Brownish Tint ( looks more brown in person )

I went in last Friday for regular 5% tint only on my passenger side window . When it was done inside the shop it looked fine no brown . But as I got home I noticed the tint was brown . I called the store the next day and they told me that it was normal and it's just the adhesive curing in to give it a few days . Now come today Wednesday and it's still brown I called in again and I asked them about it and they told me that's how the tint color is and I explained to the employee this should of been mentioned to me in the beginning because as you can see in the photo my other tints are not brown . Not only that the employee said it was ceramic tint , I never asked for ceramic I wanted regular . This was never mentioned to me when I first walked in to get my tint . When I asked if he can replace it he just denied to replace it and said it wasn't their fault . Now I've been back and forth calling with both Downey & bellflower location to see if they're able to replace and fix the tint but it just seems like they don't want to help . I have another car that I took here 3 yrs ago and it was ceramic tint and it was never a brown color for the tint on the inside . I understand they might have changed their tint or something but they should have let me know that the new tint was going to be a different color than my other tints I have already on my car. On top of that when I called the bellflower location they said " to pay for the other windows in my car to get tinted the same as my new one that I just put on there "

I had a wonderful experience! Robert reached out to me immediately, which was very reassuring. When we arrived, the female staff member was already prepared and welcomed us warmly. She kindly explained the differences between the options like 20%, 5%, and others. We still felt a bit unsure, but then another staff member kindly stepped in and offered some helpful suggestions, which really helped us feel confident in our choice. We did 20% ceramic all around, 50% front windshield. We ended up visiting the Bellflower location.

Went in not sure what percent i wanted. The girl at the front desk was helpful, I think her name was Andrea. She Gave me a bunch of examples and i was able to make an educated decision after. Nice that they accept walk in's. I waited 2 hours to get all my windows tinted and it looks amazing. Def recommend

I was looking for a place to get my Tesla Model Y tinted. I wanted ceramic film. I saw this place on Instagram. So I walked in today Monday. Jonathan took care of me and explained to me the process and warranty. Gave me the quote and I went for it. It was a 3hr process along side his co worker. I just walked it to the Stonewood Mall and kill some time. Just a heads up, cash is king! Make sure to take cash to avoid paying taxes. They do have an ATM. I showed him the Instagram promotion they have going on about a discount but it wasn't granted. No biggie. Maybe next time when I take my second vehicle.

Good service and friendly staff. Brought my 93 civic VX in for some much needed tint in this hot Socal weather. I opted for 15% ceramic all the way around. Work came out great. Door panels and hatch hardware removed in order to get the tint all the into the crevices for a more finished look. Nothing was damaged and there were no bubbles after the install. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for nice tint at a good price. I will also be coming back for ceramic tint on the windshield after I get it replaced tomorrow!

I purchased a Groupon for this business which claimed it was good for full tint removal on an SUV for $119. When I called to make an appointment the employee was shocked that I had a Jeep Cherokee and expected to get my tint removed for $119 with a Groupon. Tried to say it would be $80 more to get it done so I canceled the Groupon and will get it done elsewhere. Don't waste your money here. And before "Robert" comments here claiming the Groupon is clear about what it covers, it is not. See the image attached. This is an obvious bait and switch. Any place that is okay with this is not trustworthy, or worthy of your business.

Very nice employee/owner helped me with my tint selection on my Prius Prime. I went back and forth on tint level selection maybe about 5 times because I was conceded about the darkness level. At the end to help me (and him) solve the dilemma of what tint level to get, the employee/owner had me look through a real tint and that helped me decide that 5% ceramic tint was not horrible. Also the service was fast and the AC in the waiting room was blowing nice and cold. read more

Had windows tinted. Price was fair and they offer lifetime warranty. The team did an "okay" job. The establishment and service was subpar. Was unable to pay with card due to the machine being "broken". Was forced to pay cash, venmo, or Zelle. Waiting room consisted of tore up leather couches and an empty vending machine with a small TV. The shop where the car was being worked on was not well kept. Finally, the staff screwed on a license plate cover with their branding as advertisement without asking for permission. Glad to have the car tinted, but would not recommend this business. read more

You get what you pay for. Are there couple tiny bubbles in the tint? Yes Was it around 60 dollars cheaper than the competitors? Also yes On a serious note, the owner is solid from what I experienced. Had couple car problems such as twitchy locks and couple lights on the dash after visiting but someone fixed the locks on the spot but not the dash light. I also noticed more rattling in the doors after I had the tint installed but I contacted the owner and he said bring it in, Haven't had a chance to do so but will update the review once I have. read more

This place was one of 5 places near me that gave me quotes. The owner Robert gave me a quote and i decided to try this place. I made an appointment using their website and arrived and was greeted by Jonathan. My original quote was for my 23 honda accord to tint the 4 windows and the rear window. I decided instead to get ceramic tint on all the windows including. I asked them to do a chrome delete. I dropped off the car at noon and they said it would be done before closing time. They ended up completing my car at 330 pm the same day. I am very pleased with the job. The customer service was great. I had some questions and Jonathan was very knowledgeable and even helped to educate me about the different products and the benefits they offered. The tint has a lifetime guarantee. Everything looks great but i need them to check out one of the windows due to minor bubbling at the base of the rear passenger window about the size of a quarter. Im sure it will be an easy fix. I plan to bring my other car here to get some tint on it as well. Thanks! read more

