This my second time riding in the Spirit. One time was a night cruise and the second is a day cruise. I would ride again, but either at night or doing the cooler season, because it gets really hot on the deck and it's barely any shade as well. The line are really long , so I would get there either early, or prepare for a wait. The staff and my server was super nice and the food was decent, but not nothing to brag about. It is a live DJ and photography. We had purchase the photo package and pictures was really nice. I did however wish the DJ played Variety of music and not just Afro-Pop and "Cookout songs" day cruise Night cruise - R&B and "Cookout songs" Outside of that it was nice to do and just relax.

As I talked about in a previous review of Baltimore's inner harbor, there are a lot of cool, interesting and exciting things to do there. One of those awesome to do adventures is to take a boat tour of the inner harbor. My boss, I and many others attending the conference we were in took a boat tour on Spirit Cruises. It was an amazing experience. I had an absolutely wonderful time. The most similar experience I had to this were boat tours I took years ago in Miami's Bayside Marketplace... but this tour was so much better. 1) it started at dusk and went into the night so much better views. 2) There was a DJ, plenty of booze, and dinner. It was a awesome to relax in the upper deck that has plenty of comfortable seating with a beverage in hand as you just let the beauty of the water and inner harbor relax you....especially with some great music in the background. The food was awesome... plenty of food served buffet style... I had two full plates of different types of chicken, pork, mash potatoes, the food was savory, delicious and well made. The service of the staff was wonderful. The only bad part of my time here was that it ended... I wish I could have stayed several more hours on here. Great experience, give it a try if you are in the area.

My boyfriend surprised me with a Spirit dinner cruise recently as a birthday gift and it was a fun time. I can't comment on the value of the cruise as it was a gift and I don't know how much it costed, but I can comment on the quality of service, food, and overall experience I had. Our boat had three levels: two indoor areas with tables and one upper deck. The indoor levels had AC and were decorated so well that it was almost like a restaurant. Each table was nicely set with white tablecloths and fancy silverware. We got a table by the window upon special request (you pay extra basically). There is a dress code, but it is not strictly enforced. Just wear something decent, like khakis and a polo or a sundress, and you'll be okay. The service was great. Every server and staff member was charismatic and friendly. We could order whatever kind of drinks we wanted. There were 2 bars on the boat. A buffet-style dinner was included with our tickets as well as a 2.5 hour cruise in the harbor. The dinner was a major disappointment. None of the food was good. There was a lot of variety and it all looked awesome, but none of it tasted right. Everyone we saw left a lot of food on their plates. I felt bad doing so, but it was honestly hard to stomach it :-( The cruise in the harbor was great. We were free to roam the 3 levels and spent most of our time on the top deck after dinner. It was very peaceful on the water. You don't see the most interesting stuff, especially if you've visited the harbor before, but it's fun nonetheless. There was a DJ on the lower level and some guy playing guitar on the upper deck. He took requests. He was pretty good. You have the opportunity to get a photo souvenir. They take your photo before you board. The bathroom was also surprisingly very nice. It was spotless, smelled great, and had a real toilet - not like the toilets you see on airplanes, which is what I expected. I would highly suggest going on a Spirit dinner cruise for a special occasion, like a birthday or anniversary. Just make sure you eat before :-)

I had the best night here me and my husband enjoyed everything from the service to the drinks next time I will definitely buy the upgrade window seat or package because you get a bigger table but other then that we enjoy everything

This is probably the #1 for worst service and staff... The bartender, Cynthia i was so rude, I couldn't really hear because of the screaming children and when she asked me what I wanted I asked "what do you have?" she said, "NEXT PERSON , I don't serve children who ask!" she didn't give me my drink and my friends quinton and Jeremy also had terrible service, the bartender straight up lied to them and said no refills when half an hour later the man on the speaker said to get refills. Also half the cups was FOAM! Oh and noooooow both bartenders are gone and people are filling their own drinks from behind the counter. Ugh I can hardly think because everything is so loud. They should be fired. Boring cruise, terrible service , and they just scooped Mac and cheese off the ground and put it back in the serving bowl omfg I think I am going to puke.

OMG, I cannot believe no one has reviewed them yet. Anywho, I went on their eat, drink, and b. Mary cruise and had an awesome experience. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The brunch buffet was overall awesome. Some items (potatoes, fish, etc.) were too salty the first round but they were good during the second round. They had an extensive collection of desserts and breakfast food. The entire area was very clean and organized. We did not reserve a window table but got to sit at the table next to one so had an awesome view (probably better than the window table because the windows were a little high so sitting a bit far gave a better angle). The DJ was friendly and we had a good time. The top deck had beautiful layout and plenty of seating. We had a blast and want to go back, hopefully soon. It's a bit pricy but we got a 20% or something discount so we got a good deal .

Omg we had a great time on board...budget was very good gorgeous day in the harbor we played Jenga, connect four and the slidy game while enjoying the trip to the Key Bridge and enjoying Baltimore's waterway. Highly recommend for 2 or a group.

