I didn't have time to wait around and asked the worker inside whether it was okay I come back with my receipt for my refund and he said YES. Now I return on June 19 at 11AM to receive the refund and he is telling me that his system didn't report that anyone needed a refund yesterday..... it was a system reboot.. why would anything following a complete power outage report anything reliable? He also proceeded to tell me that they were not at a cash surplus yesterday after compeleting the check out . Also that he could not check the cameras after 2 hours .. That is a bold face lie . I am a loyal customer and have been patronizing them for years but as others have said the customer service has not been the same . I may look young but I am not a child to be spoken to like that. I'm sure if I was a man I would have received a refund . All that for $8?! It isn't even about the money anymore but the principle . All this disrespect to try and get off on an unfortunate situation for all . I will never come here again . And I assure that the $8 would've have been better served in good faith than a lie. The food here is usually hot, but I never notice because I'm usually not the kind of person to grab their food. I come here to grab the occasional snacks and late-night purchases I would otherwise need but grab in the morning. It's a spot thats open 24/7 which has saved me countless times before. The employees are your typical employees, no one really "cares" about the job. The location on Forest Avenue is run by a family and you can tell the difference in quality. Overall, I notice that the coffee is changed quite often and that they are usually stocked with the essentials. More often than night I find myself here just grabbing items I missed from the grocery store, and overall I have to say that even though it's not the nicest location on the Island, it's by far one of the better ones I've experienced.
