He kept a smile and when all was said and done he was able to save us money on Spectrum overall. My kids have been on Spectrum mobile for a year now and they recommend it highly. Joseph took great care of us, he was very knowledgeable and professional but also very friendly and didn't rush us at all. We came back to have our phones switched from Verizon to Spectrum, I still can't believe how much we saved. Elena took care of us, again didn't rush us even though we were the last customers in the store. After days of issues, Spectrum customer service instructed me to come into this store for an equipment swap. I expected the problem to finally get resolved. Instead, I was met with rude, dismissive service. The employee I dealt with had on no name badge. She was a female with glasses, a face piercing, and tats on her hands. She was rude from the start, had visibly angry, hostile body language, and spoke to me like I was an inconvenience. When I explained that Spectrum told me to come in, she said "Spectrum was wrong," then told me to "step aside." When I pushed for clarity on what I was supposed to do next, her response was a defensive, rude "I'm only doing my job." If your response to a customer is "I'm only doing my job," then please do the part where you actually help. You had one job: resolve an equipment swap Spectrum sent me in for. Instead I got attitude and dismissal. "Only doing my job" isn't a free pass to be rude. Your job is customer service. Act like it. That excuse doesn't justify treating customers with disrespect and especially when we're following Spectrum's own instructions. If corporate support is sending customers into stores, this location needs better training, professionalism, and alignment with Spectrum's customer service process. I left without a resolution and will not return. One star. read more

Find another place to get help with their service because they will not help you here. Ask for a manager all you want, but they won't provide one. Technician said I can swap out router so I drive on Christmas Eve to pick it up verifying it's in stock but they will not provide it to me. They bring it out in the box that said I must upgrade my service, but that won't happen. I'll explain to them, two other technicians on phone said that they can swap it out, which caused me to come in but they won't swap it out. Would not let me speak to the manager. The absolute worst service I've ever had. Spectrum are a bunch of crooks and thieves. They will burn you at every moment pslossible. They can't help you at the store. Not impressed. My husband was ready to buy a new iPhone (Best Buy wouldn't sell to him since we have Spectrum as our Carrier), so we went to the Spectrum store off McKinley. They didn't have the phone he wanted in stock. I tried calling that store and guess what???? They don't accept any calls! I requested a simple move to service transition by phone with Spectrum starting on a Saturday..loooooong story short. The phone rep located in Ohio or somewhere, not here, canceled my order after I spent an hour on the phone - accepted the order verbally as it was recorded when the call suddenly dropped. I expected a call back...that never happened. I decided to come into the Spectrum Corona McKinley store on Sunday. I met a great professional and courteous associate, Joseph Pineda. He confirmed my original order was cancelled and helped me with even a better promotion. His customer service skills were excellent. Afterwards, I started receiving emails from Spectrum with a way higher rate than what Joseph had quoted me. I'm like...oh no, did Robert lie to my face...he seemed so genuine and professional and courteous. I called Spectrum on Monday a rep in Texas who thought he was slick and quoted me a higher rate and said there was no rate available as the one Joseph had quoted me...called again on Tuesday and then Thursday and then again on Friday. It was pure torture. I finally decided to pay Joseph another visit. I admit, I came in kind of hot after all I had been through. Bottom line, Joseph was legit and a professional and handled the situation along with his competent supervisor. They were authentic and honest and let me know what happened out of their control. Yet they assured me they would correct it and my original promotion was still valid. They both responded correctly and maturely with the right measure of customer care, concern and professionalism. These two were fantastic and turned around what seemed like a nightmare into an expected, pleasant, less stressful situation that it had turned into. Thank you so much...The both of you can keep your head held up high with pride for standing out and doing a job well. Have had Spectrum for several years now and honestly its horrible! Always not connecting never able to find what im looking for.. Also we use it for our wifi, of course like so many do.. have had to separately buy new routers for it to make a connection!! The router is always the problem PER spectrum its never their fault!!! Recently lost Spectrum connection, one we got it back for no reason then entire neighborhood lost power for maybe 2 min if that¿! Once we got power back Spectrum took 2 days for any of our Tvs or WiFi to finally work again! No reason this should have happened for it taking so long to reconnect!! Why?? One of my older TVs took 5 days to come back to Spectrum?? Again Why?? Worst connections ever!!! And try to find a show your looking for or a recording! Good Luck!! Equipment Return. I recently relocated my business and unfortunately Spectrum is not available in my new area. I was told to return my equipment to a Spectrum store. I visited the store located at 103 McKinley Street in Corona CA. The equipment I needed to return was very heavy more that 7 separate pieces of equipment. I asked Charles if they had a cart, he said "No" I said okay, I will take this chair and bring the equipment in on it. He said "No" you can bring the pieces in one by one. We can't help you because we will lose our job!!! (Isn't helping the customer the job?) Another customer actually helped me bring these items in. Adam, an employee working with Charles, went to pick up the box of items, I had brought in and he had a very, very difficult time lifting the box!!! I am 64 years old and love spectrum services, however i should have received better customer service than this! This unfortunately not the first item Charles has been flippant with customers. I am having a hard time reaching to a live person at Spectrum. I am paying so much money each month for internet connection that I cannot even connect to the internet every time I tried to use the internet. When you call customer service, you will not be able to get a live person on the phone. They will reset your device from their end, and it would be up to you to figure out why you can't still connect to the internet. I suggest for everyone to find other internet providers as Spectrum is already poorly managed. read more

