We had a late breakfast after getting my haircut. The Chicken fried steak you order it with beef iron chicken. I had ordered beef. The steak was tender and not overcooked. I wish it had more gravy. The food was good, Nirms has a better chicken fried steak. Karla was our sever and she was attentive. She came back to refill our coffees and asked us if we need ed anything. The restaurant customers appear to be all locals. Mostly seniors . Nothing wrong with that.

Breakfast this morning was better than I expected, but still could have been better. There are a few locations all around Los Angeles and I would not classify them as a diner, more as a fast service American restaurant. The best part of the meal was the pricing because it is very fair. There is plenty of seating inside, both booth and counter and parking is very easy and free because it's attached to a shopping center. Service was pretty quick for me although it did take quite a while for me to be able to place my food order. I was immediately seated right when I entered and they brought my drinks immediately after being seated. I did have to wait about 10 minutes to place the order, but when the food came it was better than I was expecting. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and even though the hollandaise was a bit watery in my opinion the ham on the bottom was very good and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I got side of avocado and it was not the freshest avocado but I still ate it. Overall a pretty nice experience although does not really give me the restaurant kind of feel. I would recommend it if you are in the area.

I think it's been a million years since we have dined here, so it was nice to take my mom out for a breakfast date. Lots of booths available , all private as they share high non see through glass partitions. Menu is large with a lot menu options from breakfast into dinner. Breakfast is served all day. We both went for the eggs and bacon combo with toast and English muffin. Nice presentation, eggs and potatoes weren't as warm as I'd like them to be though. But, what was really odd was the bacon. It had a smell and taste that was old or cheap. I don't know what or where this bacon came from, but it was not high quality- no fatty or nice crispy like texture that you normally see. My mom who is not a picky eater did not touch any of it! Her fave - the apple cinnamon herbal tea and the toast with strawberry jelly! Friendly service, but food is just ok. Not sure if I would come back....

The pancakes were so tasty but the strawberries were old so my review is lower. I had to send the strawberries back & it only took $1 off which didn't make any sense because on the breakfast menu it says the waffle combo is $7.99 but it said $12 on the receipt for the waffles. My grandma liked her omelette with chicken but I do not like that I had to pay extra for spinach and mushrooms in the omelette, I wouldn't have minded if the ingredients were 50cent or $1 but they charged us $2.25 for each topping. So her omelette came up to $22. We paid $50 for these small plates. The only thing I say that was very tasty was the hot chocolate, I always ask for no whip cream. I usually add sugar to my cocoa but their cocoa is so sweet it don't need anything added. I think if they would've gave me the pancakes for free and apologized about the strawberries instead of just taking them off my pancakes would've left me with a better review but my pancakes still tasted like the old strawberries.

Definitely an dinosaur coffee shop geared to the Geritol jet set. Breakfast are ok, a bit high priced. I wouldn't go for dinner.

Laura and Carol were especially warm, cheerful, and attentive, which made the experience even better. We ordered the chilaquiles and the breakfast sandwich, and both were fantastic. The chilaquiles were fresh and full of flavor with crispy tortilla chips topped with a rich green sauce, egg, cheese, and red onion. The breakfast sandwich was a generous portion on a warm brioche bun with thick bacon, egg, chipotle sauce, and fresh greens. We also tried the churros, which were clearly made fresh to order. They were not overly sweet, perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The horchata coffee was absolutely divine and something I would come back just for. Everything here is made fresh, and you can taste the difference. The outdoor seating area with music created such a joyful, relaxing atmosphere and made the whole morning feel special. We understand places get busy with little staff but the cashier/barista yelled at both my boyfriend and her co worker. When I ordered there was four seperate customers behind me which we all ordered similar items as me. We thought she called our order first which was a misunderstanding on our part the barista then yelled at her co worker saying "it's not his" "i said it's not his" then when my boyfriend backs up she yells "it's not yours!" It was a simple mistake but did not mean she could yell at her co worker and a paying customer. Like I said we understand first hand being understaffed since my boyfriend and I work in the hospitality/food business. But the barista was just wiping the counter while she had 4 drinks without lids then it took her even longer to take our order plus 2 other customers orders came out when we all ordered similar items (just beverages.)

There is a little history buried inside Noon Korean Bingsoo House. Before Noon, this same…read morestorefront was Oncle's Cafe, a Korean inspired dessert and coffee shop that opened here in 2022. Somewhere along the way Oncle became Noon, the cakes and coffee gave more ground to bingsoo and the place changed enough that I still occasionally catch myself comparing what is there now with what I remember being there before. That may be part of why I have kept coming back. I remember Oncle being one of those easy little places where the service felt unusually attentive. Young guys behind the counter who seemed genuinely engaged, checking on things, keeping the room moving, making the whole experience feel cared for. Noon still occupies the same address and the bones of a good dessert shop are obviously still there, but the experience today feels considerably more transactional. The bingsoo itself is not bad. The machine is doing what it is supposed to do. The ice has that fine, soft, almost snow like texture that separates good Korean bingsoo from somebody simply attacking a block of ice with machinery. The problem, for me, is everything they put on top of it. I have tried enough of the menu at this point that I don't think this is a matter of choosing the wrong flavor. Strawberry, mango, the more elaborate combinations they consistently lean too sweet. Syrups, sauces, creams, fruit. Eventually all that sugar begins flattening the very thing that makes bingsoo so good. The delicacy of the ice itself. Instead of tasting individual ingredients, you start tasting sweetness in several different costumes. That is where Noon loses me compared with the better versions of this dessert. A great bingsoo lets you keep eating because nothing overwhelms anything else. Here, a few spoonfuls in, I'm usually wishing someone had simply stopped adding things. Then there is the experience of going. Parking in this plaza at the wrong hour can turn dessert into a minor logistical exercise. The lot is tight, dinner traffic makes it worse and the alternative is hunting around outside. Once you make it in, seating operates with that awkward first come first served ambiguity where someone who ordered after you can apparently have a table secured while you stand there holding dessert and waiting for another group to leave. The room itself often feels oddly unattended. Tables linger before being cleared. Surfaces can feel sticky. Nobody seems particularly responsible for making the dining room feel reset between customers. When it gets crowded, all of that compounds. People hovering for seats, groups talking over one another, trays sitting around, everyone negotiating the room themselves. None of this makes Noon terrible. That is probably the important distinction. The actual shaved ice is good. Some of the combinations are enjoyable. There are plenty of people who will probably prefer the sweeter style more than I do. And clearly the place has found an audience. Noon's current social presence identifies it as a Gardena bingsoo shop at this same Western Avenue location. I just find myself wondering why I keep making the effort. Maybe some of it is nostalgia for Oncle. Maybe I keep hoping the next visit will recover whatever made the old place feel more personal. But when getting dessert requires fighting for parking, negotiating a table, sitting in a room that feels half managed and then eating bingsoo that is considerably sweeter than I want it to be, there are easier ways to spend an evening.

Advised I needed a dozen cupcakes, she told me the flavors available, and I chose marble with vanilla frosting (the safest bet IMO to feed a group of employees). You could customize the frosting color but I opted out. They were nice enough to even add custom lettering! Shortly after all the details were confirmed, she sent an invoice via PayPal (she asks what the preferred method of payment is). Pricing is extremely reasonable.
