I went in there the other day to purchase a phone and I will not be going back, the staff lacks proper communication, throws #s at you quickly and expects you to understand their plans with out proper clarification. A young girl (who works as a representative) there was throwing numbers inefficiently, seemed impatient when trying to explain and also did not give the proper calculations according to the plans and was very dismissive. It was frustrating to sit there and have my time wasted for hours. I had to calculate and figure out the proper plan myself when it is the sales reps' job! Please hire representatives with actual expertise or give them proper training... especially regarding this sales rep- as she was under-qualified for the simple basics. She struggled to properly explain the basics and would speak over instead of allowing the client to ask questions. To top it off her attitude was not friendly through out the process as well. Needless to say I walked out of the store and they did lose a sale that day because of the whole experience. I did try and speak to the manager regarding the rep but he brushed it off instead. This is an official "corporate" Verizon store, but don't really expect that to mean anything. It certainly doesn't equate to better customer service. Sure the authorized retailers are just being nice to your face because they want a sale, but man I swear its worse here where they just ignore you, or do everything in their power to make excuses to avoid actually helping you. I've been here twice, I think I dealt with Barry both times. I definitely dealt with him the second time. The first time I handed the rep my phone to put the SIM card in it, as instructed over the phone by the Verizon rep who was helping me activate a new line. And the dude in the store put in my account that I was activating the new line with a MOTOROLA. I honestly don't think this was a mistake at all. He had the phone IN HIS HAND. It's a OnePlus 13R. By him putting the wrong phone into my account it prevented my number from successfully porting out. I had to call Verizon support and spend HOURS on the phone with them to get it resolved. And the second time I went there with a billing issue Barry straight up told me there was nothing he could do other than have Verizon give me a call back. This was AFTER speaking to Verizon twice that day. The first time they just hung up on me, and made no attempt to call me back. And the second time I was on the phone with them for like 40 minutes and they just put me on hold and left me there! And then I get here and Barry makes NO effort to help me in any way. At least they acknowledged me when I walked in this time?? They first time multiple reps ignored myself AND two other customers who walked into the store. So gross. This is two of 25 negative experiences I've had with Verizon since I signed up in May, and this is why I've left Verizon and you could not pay me to go back. Verizon services have grown horrible. I trie dto call the local version store where I recently purchase a new phone. However, Verison now answers their customers with AI and after the 1st AI genius acknowledged I wanted to speak with customer service, instead of transferring me to customer service it sent me to a second useless AI genius. And this is TRUE! When the second AI finally acknowledged I wanted customer service they sent me to a THIRD AI!!!! Has Version lost it's mind? I have been on the phone now for 20 minutes and have spoken to one person from a phone bank likely in India and still have not reached someone who can help me. NOT GOOD! Still listening to music. I was going setup an account and purchased a phone online but the hubby convinced me that it would be easier to do it in store. I wanted to open a new line and possibly get a new phone after seeing the promotion online that states you can trade in any old iPhone in any condition for a $1000 credit on the 15 pro. I wanted to trade in my iPhone 4s after verifying on the website that it qualifies but the representative that assist me said that that my phone doesn't qualify and has to be a more recent model to qualify even though I showed him the page where it says my phone is qualify. He also gave wrong information on the different Verizon plans. For example he said the unlimited plus offers 50gb of high speed hot spot data and the ultimate offers 100gb which is not true. The 100gb is addon and the plus only offers 30 gb of high speed hotspot data. Anyways I'm doing my purchased online without a hassle and my iPhone 4s trade in is accepted. this is all the more reason why I avoid doing transaction in store. read more

