    I am truly disappointed and disgusted by the lack of honesty and professionalism from this dealership. They do not take responsibility for the mistakes they made and said that the warranty covered nothing. We bought a 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat; it was sold under the pretense to have a decent fuel efficiency of 20-22 miles/gallon. Immediately we noticed that it did not give more than 14-15 miles/gallon. We explained to the dealership what was going on, and they said that it was due to the leveling kit to the front. They removed the leveling kit, which still did not give us the advertised fuel efficiency, and told us to wait until the engine "loosened up with some miles." I use this truck daily and drive at highway speeds. When my husband drove it this weekend, he noticed that the truck was pulling to the side, and he checked the tire, and they were worn out. He immediately knew the car was out of alignment and brought it to the dealership. They informed us that they had aligned the truck after taking the leveling kit out and that the warranty did not cover the damage. We bought this new truck, and it only has 11000 miles on it. I could not notice anything wrong with the car, which is supposed to be new, and if it weren't for my husband driving the car, I would have ended up having an accident. They tried to blame us, that we hit the tires, but when my husband told the people at spikes to show us that there were no marks on the tires or the rims to back that claim up. My husband bought a new set of tires and immediately took it to a reputable alignment center, were they said that the truck was out of alignment and the alignment that it had was for a different height of the vehicle. They did not align the truck after taking the leveling kit off. What they did was dangerous, and to save themselves some money, they could have placed my life and others on the road at risk. We are going to get rid of this car. The worse part was that we did not see how terrible the reviews were of this place. Do yourself a favor and do not go there!

    I have never dealt with such an unprofessional dealership service department in my life. My cousin took my truck in to get warranty work done to my AC as it was not blowing cold air or strong either. I received a phone call on 07/17/24 at 6 PM from Ruben my service advisor. He explained to me that I had to authorize 2 labor hours ($360) so the technician can tear apart my front end and see if there is any damage or a leak. I told him that my truck was still well under the warranty and I didn't understand why I had to pay for them to look at it. Ruben said that was how they handled things at this location. I told him I would not authorize it, but still wanted my truck looked at. Ruben said that since I was not going to pay that I could come pick up my truck as they would not be looking at it anymore. I told him I would have someone there in the morning to get it. My cousin was there first thing in the morning (7:30 AM) to pick it up and take it to a different dealer. Ruben told my cousin the technician had my keys and would be in around 8 AM. I was severely disturbed knowing that the technician had sole possession of my keys and were not given back to the service advisors to be put in a central location as other dealers commonly practice. The technician finally arrived and handed Ruben my keys and made sure to tell him to be sure and charge the diagnostic fee ($160). My cousin told Ruben he would not be paying as they did not do anything and it was warranty work from the beginning. Ruben told him he would not be releasing my truck without payment. Ruben said he would waive the fee this time, but said they would be sucking all the freon out of my system, as they performed a dye test to check for leaks and wanted their freon back as we would not be paying. They made my cousin wait over an hour while they performed this action. I have never heard of this being done anywhere. I hope nothing is damaged from them draining my freon out of my system. I asked to speak to a manager and did not hear from one. I received a phone call from senior advisor Elizabeth instead. I appreciate her reaching out, but am extremely disappointed a manager could not take the time to return a call. I than called back to speak to the General Manager and was told they were not available at the moment, but would return my call by end of day. I am writing this at end of day and never received a phone. I find it disturbing that no one in management seems to want to rectify the situation or offer an explanation to these shady practices. My cousin sent me a picture of my truck in their lot before he left showing my truck full of grass clippings. I expect my truck to be in good hands when at a dealership, I did not expect blatant carelessness of any ones vehicle.

    This place is disorganized and lacks communication skills, not only is English the second language, they don't inform the waiting customer. 11 hours to change 7 tires! Unbelievable! Then 9 hours for an oil change these are appointments at 8 am. Then on top of it no top off of the fluids even though the check out sheet said they did. When I mentioned it they corrected it but when doing it drove over cones causing marks on the bumper!

    The Fast Lane is not fast at all, you have to wait around a hour or more. They need to expand the oil change lanes.

So it is with great gratitude that I take time today to put these thoughts down for the cosumption of others who may be condisering a purchse from Bert Ogden Auto Outlet here in Mission, TX. My experience was just outstanding. The entire crew I intracted with wether they were inolved in my purschae or not, were just so genuinely nice people! Talk about refresshing. I would give more than 5 stars but that is all I can give! My sales professional Jesus, was such a nice guy. Very pofressionaly, knowledgeable and personable. Trust me, he had the cards stacked against him with me as his customer. He put up with all my questions, offers and counter offers with a very gentle tact and I truly felt he was there to help me as much as he could within the limits imposed on him. The manager, George was also awesome as he too had to put up with my shrewd negotiation skills. He did consider my offers and countered with fair ones of his own and in the end crafted a deal that I and the dealhership could stomach. Once again, just a real nice fella! I never felt pressured by him or anyone there actually. Lastly, Joe the Finance Manager was also a complete gentleman, knowledgeable about his work and very effecient with the time he was helping me navigate the vast amount of paperwork required to purcahse a car. He has an excellent choice in music too! I just can not state it enough, but these guys were just so freakin nice and professional and I stress, "non pressuring"! I have zero reservations in recommending this dealership to any family or friends and to anyone I do not know. Have you every seen the show, Under Cover Boss? Well, if I was the boss under cover and these men were my employess, you better believe they would all be getting raises, vacations, promotions and the accolades they rightly deserve. They truly do reflect positively upon their company. So, I know this was lengtlhy and that should impress upon you, the reader just how impressed and enjoyable my experience was!
