We just tried Spitz today and Wow, we had no idea what we just walked into, of course we read the reviews but it was all amazing. Tje reviews are all legit! The vibe, the retro decor and old school beats were all crazy hip! The service we received from Aiden was Top Notch, stellar and great personality! He helped us identify and recommend so many great options for us to try, everything we had was a 10/10! So flavorful, fusion mixed Mediterranean foods, all we can say was wow WOW! Absolutely delicious wraps with a very unique flavor and large portions. The falafel is also some of the best around. This spot while further away from my house is now in my regular rotation. One gotcha is unfortunately the fries don't travel well, so if you get it to go, be aware. read more

A new restaurant opened in PB. It's a perfect chill spot, reminds me of those restaurants by the beach in El Nido island in the Philippines. The wraps are massively filled and flavorful. Spitz in Pacific Beach just became our new mid-week date spot. We went in for a quick lunch and walked out fully impressed. Started with the Street Cart Wrap combo; fresh veggies, crunchy fried lavash chips, tzatziki, garlic aioli... basically a flavor parade. I ordered mine without onions because those are not invited into my life. Added the quinoa salad to create the illusion of balanced adult life but ended up loving it. ‍ As for the Hubby The Original Gyro Combo, and let me tell you: that pillowy pita deserves its own TED Talk. Soft, fluffy, warm like a carb cloud gently hugging all the fillings. Zesty feta, Berliner sauce, tzatziki, tomato, all wrapped up perfectly. We added seasoned fries on the side, crispy and wildly hard to share evenly. And the best surprise? They have table games. We played Sorry, I won (obviously), and I plan on reminding Hubby for the foreseeable future. Overall: yummy food, good vibes, and a fun, easy mid-day, mid-week date with the hubby. This place was very chill, we were looking for a good dinner spot and we found it! All meat is halal so it was a plus since my sister does not eat pork. Every bite was full of flavor, I got the Doner Salad and I did not even have to put any dressing because it was just that good without it. My sister got the Zesty wrap and she LOVED it (she is a picky eater). We also got the Doquitos to share and they did not disappoint. The hype was real for this one! Many of my friends told me this spot was so yummy and they were right. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Not enough meat for how much wrap there was. I also didn't like the cabbage. It was very overpowering. The sauces were mediocre, not my favorite. The garlic one didn't have much garlic flavor zhoug wasn't spicy. I really liked the tzatziki though.