Ray -Store Manager and Berry - Agent Worst customer service nationwide. These two people need some customer service training and some skills. They feel entitled to the job. Rude Manager, Rude Agent. They should not represent Verizon. That's a shame to have employees like this. If you are not at the store to buy a phone or get a line, and no commission is involved, they won't help you. They technically told me I could leave Verizon if I wanted to. I was so lovely and professional. I was asking to be helped and provide some options. But they decided to tell me that I could leave Verizon if I was not happy and more disappointed that only took 10 minutes to get what I wanted and got it resolved in a phone call directly with Verizon. But the difference is that Verizon Customer service phone line is there for customers and is willing to help customers. I was the proud owner of a new Samsung, S8 phone, shortly after they came out on the market in April 2017. There were features I loved, but the longer I had it, it seemed to have some weird problems, too. For instance, it would overheat. The battery seemed to need charging far more frequently than advertised. And, strangely, my reception was not nearly as good as my husbands older S5, even when we were in the exact same location. This called for action. Twice I complained about these things (at another store), I was given a song and dance, and nothing was fixed. It wasn't until I visited this store that Ayne (pronounced eye-nay) took me under her wing and made things right. I now have a new Sim card and a new phone, it was still under warranty. All fixed, she even re-synced it up to my Honda once I realized I was too techie challenged to figure it all out. This young lady gave me undivided attention, exceptional service, took the time to show me some additional tricks, and even reviewed our current phone plan and found ways to get a better plan, yet save us about $30/month with their current specials. She is a great asset to this company and to this store. read more

I went into the store to upgrade my phone and take advantage of the new Samsung s23 ultra trade in deal. The employee tells me I can't trade in my old IPhone and I have to change my current plan. I tell him that doesn't make sense because my mom just did the exact same deal without changing her plan and she is on my account. The employee than tells me that's the way it is. I used to work in cell phones so I understand when the company wants people to get off old phone plans they have employees try to upsell the new plans but instead of trying to force me to change my plan learn how to upsell the new plans. On May 18, 2023 I came to this store desperate for competent help. I had trouble setting up my Apple Watch and iphone with Verizon telephone support. My call was sent overseas and the tech people waisted 6 hours of my productive work day over two days. The told me I could take a Businss line, transfer the business calls to my Apple Watch and forward to my cell. The land line is $27 extra a month just to transfer calls Tech could not get the voice mail to work or the forwarding to work as promised it was a waste of lot of time. Finally fed up I drove to the Corona store on Griffen Way and the manager along with a young man named Art worked tirelessly and got it all working. But I could not answer the Appele watch i any more. There was no incentive to sell me anything at this store. Just trouble shoot until the problem solved. I received excellent customer service and therefore this store deserves 5 stars. Today I called Verizon and reversed the whole process since I did not want a stand alone Apple Watch phone that would not sync to my cell phone . The Corona store was extremely had working and attentive. They did get the job done that the oversees techs could not do. We did find some limitations though. I promised them 5 stars and they deserve it. This store cares about existing customers. Some of the telephone support folks are pretty bad and if you get disconnected forget a call back from oversees tech. As a Verizon stock holder that bothers me. My 5 star rating for this store remains. The whole Verizon service has really gone from average to bad. Today I got a good level 2 tech. Overseas help has been poor. read more

All great at this location! Came in today to change my plan to their unlimited plan! So happy! I was immediately greeted by a customer rep to assure my place in line for service. I didn't wait more than 10min before I was greeted by a assistant Jackie. She wrote down my new plan versus my old and I said big!!! I've been a Verizon customer since they were Air-touch. They truly do have great coverage and customer service. Kyle another rep was very pleasant and helpful with my new car phone charger. They come with a 1yr warranty and it comes in Rose Gold like my IPhone 7. In all excellent customer service and all the employees kept up with a great attitude. As time passed it did become crowded in there with everyone changing plans BUT all the employees kept it positive and efficient as possible to keep all the customers feeling welcomed. This review is for Verizon in general, but this store on Limonite was the worst. About a year ago, my iPad wouldn't charge. I went to this store, and it was a nightmare. The iPad was under warranty so it was replaced free. I was also told my flip phone would stop soon working as it was out of date. Who knew? I almost got a smart phone, until I was told I should stick with what I know! Unfortunately, I was talked into an Orbic phone. It's the WORST PHONE I've ever had in over 25 years, with Verizon, formerly Airtouch. After seven visits to three different Verizon stores, it was finally working. My contacts were transferred over, but only half of them, and everyone was in duplicate. No one cared, until I drove to the Verizon store in South Corona at Cajalco. They were the only ones who helped. The list of problems with this phone is endless. The caller ID disappears