Great place, it's my go to for an oil change. I can always find a coupon online or via the mail which brings down the already low prices.

I wish there were zero stars. We took my car in for an oil change in late in November and my husband got under the car today to change it again (no one has been under the car since SpeeDee), and there was a distinct KNIFE SLICE through the boot that was spraying grease on the underside of the car, all over the exhaust. It was the only boot accessible, directly next to the oil pan, which is where they were working. After this experience and seeing other similar reviews, it's clear that this is a crooked shop and has terrible mechanics, just looking to trick people to come back in the door. AVOID at all costs - save the money and damage risk to your car and change your oil yourself. Updated: he tagged my oil pan with the name Carlos and his "employee number" on our receipt says "69.,,,," so whoever they've hired that did this is messed up, and we'll find out. read more

I used to love this place. Their base oil change is a good deal but their oil change for new cars is super expensive. They also don't honor competitor coupons. The customer service/front desk used to be so much better/nicer. I emailed corporate to help them with no response. I will say they have always been very honest and the workers are nice guys. They also get you out quickly and don't upset too much. However one time I made a mistake on smog and they only gave me 10 off for a 2nd one. From 5 stars to 2.5. I would rec them for base oil change only. read more

Oil changed on my 2500 Dodge Cummins. The next day backed out and found about a 1/2 quart of oil on my drive way. When the technician changed the filter he dumped the the old oil and failed to clean it. So now I have a huge oil stain on my my drive way and a bunch of oil to clean on the bottom of the truck. When I called the manager Gerardo (?) all I got was an "oh well" response. Follow up: it appeared corporate responded to my review. As of 11/1/19 no contact. read more

My car was a hot mess & I brought it to these guys and they fixed it in 2 days with the most honest pricing and consistent communication. The front desk (Katie?) is awesome, Gerardo lead me through the process, and after fully servicing my car- JP got me new wiper blades for free! I spent a lot of money getting this car working again & Im happy to have spent every cent with them! Also its worth noting that as a single mom I'm used to have to having my defenses up around mechanics and I did not have to do that here. This is actually 0 stars..i was in the area and i went and got my oil change in mid Oct..customer service was pleasant..i wasnt even in the waiting room for not very long which i thought was very odd..i went to go visit my grandparents over the Thanksgiving holiday and oil was checked..was dirty..oil cannot possibly get dirty little over month..oil was never changed..i will not be returning to this place again. read more

We recently took a car here and spent $1200 on repairs. We don't have an issue with the cost or brake work/tire replacement. However, when we picked up the car (after hours) the air conditioner was no longer working. That may just be chance but I'm disappointed that they wouldn't take a quick look, to confirm the extremely coincidental/bad timing and verify that it wasn't something someone bumped or impacted it in the course of the other repairs (especially given the dollar amount already spent in their shop). Their only comment was that nothing they would have done would have impacted the air so any type of inspection would be at the normal rate. We definitely will go elsewhere in the future. read more

I called twice to find out the cost for an oil and filter change and how long it would be. I told them the exact make and model of my car, I was told it would be About $100. When I got there, now they tell about two more quarts of oil for $26 and the filter for $25, but the wait would still be 30 minutes. Over and hour later my car was done. $150! Absurd! read more

Went in for an oil change. James was super nice and he even complimented the Baymax in my car!! It took a little bit longer than expected because I ended up purchasing a new air filter. One thing I noticed was the manager JP was super rude and aggressive to the two girls who worked up front. Won't be coming back for that reason only. Hope you guys find new management. read more