We had spectrum 2 years before and is restarting service again. I called the 800 numbers to initiate the set up service. They offered to either send the equipments needed to set up internet service or we could go to any store convenient to us to get the equipment when we were ready. We obviously opted for the latter since I'm reviewing this location. I was told that we could just walk in into any store of our choice. We did exactly what was told. We came in the store and there was just 1 lady working the counter and she was occupied with another customer. There was another customer on the self serve kiosk, not sure what they were doing. I walked in and made line behind the customer that was being helped by Spectrum staff. After waiting a couple of minutes in line, the staff then told me to put my name on the tablet near the entrance of the store so that way they have my name and told me to wait until then. Okay so I did just that. Though it would have been nicer to just say that in the beginning as you enter the store. The store is pretty dim and the vibe is a little dingy. lol I think they need to staff up and just do a bit better at greeting and letting customer know the 'flow' of the store. It seems like they're trying to do what T-mobile or Apple stores are doing, but very minimally and not up to par on the staff side of it to execute it properly. I don't really mind the waiting but it was just weird being bounced around the store when my purpose was to just pick up some internet equipments. After waiting maybe another 5-10 minutes, another staff came out from the back and helped the lady on the kiosk. Then she went to the counter and called my name. She then asked for my ID, and after some computer work, she handed us our equipments and cables and we were on our way. Love! Love! Love Spectrum Wi-Fi, Cable, landline& mobile. I've been a customer for 39 straight years! Matt, Amanda and Charlee have helped me numerous time in store. They are so friendly, professional and very helpful. People need to be patient and remember every customer gets their turn and each person's situation is unique to their own. I've had Spectrum Internet for about 3 years. Internet service has always been horrible but at least it was cheap. They snuck that price up to $87/month without informing us and I'm currently wrapping up my first hour of being on hold to disconnect services because these jerks won't let you cancel online, or in their web chat, or with a customer service representative. There's one guy in a basement somewhere with five hundred thousand unsatisfied and now pissed-off Spectrum customers dying of old age as they wait to cancel Spectrum's subpar internet service. The Details: Our speeds bounce from 20-40 mpbs for hours and then cut out entirely. On the odd good day, we get 100-120 mbps but it has NEVER reached the 300 mbps speed we were promised and for that, I think they owe me a large refund, but I'm not holding my breath. The service is completely unacceptable, and then they make you wait on hold for hours to cancel it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this terrible company. I wish I did. read more