daily. The volume goes down or off on its own. Etc, etc. I hate this phone. I went in for a Gizmo Watch. It was quiet a quick visit and great customer service. The only one thing is that they ordered a blue watch when I wanted pink. They didn't ask nor did I mentioned it. If there is was a less than one star I would choose it. At 8am yesterday me and my husbands cell phones could not make or receive calls, as well as texts. When calling Verizon they send you through to tech support, we were on the phone with tech support tier one and two yesterday for 7 hours, spoke to 6 different people that could not figure out why everything else worked on our phones except for the calls or texts. We spoke to a Tech Coach and she advised it maybe a Sim Card issue, so we tried the electronic sim card and that didnt work, so she said go to the store. So we went to the Corona Crossing store, they installed a new sim card and still it did not work. I brought a back out phone just in case it would take longer than a day to fix. Once they installed the sim card, the new phone did the exact same thing, no calls or texts. Each time we spoke to someone we had to start from the beginning because no one read the notes. Sitting in the Corona store, the rep called tech support and after 2 hours she could not figure out the problem either but would submit a ticket that would take 7-9 days before someone would work on it. So I asked if they had phones we could use until ours are fixed, they said no that we just have to wait until they resolve the issue within Verizon. Im absolutely baffled, after nearly 10 hours, severl techs and still no resolve, no attempt to resolve other than submitting a ticket that takes over a week. The sim card was put back in my phone, not activated because it was too late and they are already closed, then sent on my way with my situation worse than it was when I went into the store. I asked the Manager how do you remedy a situation where the problem lies within Verizon and not the customer. He said well I have no authority to give you a loner phone, we can only provide technical support for walk ins and sell new phones. Now its Friday the next day the phones are still not working, we've been on the phone for another few hours and still no resolve. Its a very helpless feeling when the service you pay for is not providing service and there is nothing you can do about it other than going to a different service. It's absolutely unbelievable that out of 12 people in tech support and 2 in customer service NO ONE resolved the issue. I should have read the reviews before I came and tried to switch servers. The customer service here is HORRIBLE like everyone has already stated. We were here for 3 and a half hours and left with no phones. We were already charged and rung up for 2 iPads , 2 new iPhones, and last minute before they were about to close, they said that monthly plan was not going through. Everything on our account was perfect as they said, but they did not know why the system would not allow it. They called multiple places, left them on hold for hours. Transferred almost 6 times. Very disappointed in this location, we went on Saturday to buy a new phone it was a 45 minute wait, the manager suggested to make a appointment and come back so he set it up for Sunday at 1:00pm. We showed up and they told us that they were going to lunch at 1:00 we could come back in 45 minutes if we wanted to. so my question is why did they set an appointment if they were not gonna be available for it? very disappointed. obviously there is no respect for anybody's time anymore.! read more

This complaint is for Verizon itself, not this particular store. I never like to give bad reviews but when they are due, I have no choice. My son decided to change carriers before he shipped out for the military. Thinking Verizon would be a better fit with coverage especially since he didn't know where he'd be shipped after bootcamp. Long story short. He bought a new phone. Bought insurance. His phone ended up getting stolen. Insurance wouldn't pay because it was turned off. Have sent numerous letters, complaints, and bottom line is they just don't care! My son had to leave with a broken old phone because they wouldn't help. I'm telling you, save your money. Everytime I visit this store to buy products, I get ripped off. The first time I came to this store to buy AirPods. I was told this store would offer me the best price. I spent almost $250. Then the following week I saw at Best Buy the AirPods were going for $179. The second time I came to this store to update my phone and buy another phone, I was told my phones would be shipped in-store per Chase at this location. Also, I was asked to sign a new line contract which I did. The phones were never shipped to the store and were shipped to my house while I was at work and could not be present to sign for it. I never got my phones. I called to ask if they can be shipped in store. Instead, they got cancelled. Then I got billed for having a new line when I never had phones to use. I called and submitted a ticket asking for a refund. Instead it was denied and I never received a call back from Verizon when it was stated I would. I spoke with the manager and he said there was nothing he could do and didn't offer any additional help. read more
