We can here on Friday night because I was craving pizza. When we walked in we noticed how nice this place looks on the inside. Plenty of TV's if you want to watch a game, and they also have nice decor. We immediately got sat down, and our server was very quick to take our order. We started off with the Buffalo wings. They were tasty! Sauce had a bit of a mild spicy kick to it. Which is great if you don't like super spicy wings. Overall they were crispy and delicious. We also ordered the super duper pizza with the NY crust. Man was this pizza loaded with goodness. They really stacked the Ingredients on top to make for a great supreme pizza. The crust and sauce were really good! I can see why they say this is the best pizza in town. Our service was sooo great, our server was checking on us a lot making sure we had enough to drink and that everything came out good. The manager Jose also came around to ensure we were having a good experience. This was my first time trying Spanky's and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a very cute and eclectic theme. Their menu has a wide variety of options other than pizzas and they also serve liquor. Although I didn't partake in any of their drinks this time I do plan to come back to try them. Found this place on Yelp and I'm glad I did. The building is super nice and clean. The staff is friendly and proficient! I had the pleasure of talking to the manager Paul, he was so helpful and polite. We started off with fried pickles that were amazing! We finished off with a medium deep dish meat lovers no bacon. Sporty restaurant with TVs pretty much everywhere to watch the games. Host was friendly and took us to our table. Our waitress was so nice and friendly. Can't say anything bad about the food. Unfortunately, not all locations are consistent with the flavor (which is frustrating because I'm closer to the telephone road location) but this one on Bellaire is by far the best one. Was riding in 59 on the way to run an errand and I saw the Spanky's sign out if the corner of my eye. I had heard great things about it but had never tried it. I got the individual "Super Duper" which is pretty much your basic Supreme pizza with extra meat. The rumors were true one if the best pizzas in Houston. Definitely worth giving a try. read more

I had Spanky's carry out the other day. I had a coupon in the mail and decided to try it. Let me tell you I was IMPRESSED. We called for carry out and I think her name was Gisselle was super nice. She explained the types of crusts and was patient with our order. We had the large super duper and a medium chicken Alfredo. Both the NY thin. They were so good, I would have added a pic to the review but the pizzas are gone. So delicious. The ingredients were really fresh and it wasn't greasy. The prices are reasonable too. I also really liked their pepper flakes. It's the only pizza place I've had where the pepper flakes are actually spicy. We ordered maybe about 50 minutes before closing. The pizzas and service was awesome. I'll be back for sure. read more

July 29, 2023 (Bellaire location) to have dinner was the plan at our favorite (Spanky's) restaurant. Unfortunately a bad customer service experience tainted the evening. We ordered freshly made buffalo wings, we'd been ordering for years. The order came out wrong. I motioned the server over and told her about the problem. She had a great attitude and was happily going to take care of the situation. But just about then the manager stepped in. She didn't apologize & instead said that if we re-order she was going to bring back the same order. I've been at Spanky twice and both times I get their delicious burger and fries! I love how fast I'm seated in order was taken in a timely manner. Food: I ordered the 13" New York Hawaiin pizza for a party of 3. As soon as a slice is lifted from the tray, literally all the cheese and toppings rushed off the slice. The dough is very soft and the ham chunks are ridiculous in size. A fork and knife is needed to eat the pizza. I took one look at it and ordered the lasanga instead; much better. Ambiance: Not much to say, really. Spanky's is your typical family friendly pizza chain with knick-knacks all over the wall and a typical Food Network remodel style. It's served hot and fresh by the very attentive staff every time. Prices are also very reasonable and on nights with specials seem almost too good to be true. The only thing keeping it from a 5/5 is the other menu items (besides the wings and pizza) can be lacking sometimes. Before the winter storm, we actually celebrated V'Day on Friday at @spankyssharpstown . We've wanted to try this place since they opened it and they did not disappoint.
