting into the Christmas spirit. I think that outside of the pop-up, The Ordinarie is a fun spot to check out in Long Beach. It't not a pillar of the food scene if you're a tourist, but it is a good, late night spot if you work in the industry nearby. They have a great late-night menu with a killer smash burger.