I had a good experiance. Heres my problem. I had my oil changed on the 18th of September, and here I am on the 26th looking at my 2016 Jeeps oil change warning. I thought it was odd they used a honda filter, but I told myself they know what they are doing.... I am beginning to think they didnt do anything to my car except wipe it down. I want either my money back, or them to actually change my oil. This isnt cool, I dont have a million dollars in the bank. I dont have just another 85 dollars to throw away somewhere else. Had an appointment at 9:00am but told me it would be 2 to 3 hours minimum. What is the purpose of making an appointment then? The mechanic was so Fricken rude and even though I had a error code given to me on a receipt by a legit Jiffy Lube, and he told me that they still needed to do a diagnostics. I understood that, but the manner in which he presented it was to me was in rude and sheister manner and made it look as if I had no other choice. The poor girl at the front knew nothing about customer service and needs more training on how to treat their customers instead of having to run to a mechanic to someone to ask a simple question. Going to this place was a waste of my time and was treated so rudely by the mechanic that people should be aware of this type of offensive mannerism towards any potential customers. I have been coming here for years to service my 2011 Nissan Altima and 2008 AcuraMdx. I come for everything not just my oil change. GERARDO is amazing he has assisted with battery problems in my Acura and a faulty sensor that caused my check engine light to always come on in my Nissan. My most recent interaction I needed a tail light replaced for a rental car I was renting.. I did not want to go through insurance and deal with my $1000 deductible so I went to Gerardo he made a phone call and was able to get me the tail light and have it installed in less than 45 mins. THEY STOLE FROM MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had them replace my car battery and locked the doors before I handed them the keys. When I come back to check on the job I find the mechanics gathered around giggling like school girls. I found several items missing after the job was done! I thought to update my review as I thought at first my service was great! Until I heard a rattling sound and had to get my car checked. Once I would start my car and slowly back out of my parking spot, I would hear a faint rattling sound. I asked my boyfriend to check it out and he said that I might need an oil change. I told him that I had my oil change the end of September but he insisted to get it checked as he's heard that sound before on his old car. When I got my car checked, it turned out that my oil filter wasn't on tight enough and my oil was black. I told him that I had my oil done at this location and that I had purchased synthetic oil as my car has over 100K miles. He showed me that my oil is burnt and that they possibly didn't use a good grade of oil for my car. I'm disappointed that I paid around $80 (for what I remember) for an oil change and a little over a month I had to change my oil again (when typically I change my oil every 3-4 months; depending on how much I drive). Went there for an oil change and seems quick enough...faster than I can do it. The lady in the counter tried to charge me more than their advertised price, but was able to catch it before I gave her my card. She just gave me a sheepish grin, like it was an honest mistake. That's fine. Their guys, mostly Spanish speaking men were not really friendly, they show irritation when you ask them something, like you are wasting their time or something. They just give you curt answers that are not even the answers to your questions. Maybe because they are talking to one another in Spanish while they talk to you like you are nothing. Awesome!! Come here! Don't drive further ! November 2014, my vehicle was sputtering as if no fuel was reaching the engine. My guess was my fuel pump was going out and needed it to be replaced.... ( I was right) I barely made it to spee dee oil on a late Saturday afternoon. I asked the mechanic ( Jesus) if he could confirm my assumption of a faulty fuel pump and he quickly did. I approved a pump and filter be replaced as well as an oil change and needed my vehicle on the road for work by Monday morning. That's what I received , unfortunately due to faulty parts from a manufacturer my vehicle was performing poorly only 2 weeks later. Not in the Elk Grove area I had to be towed to the closest mechanic shop and they determined I had a bad fuel pump. It didn't occur to me that this was possible since I just had the pump replaced , but I immediately contacted the Elk Grove store and asked what my options were. The manager advised he had a sister store in my location that he could ask if they could perform the repairs. The other store did and determined the original part was not working , in addition to the old part not working the Elk Grove manger " JP" authorized a better more sufficient pump that cost me nothing to upgrade. After a few days of repairs from the store in my area I drove my vehicle home and it runs better than ever. I brought up the issue and inconvenience of the repairs being performed twice and dealing with the scheduling of a tow truck to the manger at the Elk Grove store, he wrote me a personal check for the expenses I paid for the separate diagnostic fee and the tow truck fee , over $200.00. The dedication of the craftsmanship and personal customer service was enough for me to write this review .... In lite of many others on yelp before me I would bring my vehicles back to this location and give this team a chance to prove themselves to the hard working people of the community they serve. After having to make a stop at the shop in Elk Grove, we were impressed by the service and welcoming nature of this team. Another Midas did a poor job with our tires, and although he wasn't required to do so, Justin went above and beyond checking us out. He found the problem, checked out our other tires, and did a quick torque check in the lug nuts. While we watched, another employee even cleaned the windshield! This was all performed with no payment to these guys, and while they had other jobs. Was impressed with the service, and would definitely recommend Justin and the team. Thanks! read more

I have given this company my business for over 16 years. They are not the cheapest around, but they are close and I have had great experiences. I sent my 16 year old daughter there and explained to them all we wanted done. Well, they ripped her off. Took our money and the car is still broken and the check engine light is still on! They never got the light to go off. They laughed and said taking advantage of women is what they do. I don't think that is funny and I wish my daughter would not be ripped off, just because she is a girl. Terrible! I contacted the manager and he does not care. He says it is not his job to get a check engine light off and has no idea what is wrong wiWe will never go back! Update: I got the comment below and they followed up. I was told I would get a 100% refund and they would ensure this does not happen again. Nope! Never happened. Never got a check or a return call after. Too bad. Came in today for an oil change. I received fast friendly service. They vacuumed my car and cleaned the windows. The waiting room is clean and the chairs are comfy. I used the Yelp coupon and saved 10 bucks. 29.99 isn't too bad....I stopped at another place and was quoted 50$! I am not paying 50$ for an oil change. I will probably come here from now on. Been taking the a 2014 Chevrolet Impala there for the last five year. The faces change but the service has always been great. There are plenty of retail services within the complex to kill time while you're waiting for your vehicle although I've never had to wait very long for them to complete work. Don't normally leave reviews, especially when I actually didn't get my truck serviced today. I was told by Gerrardo that my Titan wasn't actually due for a tune up for another 20k miles. He could have easily just done the tune up and taken my money but in a time where honesty is in short supply he showed a lot of class and integrity. To top it off my wife's battery died in the parking lot as she was waiting to give me a ride home. As I had the hood up to make sure it wasn't something else he comes running back with equipment to jump the battery and get her home. I am definitely appreciative of excellent service especially when we weren't technically customers. But in the future we will for sure take our vehicles here if this is any indication of the service they provide. read more

After many years going to another oil change provider, I am sold on this one. Super efficient and what I really like, is that they don't try and sell you on a variety of other services. You get what you want without a lot of haggling. The prices are fair and the staff- super friendly. I went in once, and didn't realize they were closing. It was a Friday, and I was going out of town.