I attended the spirit dinner cruise for my 21st birthday and besides the worries I had I must say it was a great time ! Our waiter Charlene was super caring and helpful! Food wise their was not much options but they all tasted great so my party and I didn't mind they had all options for different eating styles wether salad pasta or meat is your preference you'll be pleased. Atmosphere of the boat was very classy and once food is done the Dj cuts on tunes to get everyone off their feet my party and another ladies were dancers so we did get it moving while other people sat and awkwardly watched an sorta wish they could once we put on Cupid shuffle that got the ball rolling and we danced the night away I Can say I did almost miss this boat while half of my party was already on so do be there on time!due to the compassion of the workers just before the boat docked we did get let on the only cons and why this did not get 5 stars is because for the high ticket price you would wish the boat ride was longer than 2 hours and also the dinner ticket would include more than just tea coffee! I Would say overall great experience! Wouldn't mind doing it again !!

Unfortunately, I don't think that this was a great showcase of the restaurants abilities. For food, I had the Caesar salad to start, which I can honestly say was a decent caesar, nothing to write home about, but no complaints either - think your basic Caesar. For my main I had the crabcake entrée and to be honest it was just not good. The crabcake was beyond dry and the coleslaw and fries were fine but that that's not what I came for. I do have to say that dessert was great, the carrot cake was without any complaints. The only other thing that I had was the seasonal martini on the drink menu and it was so bad that I couldn't take more than one sip. Other people did like their food, but we all left saying that it was not a great meal. In discussing service, the service itself was good. Our waitress was attentive, but kept jumping into our conversation and wasn't dressed totally appropriately for wait staff in my opinion, she was very attentive though. Ambience is interesting here - it feels as though it has no ambience almost. It's just like a bunch of tables in an outdated restaurant with minimal decor. Overall, I will probably not be coming back to Sobo and can't say that I would recommend others do so.

Since it was New Year's eve, there were few patrons or maybe this is the usual scene? Don't know. But there are some comfy couches by the front in which a young couple with a baby was nursing. Another couple was just finishing up dinner and started to head out. We were the only two diners for about 20 minutes before another couple came in for dinner. There were also about two or three people at the bar. So basically a very quiet place. No one at the hostess stand, only a woman at the bar. She eventually sat us and took our order. Things were slow but not so slow that I would complain. I would surmise that most of the staff was off that evening. Food was also slow in coming so there might have been a small crew in the kitchen as well. We ordered the mezze appetizer. Nothing to rave about. It was just a plate with vegetables and hummus. We both got the wagyu burger and fries. The whole meal was quite decent. The meat was cooked to the correct temperature and the fries were crispy. It was quite filling for me. Maybe it was NYE but everything was quiet and nice.

The space is gorgeous - super high ceilings, giant chandelier, velvet couches - a very old school elegant vibe. The beer and wine selection were small, but very good. Given my experience with DC and other parts of MD, I was determined to contact them ahead of time and make sure I would have a spot for brunch. But after some contact on IG, they said it's just walk-ins and I would most likely get a table with no effort or wait. I was concerned... but they were right! So we got settled immediately and started ordering. Our gracious server asked for drinks, which have a bottomless option during brunch. We could pick from mimosas, crushes, sangria and bloody marys. I tried everything but the bloody marys, and while they were good, whew there was a lot of ice in the mimosa... I'm not used to ice there, so it threw me off but it was still good! The REAL highlight was the food... the item I got changed my life: Crab. Cake. Eggrolls. They came with this amazing sweet chili sauce and were so filling and delicious! I also got chicken & waffle sliders to go that had a nice kick and the waffle texture was great! My cousin enjoyed his food as well. Also, shout out to the bagel wall that's on the way to the bathroom. It had great options and all the fixings! If I wasn't full I would've gotten one myself. I will return here for brunch.

We tried a lemon drop which was perfectly balanced, and their house-made raspberry lemonade, which was very sweet. We also got the dessert of the day, which was a strawberry waffle sundae. The waffles were warm and fluffy and it came with a side of Taharka ice cream. One thing I don't love is that they sometimes leave the stems/leaves on their fruit, so I had to pick that off before eating. Overall, love this spot!

Josh is pretty much knowledgeable about the entire menu and gave us wonderful recommendations from food to cocktails. And answered any questions that we had, I wound definitely sit in his section all the time. I highly recommend. Our table ordered a plethora of entrees, from the Chesapeake Cioppino( a seasfood stew with clams, mussels, rockfish, Maryland crab and fennel), a phenomenal dish and perfect for cold evenings. The Rockfish entree was really delicious and I was blown away with the crispy okra. Definitely a nice touch to the dish. It sits in a goan curry sauce, so delicious. You can never go wrong with their burger. The cracked pepper bacon along with the caramelized onion jam was really good on this burger and it was cooked perfectly, nice and juicy.