If there's such thing as a zero score, this place gets zero! I made an appointment to pick up a new modem. Unfortunately they wouldn't give me the modem unless I bring the old one. I told them that the old modem is still hooked up to the house because we r still using the Internet. It is slowing down that's why I need a new one. Well they said the only way is to have the new equipment mailed to me and then ups the old one to them, NOT dropped at the store. I've done this before when I was in OC and that's not how it worked. I do not want to argue anymore with these people as they already ruined my day! So now I have to wait for the freaking modem. When I got home my son said their website said I can get the new modem and dropped off the old modem. I went to a spectrum in OC where I used to live. They gave me the new modem. They said when I get a chance then drop off the old modem at any spectrum store! And if ever I get the new modem on the mail, I can just return that too! Wow! What a great help from that store! Do not go this store on McKinley Corona. They will not help you! Very poor customer service. No wonder they're only 1.4 stars. These people don't care however, about customer reviews obviously. Been with Spectrum for almost 3 weeks now... Internet is good so far,however TV service is sketchy...Buttons for TV somewhat unresponsive...TV freezes for no reason...DVR. only records 2 shows at a time and not able to access any saved recordings from any other tv's. Now in our 3rd week and the volume goes up and down randomly??? Reminds me of days of old when the commercials would come on extremely loud. This is just a review for this store, not spectrum the company. You have to check in when you first get in, I think it takes on average 10-15 minutes per customer if not longer. But thank goodness I told the guy I just needed a new remote as he helped me right away. The also open at noon on Sunday? That's crazy to me. The weekends are when people are out and about able to do errands. Anyways, they greet you when you walk in (sort of), they just tell you to check in. But overall, it's fine. read more

I went down to activate and port over my new phone I had to order, the system was down and I understand that happens but the attitude and unprofessional employees and management just have me in awe. Inez as a manager you should have more empathy when your system goes down and a customer tells you they just drove a hour to you!! You pay by the month so if you pay for a month of internet speed and you change it one day into the new month they still reduce your speed but charge you the same for the whole month You would think the Change in speed would begin when the new cycle starts because that's what you're paying for but no they reduce your speed and make you pay that increased amount read more

Terrible service. Internet had to be restarted every few days and was way overpriced. When I cancelled my service I asked if there would be any more charges and was told that my billing cycle was complete so I would NOT. I ended up getting charged again because my billing cycle, in fact, had not been complete. They refused to prorate the 2 weeks. If I had known I was being charged those 2 weeks I would have kept my equipment until that time. Awful service!! read more

The internet service was bad at best. I called in to cancel and the first agent refused to cancel until I listened to all of their offers. I replied I just want to cancel. Called back and found someone that would cancel after only a few question. Next I had to return the equipment. Went to their local store and had to wait a long time just to drop off their modem. Go to another store. Actually you're better off doing it online. I came here because I wasn't quite understanding the promotion online they had for their internet. When I got here, the rep told me she can't offer me the promotion online. I decided to walk around the store while I ordered the modem online with getting the promotion. The manager comes out of the back. He then proceeded to ask if we were going to let the rep help us. We, my husband and I, said we did try to have her try to help us but unfortunately she said she can't offer the online promotion. Keep in mind she didn't seem sad or upset about losing her sale to an online promotion because she had her head stuck in her cell phone. He says "Well of course we can't compete with the online promotions but I mean you're here and we're humans that are constantly in competition with the online prices." As if to say that we're not humans? I have been in sales before. That was not the way to convince us to give you our business. My husband then tells him "and we're consumers, is it not understandable for us to try and get the best deal possible to save money? We're constantly dealing with inflation." The manager shut up so quickly. I finished my online order with the promotion, showed the rep my order number, got my modem, and left. Never coming back to this location. So I have always had a positive experience with Spectrum stores and when our local store was temporarily closed I had to go to the Corona office where I received the worst customer services I have ever experienced. After finding out that someone at Spectrum added spectrum tv on my account, I went there to have it removed. Once they removed it I asked for my balance. There was a short Hispanic lady who refused to tell me how much my internet bill was. She literally said, im not going to tell you that. Needless to say I was very tempted to snatch her over the counter but I decided to yelp about her instead. This is the worst place to go for service.
