My go to place for Indian Food in Parker. Located on Mainstreet near Fika Coffee. There's limited parking in the front, but plenty behind. The service is friendly. The atmosphere and music is nice. The food is really good. My favorites are the Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Garlic Naan and a Mango Lassi. My husband enjoys the Chai Tea. Parker has a true hidden gem of a restaurant with Spice Kitchen. I recently "discovered" this while driving my kid to the PACE center down Main Street and thought it would be fun to try with my family. I honestly believe it was the best high quality Indian cuisine I've ever had. Our table shared a vegetable samosa, onion bhaji, tandoori chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken korma, and a lamb saag. It was all perfection. The seasoning of each dish was separate and distinct - this is sometimes not true in other places I've been - I read they source their spices from India and Nepal and you can honestly tell it's very quality ingredients used. The onion bhaji were shaped in a patty instead of a round clump which surprised me but holy crap they were probably the best bhaji I've ever had. Service was attentive and friendly - we arrived at 530 and were really happy to see it completely full by the time we left after our meal. All of us at our table liked the decore - it felt upscale but approachable and the lanterns were really cool. Please try this place - it deserves all the customers it welcomes! read more

Wow! My wife and I love Indian food, and this place is delicious!!! Heads up, there is NO lunch menu, so we actually split a $20 combo meal on the last page of the menu with Tikka Masala Chicken, Naan, and an app for almost the same price as a single dinner order of Tikka Masala. Honestly, it didn't matter. I can't wait for my leftovers, because this place is AMAZING! Just be careful when you park, because my buddy cut his tire trying to parallel park on the drainage grate. Excellent food and excellent service! The server was very nice and attentive and never let our glasses of water run out. *Samosas- good portion size (2 large in order) with a little nudge of spice. A little salty, but it paired very well with the sauces that were on the side. *Fried paneer- (new item for me) very crisp coating with good flavor. However, i'd pick samosas if i had to make a choice of the two. But I'm partial to samosas. *Chicken Korma- we ordered it mild and it was delicious. I think I would order a little spice next time. We shared it and still took half home. * Garlic naan stuffed with cheddar cheese- large portion, perfect for sharing. It was very tasty, but i'd stick with regular garlic naan next time. I really want to love Spice Kitchen. I was so excited about them moving in to downtown Parker, but when you put it up against Parker's longtime Indian food champion India's Kitchen, it's still pretty good, but it's not better than the champion. Spice Kitchen has one of the best locations in downtown Parker, and it's still a great addition to our downtown. It's a little more upscale inside than India's Kitchen (classical music on the speakers instead of sports on the TVs), and it shows on the prices on the menu (I'm sure their rent is significantly higher so that's fair to me). The prices are similar to nearby Indochine's, but they're a few dollars higher than you'd expect. In terms of food, I just didn't love the flavors here. It seemed a little more muted than you'd expect from a restaurant like this that has a name with the word "spice" in it, and the lunch buffet didn't seem super fresh or varied. My wife and I both agreed that it's decent, but it's not among our favorite Indian places that we've ever been. Still, it's great to have another nice sit down restaurant in downtown Parker, and I hope they'll continue improving. read more

I met a friend here last night, and will definitely be coming back! Spice Kitchen has a great location right on Main Street with ample seating, both indoor and outdoors. The menu is huge! Plenty of options to accommodate all kinds of dietary restrictions - my friend is gluten-free and currently doing keto and I am vegetarian, and both of us left the meal happy and full. I settled for the Daal Tadka (yellow lentils) with a side of garlic naan, and my friend ordered the Tandoor Chicken. There was an ample amount of food - I ended up bringing most of it home, and made two additional meals out of it! Our waitress was very attentive to us the entire time, always making sure we had enough water and seeing if we needed anything throughout our meal. Can't wait to come back here and try more flavorful food. The only "gripe" I have is that I ordered medium spice, and didn't find it to be spicy at all - but that's an easy fix :) read more

The food is very good. Every dish tasted fresh and well-prepared. The service is lacking a bit, though. We had two members of our group who ordered their dishes to be extremely spicy. When they arrived, one was spicy and the other diner's dish was not. When the other diner mentioned this, the server either didn't understand the comment or didn't explain it. The guy behind the bar and the lady serving us didn't have any personality and very cold. The food however was the big disappointment. We walked in the back entrance from the main parking lot because parking was almost non existent due to the farmers market on Main St. FREE PARKING IN BACK OF RESTAURANT. The service was fairly good they checked on us throughout our meal and the restaurants interior was modern, clean, and formal. Our food came out hot and the Tikka Masala was very good. The flavor was savory and had a medium amount of spice. If you like spicy I would definitely recommend saying a little hotter than what your normal spice level is. The salad was fresh and the food came out very quickly after we ordered. My least favorite was the dressing that came with the salad was a little tart and sour. However, it is the only dressing they serve. The other thing I wasn't fully impressed with was the garlic nan. Was a little concerned when Elevation 5900 shut their doors as it had been my absolute favorite spot in Downtown Parker. However, Spice Kitchen has proved to be a welcoming change to the restaurant scene on Main Street. I've always been an Indian food fan but I just haven't made it a point to seek out a favorite place. I have one now, Spice Kitchen is in my opinion simply amazing. If you are not familiar with the Indian style my recommendation is to start with the Assorted Platter appetizer. It's a great sampling of their pre-meal offerings, make sure to ask for a side of the Raita sauce on the side. It's a yogurt based sauce with a hint of cucumber. Simply amazing! For the main course I always get a few of the dishes and all of us at the table just share. You'll get a bottomless bowl of their Basmati rice. My favs are the Curry Chicken, the Lamb Masala and the Lamb Korma (a white cream sauce with a slight hint of coconut). Make sure you get an order of the Garlic Cheese Naan. It's pita bread topped with garlic, spices and cheese, then baked to a melted deliciousness that you'll never forget. I've sampled bar drinks such as martinis, and an Old Fashioned. They carry a great Indian beer, Flying Horse, which is brewed in Bangalore, India. It goes great with the spice of the main courses. You can specify mild, medium or hot spiciness. I always go with the medium which is perfect for me, and my family. Give Spice Kitchen a try, it will become one of your favorite Parker spots. Only bummer for me, they close at 9:00pm every night, even on weekends. Would be great if they could extend the Friday and Saturday hours to at least 10:00pm. read more