I was in the Downy area for a few days and randomly made an appointment to get my windows tinted on my Hyundai Veloster. I received a quote from their website the night before my appointment, and I was given the same price the day I arrived for my appointment. The team was super helpful on what tint worked well with my car, and they were super quick with the service. It only took them an hour and 15 minutes. Highly recommend! read more

Beware - BAIT & SWITCH I ordered a Groupon for tinting for all windows for a sedan or coupe. I spoke several times to Mohammed, the facility manager regarding tinting for my car. I informed him that I had a Groupon covering tinting for entire car. He assured me that my Groupon would cover everything. I made an appointment. When I arrived he told me that the Groupon only covered the rear windows. There would be an extra charge of over $300, for the driver, passenger, and windshield???!! I explained that when we spoke that the Groupon covered everything. He kept saying, " I'm not trying to scam you, but you are only entitled to what you paid, not the Groupon value. If you don't like the price go elsewhere. Not feeling comfortable with Mohammed, or wanting to spend an extra $300 plus, in addition to the Groupon. I told him that I will take my business elsewhere and canceled the transaction. read more

Great value for ceramic window tinting. The owner was very responsive on Yelp and gave me a quote. Lack of appointment /scheduling is a huge downside. I was told by the owner 2-3 hours roughly for walk in, but ended up waiting 5 hours to get my windows tinted on a Friday afternoon (11am-4pm). The tech working on my car took great car of my car and did a pretty good job. Quality of install was 3 out 5. Leftover tint hanging off, some dust and bubbling trapped underneath (after 2 weeks), some trash left on the floor when I picked it up and tint does not extend to the top edge of the window (I don't like that, but it's not a big deal). The windshield bubbling is VERY annoying because it always looks like the windshield is dirty when driving. I got all windows+windshield tinted with ceramic for $395, but they forgot to write down my front windshield tint on the receipt so I'm worried they won't honor the warranty if I go back in the future. Overall it's a good place. I would recommend them to anybody looking to get a quick tint for a good price. Not a place I would recommend if you are looking for perfection. read more

Had both my cars tinted here prices are reasonable and they are fast.. only gripe I have is the water marks left behind on all of my door cards from the installation. Also not sure what they had sitting on my front leather seat that left indentation marks on my perforated leather. Took a whole day for them to go away, again no harm no foul but certainly something that needs to be payed attention to. read more

The car looks great with the tint - had my windshield and other windows all tinted. The owner always responded back to my questions timely and with respect. Not to mention, the value was great - was cheaper than most areas I found, but that's because the film used isn't ceramic. However, it's still a good quality film. Only reason why a star was taken away was since even when my car was finished with the tinting, they didn't call me. Instead, I had to walk over there myself and found out that the car was already done - if they had called me when the car was finished I could have saved myself around a hour of waiting. Other than that, I would recommend Speedy Auto Tint. read more

I was looking online for a place to install aftermarket taillights on my civic and came across this shop. Yelp AI actually recommended them to me, so I decided to stop by for a free estimate. I expected a fair quote for a relatively simple job--at most, removing some trunk paneling. To my surprise, they quoted me $190 for the installation. That felt excessive considering this is a pretty basic install that mainly involves unscrewing a few clips and bolts. I've done light car work before, and I knew this wasn't something highly technical or time-consuming. I mentioned that other places quoted me slightly over $100, and at that point, I figured I'd rather just do it myself. It felt like the difficulty of the job was being exaggerated, and the price didn't reflect the actual labor involved. To be clear, I'm not rating them 1 star because I didn't go through with the service, and I'm not trying to harm the business. This review is mostly to inform others to expect significantly higher pricing here, at least in my experience. Overpricing may vary shop to shop, but I think transparency and fairness in quotes is something customers value--especially when comparison shopping.

I took in my Honda accord a couple days ago to get it tinted and the work was fine just the customer service here sucks. After the guy told me it would be ready in 3 hours, I left and came back and to my surprise it was not even touched yet. The middle eastern guy gave me HORRIBLE attitude. I left and came back after 1 hour and 40 minutes and when I arrived my car was still not done! I wasted so much time and they refused to give me a discount nor did I get an apology rather the middle eastern guy told the other guy charge him so he gets the F out of here. Very unprofessional place. They also left stains on my door panels and the guy said it was nothing when the stains were very visible. People like this make customers not want to go to these businesses. The middle eastern guy's customer service deserves 0 stars. NEVER coming back! read more

I got my car tinted at this shop with good work but terrible customer service from the Middle Eastern guy. He has such a horrible attitude towards his customers. After showing him a few mistakes I saw with the tint he put on my car he refused to fix it and ignored when I talked to him. The other two guys were awesome ! If you don't like your job you should switch careers. Never coming again. If you like being treated poorly this is the place. read more

I went with the 3M ceramic IR film with 50% for the front windshield and 15% all around. It makes a huge difference for blocking out sunlight and heat from entering the 4Runner. I like that it's dark enough for privacy, but not too dark that you can't see at night. As for the front windshield, I appreciate that it's tinted enough to block out the sun and not too dark that other drivers can't see me.
