If I was working a World Cup game at 10am? idk man, but they were so kind and accommodating :) We just got some drinks there and just some waffle fries, but I enjoyed the cook on the sweet potato fries and the sauce! The vibe was chill and good and there were lots of people there to watch the game (heartbreaking loss) but other than that I liked the amount of tables and they had a patio. I have never thought about going to this Spitz but I liked the vibe and I'm craving a gyro so I'll definitely be back to visit the super kind staff! read more

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I really enjoyed the food along with my coworkers. Located one block from Little Tokyo / Arts District Station, there are many competing restaurants and dessert spots nearby. You order at the front then seat yourself. There can be a lunch rush because a long line formed after we had ordered. The ambience was casual but interestingly retro with an old television show playing in the background. It took around 20 minutes to get our food. There is self-serve water available with big cups. I ordered a remix bowl with beef and lamb ($15.50), which came with a variety of ingredients: lemon-herb tahini dressing, marinated garbanzos, harissa, cabbage slaw, feta, roasted corn, kalamata olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, and sumac. The bowl was filling, and I enjoyed the diverse mix of spice and flavor. Overall, the bowl was refreshing because of the rice, vegetables, and different sauces. The marinated garbanzos were crispy and a delightful detail to the bowl. I've never had these before, but they bore some similarity to croutons. The beef and lamb were thinly cut, but they still had an adequate portion size. I also tried some waffle-cut sweet potato fries. This is my favorite spot in Little Tokyo. My entire office of 14 people all frequent here at least twice a week for lunch or happy hour. We got nervous when we saw they were getting a new owner. But doing a little investigating we found out a long time employee took over. We didn't think it was possible but since the new owner it has gotten even better. The food quality is always consistent and comes out a lot quicker during lunch. And the staff overall are fantastic they genuinely seem happy to be there. We always have the same bartender at lunch and he's always so friendly and remembers our orders. The vibe is always on point with great music and retro tv shows playing on the tv. The sauce that came with the fries and wrap pairs very nicely with it all. My bf also enjoyed his salad as well! So the food was great, although I feel like the restaurant is not as clean? He loved it and it was also easy for him to eat as he has some dental issues. My husband ordered the Street Wrap which he enjoyed. I love that Spitz little Tokyo is still around after these years, especially since it's something different aside from Japanese food in the little Tokyo area. I came for happy hour (m-f 4-7 pm) and had the rose sangria. It was tart and refreshing. The pita strips which is basically fried pita bread and the house made hummus was delicious. The bartender who served me was friendly and helpful. My wife LOVES Spitz so I'm familiar with the excellent food. Never been to this location before. Blasting music from my youth(TBS, Sum41, Blink, etc) I knew I was in the right spot. Ordered the Spitz gyro and the falafel & hummus as I waited for my little brother from the big brother big sister program. Food was excellent and filling. I love how they list the ingredients in their sauces which gave me peace of mind as someone who is deathly allergic to dairy. Service was great and provided free refills on my coke. Ordered through Postmates recently and it was decent. I ordered the Street Cart Doner Wrap since I was feeling something somewhat healthy lol. The wrap was filled with veggies and meat. The meat was somewhat dry and the seasoning was just ok. For the price, I was a bit disappointed with the wrap. I also ordered an extra chili sauce on the side for an extra kick which was pretty tasty. The food came neatly wrapped and stapled in a paper bag to prevent tampering. I have come here a few times and always enjoyed my experience here. I even got shit faced drunk one time. However my friend and I decided to come here one night after our shift around there area since we work close by and we were KICKED OUT. I was appalled because I have never been treated this way. I even came a week before so I was surprised I wasn't recognized since the cashier last time welcomed me in tonight. I know my friend and I look young but if they were "cracking down" -as they said- fake IDs, then they should have a system or some authentic official way to verify it. Never in my 25 years of living! I've came here before for the World Cup games and to try their new anime drinks, I've always had a good experience but today at 10:30 ish pm @ 07/17/26 they literally kicked me and my friend out because they said our IDs were fake. They claimed that the background was too light ! A problem I've never had before. We even mentioned that if they have a scanner to verify that they were real all they said was to go to Far bar! I got one of their bowels I believe the remix bowl( I meant to ask for rice but never did so it has quinoa). The tahini sauce was delicious! Spitz is excellent. I've only been twice to this location. My most recent visit wasn't the best... but the food was delicious just like the first time. The service is good, but apparently something was wrong in the ordering system, so everyone dining in was not getting their food... they fixed it but we waited like 45 minutes. Now for the service... this is where they lost a star. My coworker's salad had a bug in it. When she brought it to an employee, he said "maybe it just flew in it." Then he said he'll look into it and asked if she wanted a new bowl, to which she declined. Another guy gave a refund but he took a while to do so. Very mixed feelings. I'm not sure how I have never reviewed this place, yet. Been coming here for some years now. It was one of my stops during my bar hopping days. It was nice that they had a full bar and while enjoying one of their craft cocktails I decided to order some food. After that I was hooked and it definitely became a place I would like to stop at and recommend to people. Their donner kabob wraps are so delicious! My most recent visit I decided to try something new. I had the medi bowl and although the bowl wasn't large like typical salads are, it was packed with flavor and lots of different ingredients. I would get it again the next time I visit. After I struggled for 15 seconds, I ordered the Street Car Doner wrap that consists of Garlic aioli, fried lavash chips, romaine, cabbage, tomato, onion, green pepper, cucumber, and tzatziki with an order of French fries to split between the two of us. The wrap itself was pretty darn big and tasted absolutely delicious. All the ingredients seemed to be fresh while the mixture of chicken, beef, and lamb were a top notch mixture. The French fries that we split were pretty dang good as well, being extra crispy and having a really great flavour. Overall, Spitz was a great place to go for lunch and definitely somewhere I see myself returning to in the future. The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, and the staff was friendly as well. *Do not order from this location on delivery apps!* I used to love going to the Los Feliz location, so I thought I would order dinner for my household on Postmates. It cost $100 for 3 entrees and 4 sides, even after a $20 coupon. When the order arrived, we only received 2 entrees and 2 (incorrect) sides. The only sides that we received were the fries in our combos, which were supposed to be the street cart upgrades, but neither came with the upgrade. In addition, the fries were extremely cold and stale, despite only being ordered 15 minutes prior. The only correct items in the order were the 2 wraps. Only half of my family were able to eat from Spitz. I received $35 as a refund, and to reorder the same exact items it was going to cost $50 before taxes, fees, and tips. I am so disappointed with the quality control at this location and unfortunately will not be returning to Spitz, despite the fact that I used to love going there.
