This is my third time here and I absolutely love this place. I got the nigiri sushi combo and it was so fresh and delicious. I came with a bigger party but we were seated very quickly and the waitress was so funny and nice and even took a photo for us. The food came out quickly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the interior is very cozy and nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I am a Pomona native and finally tried this GEM out and let me say it was THE BEST i have ever had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Came on a Sunday night and my partner and i were the only two in there, felt like we were in V.I.P.!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've never had a baked salmon hand roll before and it was delicious. From being skeptical of this little spot, it is now at the top of my list. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the small mom and pop shop and the sweet host, she made sure all of our questions were answered![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and bright family owned sushi shop on Mission in Pomona.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is very friendly and kind. Reasonably priced combo meals with miso soup and salad. We ordered the pork katsu and the sushi combo #4 with 3 salmon sushi and 6 pcs spicy tuna roll. I appreciated the salad was mixed greens rather than iceberg lettuce, with refreshing ginger dressing. The miso soup was hot and not too salty. The sushi was very fresh, as was the wasabi. The pork katsu was a generous portion, and could've used a little more sauce. Overall a pleasant dining experience!

Super cute local mom and pops sushi spot! Came here for dinner one night and it was very pleasant. The whole place was super adorable. Our sever was nice and attentive. We ordered 2 of the combos to share and one of the rolls. The menu is very simple and has all the standard sushi items. The combos are great deals. We go A and B. Portion size is pretty good and the ingredients is fresh, the quality of the fish is an average cut. Easy no frills, reasonably priced meal. Parking was very easy in the adjacent lot.

Always great food, love coming here at least once a month minimum. Prices are always cheap, food is made fresh, and the owners are always happy to be here. Highly recommended coming here if you haven't already, the combo #3 is my favorite along with a Thai tea. 10/10

We finally went in! Don't let the outside scare you away. You walk in and it's like another land. We always pass by and after the encouraging reviews on yelp we went it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Oh looked so clean, and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was such a graceful lovely patient lady. She even explained the food as she brought it out. Prices are not bad.i fell in love with the green mussels. My son liked his veggie egg rolls. Miso soup was good. My husband loved all the sushi he ordered. We added pork belly dish. She said it's spicy, not at all. It was perfect heat ratio. Geez so worth $18. Cooked fresh!! I would say the only thing that bothered me was they use alot of green onions on everything. But we will definitely be back, to try more items.

Was craving sushi and found this cute mom and pop place to try. Got the combo 2 ($15) which came with miso soup, salad, spicy tuna roll, salmon skin hand roll, and 3 pieces of nigiri. The roll and nigiri were fresh and had a great rice to sushi ratio. The salmon skin hand roll was my favorite! It was crunchy, flavorful, and packed with fish and other veggies. So happy to have found an affordable and delicious place for sushi near home.

A hidden gem in Pomona honestly. Come here when you are craving some family owned sushi or you just want to enjoy a nice miso soup. The stuff we had today we Spicy edamame Black sesame poppy seed salad Combination 2 (California roll, spicy Tuna, spicy crunchy tuna) Mother roll ( baked lobster with eel sauce !) Paid a little over $25, and I would pay more for the level of service I receive here. Helping local businesses that have GREAT food is always a plus right ? Slide through ! You can also order over the phone :-)

Omg how cute is this place? My fiancé and I were looking for a sushi place by my house, which is really hard to find a good one in Pomona, and found this spot. At first I wasn't so sure bcus it was located in the corner and it was dark at the time. But you should never judge a book by its cover! So glad we gave it a shot. This place looks to be owned but a family, and they are so sweet and attentive. We ordered way too much but finished it all bcus it was so yummmm!! The sushi tasted so clean and fresh. This is def #1 for Pomona.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure to try a fish spot that has been under my radar for a few months. My partner raves about this place so I thought it was finally time to give it a try. Initial impressions are as follows: - small yet ample parking - interesting purple building - beautiful indoor area, seating and overall atmosphere. The main lady that runs the space was very kind, welcoming and patient as we flipped through their cute photo album menu. I ordered the kimchi fried rice without pork, a spicy tuna roll and an oyster shooter. The oyster shooter was first. The smell was fresh like the salty Pacific. The Roll was fascinatingly spicy. The kimchi fried rice... it was spicy, tangy, ferment-y-- all the yummy goodness to be expected. Safe to say, this is my new Japanese seafood cuisine spot. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS!!

The food is consistently so good, and honestly, we love everything on the menu. Yes, it can be a bit pricey, but sometimes you really do have to pay for quality -- and this place is 100% worth it. My family especially loves the kimchi here, but truly, you can't go wrong with anything you order. We come here for family time no matter the season -- when it's cold, when it's hot, anytime we want a good meal together. It's comfortable, reliable, and always hits the spot. If this place ever went out of business, I swear half of Chino Hills would shut down with it. That's how iconic it is.

I don't see her anymore. I can honestly say it is a complete 180 degrees! The service has been wonderful! This is our 3rd time since. Each time the food has been amazing and the service is consistently good to very good. The store is tucked away in a shopping center full of lil stores and restaurants. Parking is okay but there are some days you will need to drive around for a bit. Usually, there is at least a 30-45 minute wait to be seated, but we lucked out this chilly Monday night. Still crowded though! The restaurant is quaint. Nothing spectacular but clean. Seating is not too close to others. The service has been consistently good to very good. Friendly and quick. If you do need additional items, you will need to waive someone down. The food comes out hot and fresh! Seafood tofu: Sizzling hot. Great flavor. Nice amount of umami and spice. Filled with tofu. Wish there were a bit more seafood. At least clams. Galbi: Excellent balance of flavor! Not drenched in sauce and very tender. Would be great if the bed of onions were cooked a bit more! Great condiment with the rice. Japchae: Was a lil overcooked but tastes great. Wished there was more meat. Bibmibap is always a winner. Great texture and fresh tasting. Sauce has a perfect amount of kick and mixture of spice and sweet. Spicy cold noodle odke. Huge! Fresh veggies and the buckwheat noodles were cooked perfectly! Condiments and rice were spot on! So happy we came back.

Seoul Haus…read morejust opened on Grand Ave, and when we went, the place was already packed with local Korean families--which is always the absolute best sign of approval. What blew me away first was the insane value, especially compared to other Korean restaurants around here. If you love Galbi Jjim (braised short ribs), you know that going to places like Sunnongdan will easily run you almost $100, and you practically need a whole squad just to finish it. Here, their Medium size is only around $28.99! The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, beautifully glazed, and the perfect size for just two people to share without breaking the bank. We also ordered one of their combo sets, which is such a genius concept for indecisive eaters. We paired a steaming bowl of Seollontang (ox bone soup) with their spicy pork belly. It totally satisfied our K-BBQ cravings without having to pay BBQ prices or leave smelling like smoke. Also, their traditional banchan (side dishes) are fully refillable and super fresh--the perfect pairing with the rich broth. The owner and the staff are incredibly sweet and welcoming, and you can tell they take hygiene and food quality very seriously because the entire space was absolutely spotless. Parking is also a breeze since they are located in a plaza with a massive parking lot--no stressful search for a spot. The dining area is huge and comfortable, so it's definitely perfect for larger family gatherings of 10+ people too. Amazing food, great portions, and friendly service.
