Pistachio Cream Ale was DELICIOUS! Ordering was pretty slow but I think they're short staffed. Tons of natural light towards the front of the restaurant, but it's really dark at the back. Music was louder than I'd like and the food was just ok, ESPECIALLY for the price - $50 for meals for 2 people and 2 beers seems ridiculous for a street food place. Overall a fun place for a beer, glad we came for lunch, but not sure I'd go out of my way to come back. read more

My newlywed husband and I came up to the cities for the beginning of our honeymoon. We had a LATE day because we're busy taking care of some things at home. When we got up here, we decided to order food from Spitz. We came from La Crosse, WI, and you simply can't get food like this there. I had, what I think was called the med protein bowl, forgive me if I'm wrong, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! If I had one criticism, it would be the a couple pieces of the meat were dry, and I think it's because they accidentally were put in, or they were scraps would what they had left, and a piece or 2 were dry. We did order right before close, so I didn't mind it. I had VSG surgery, and of course to me this was enough to feed an army. It was SO flavorful, and I'm so thankful to have been able to try this food!! The crispy chickpeas, pickled onions, the gyro meat, cucumbers, tzatziki, etc were so spot on!!! My husband enjoyed his meal as well, and loves trying new food. I got him to try this place with me. He thought he was getting normal Fries, as did I, but then when he got his food he was raving about the flavors!!! Thus is DEFINITELY a place we will eat at again!!! What an awesome mediterranean restaurant! If you're craving some yummy wraps - this place will not disappoint. This place over a naf naf hands down, if I'm in the area. I had the garli aioli wrap, which is there top seller - totally understand why. Fresh ingredients, and great flavors, I had the beef/lamb doner and it wasn't gamy at all. Definitely recommend getting it! If I'm in the area, I would come again. They have a lot of different drink options as well. Their sweet potato fries were good, I probably wouldn't get again though because they were a little salty. They have a decent parking lot area in the back of the restaurant that is shared amongst the other restaurants so you don't have to pay for parking, which is nice! Finally got to try this thanks to Door Dash and WOW this is going to become an addiction. When I placed the order, I ordered big, because the price suggested small portions. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the Doner! Great value. I ordered the Street Cart Doner, pita chips with hummus, and a falafel. The Doner legitimately melts in your mouth and the wrap is crispy and buttery. They don't skimp on sauce! The falafel had a sweetness to it, but wasn't anything spectacular, and the pita chips... yum! They add extra seasoning to the chips. Flaky, salty, and delicious! I ordered the Doner Salad with mixed meat which is a gigantic salad with fried pita in there (my favorite food there). Made it a combo with a pop and fried pita strips with hummus. Salad was delicious and I recommend the mixed meat so you can try a little bit of all of their delicious meats. At nearly $20 for a lunch this is a little steep for Minneapolis. I went here the other day because I saw I had a 20% off coupon on my app. I had to go in the store to order because I also had a discount card from the past when they used to give out stickers. My husband and I were craving Mediterranean food, so we decided to check out Spitz! We sat at the bar and I ordered the Street Cart Wrap with Beef/Lamb. The wrap was thinner than I'm used to, but it was super delicious. The combination of garlic aioli, cabbage, tomato, cucumber, onion, green pepper, and tzatziki was PERFECT. My husband ordered the Mediterranean doner wrap with chicken swarma. Both sandwiches were so crisp, delicious and fresh. For sides we ordered the greek side salad and a mixture of the sweet potato waffle fries and thin cut fries - which is a must order! I wish someone would have told me how big the wraps were, my husband and I only ate half of our wraps and would have completely satisfied sharing a wrap and getting the yummy sides! For drinks I ordered the Bloody Good Bloody Mary. It was ok, I like my bloodys more tomatoy :). There was a wide selection of local beers that my husband loved! I've been here several times since they've opened and always had a good experience. The atmosphere is relaxed with some board games if you wanna hangout awhile. The food is always good. I haven't had anything on the menu that I haven't liked. Along with their regular bar selection they also have some really good sangrias that are very refreshing! The Berliner wrap with the beef and lamb was delicious, although it was a little on the dry side. If I could make a recommendation, ask for a side of tzatziki to dip it in. The garden salad was possibly our favorite of the night (with chicken). It was delicious. We really enjoyed our meal here. Parking is easy to find in the back of the building.
