First and last time we will be coming here. Food tastes great but service was slow and the worst dining in experience ever! One of the dishes I ordered was unbearably spicy it was unedible (steamed fish meal). There was no spicy level indication on the menu at all. So I asked for them to remake it a lot less spicy. I felt bad but the waitress takes the food back like normal. 10mins later she tells me they're remaking it but they're going to charge me double the meal without asking me first! I told her to cancel the whole thing but they're still going to charge me. So I asked for the food back... took another 20mins to get my original food back (and that's with me asking where the food is) lol. I've never had food service like this. Will not return. read more

My quality test for any Thai food restaurant is how is their panang beef. I like my panang beef on the soupy not thick. I also like that there should be plenty of beef and it should be cubed and tender. Spice It Ups panang beef passed on the soupiness of it and the other ingredients, but there was very very little beef in their panang and it contained tiny cut up pieces not big cubes of tender beef. If you order the Penang beef from here you might want to make sure to add plenty of extra beef. I'm talking lots of extra beef. read more

Yummmmmm!! I struggle to find good Thai and this is one of the best in Stockton...I love the pad Thai, papaya salad, pineapple fried rice, the curry. And end it with the sticky rice and mngo...no you cannot eat this all, they have huge servings, share your dishes for sure!!! The interior is a little plain, but I enjoy myself every time I come to eat here! This restaurant does not play when it comes to spice! I should've known walking in by the logo (two big chili peppers) and the name of course. It was pretty busy today on a Sunday but the restaurant was very clean and spacious. There was Thai/Laos music playing and decor here and there which was inviting. We were served by Sarah and she was extremely kind and helpful. I didn't mind the wait because you can tell the food was prepared fresh. My table got the pad see ew, drunken noodle, naam kao, pineapple fried rice, papaya salad, and sweet and sour fish. I think for some of the dishes, we ruined it because we couldn't tolerate the spice level we chose so I would go less spicy next time. But overall, the sweet and sour fish and drunken noodle were my favorite. I would recommend the Thai iced coffee and desserts (mango sticky rice and forbidden rice) here too, to cleanse your palette from all the spice! read more

Wow, I really did not expect for this place to be as delicious and amazing as it was. It was so good that I didn't even take the time to take a picture of our food because my fiance and I were so hungry and eager to eat it all haha. But believe me...it looked just as good as it tasted. I ordered the Laos sausage with sticky rice and since the lady knew I was fulfilling an Angel Cruz Park craving, she suggested the papaya salad and I am so glad I listened because wow, the best combo ever! My fiancé had their coconut galangal or Tom kha kai soup and although it was different from our other usual Thai restaurant in SoCal, he absolutely loved it. We also tried their beef spring roll with avocado which I was also suspicious about because I've never had it with avocado before but it was delicious as well! Wow. We luckily stumbled onto this restaurant on the way home and the food was just amazing. We got the Red curry with sticky rice, beef salad, and spicy wings. All were great. Came here 2 times so far and experienced super long wait times for both visits. Both times, we waited approx 15 mins before we got water and our order taken and another 45 mins for food. Our most recent visit, we ended just getting one of our dishes packed to go because it never made it out of the kitchen before we were done eating the other dishes they managed to bring out first. Fresh ingredients and excellent service! Most of everything tasted great, especially the texture of the noodles. Love that they offer Laos or Thai style papaya salad. My only suggestion to the restaurant would be their Lao Chicken Noodle (Kao Pbiek) soup/broth was under seasoned and almost too low in sodium; it was too bland for my liking. Wanted to try a new place out. Read reviews on Yelp & came here during lunch hour. Only one other party. The place is nice. Just one area by the front entrance that was kinda abandoned. Server was very kind. There was another woman that was very sweet. Probably the owner.. Food: We ordered a few items. I really enjoyed the food. Flavors were on spot. Not overly salty or spicy. Sticky rice was a little too small. To save it for every bite I grabbed little by little. But if you were to eat it at a regular bite size it'll probably be 3-4 times only. As for Angel Wings, we were quite disappointed. It wasn't stuffed wings. Just regular wings marinated in a delicious sauce. We were really hoping for stuffed wings. Maybe change the name on the menu? Bbq pork was good. My kiddo liked it. Very flavorful. We also got papaya to go. It wasn't as good as I thought. Very light in color & not very much flavor. But everything else was on spot! If you receive a cautionary warning about the spice level, heed it. The spicy was a nice delicious burn. Tried the steamed fish (moke pba) as it seemed quite popular. Glad we tried it. The special fried rice (with tofu) was actually one of the finest ones I have had. It didn't feel okay a supporting role at all and had enough bite to stand strong on its own. Drunken noodles were very tasty. The Kao pboon was very generous and featured tender shreds of chicken and sweet coconut broth.
