I'm actually disappointed in myself for walking past this place so many times during my mall visit! This is easily the best spot for high-quality drinks that won't break the bank. While I didn't try the food this time, everything coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. The decor is a total vibe, a perfect mix of nostalgic toys and vintage records with a sharp, artsy edge. The service was also friendly and on point. Such a cool spot; I only wish I'd walked in sooner!

Spitz has always been amazing when it comes to their service and food! It never disappoints. I was surprised to find that this spitz has some happy hour deals! Especially on Saturdays and Sundays which I thought was great! Portions are still amazing and now you just get to be able to try new things if you are on a budget. My go to is always the street cart fries- with lamb and their pita bread and hummus is AMAZING! They also have some daily deals and cater now!

5/5 in the West Jordan/Jordan Landing area, definitely probably one of the cooler places in the area and perhaps one of the few places in the plaza that has some unique vibes and concept. This Spitz location is pretty awesome. I remember when they were just starting out and only had the first DT location and now there are several across the valley. I hadn't been here for quite sometime but today I was lured in with their weekend happy hour and their loyalty promo that was running so kudos to their marketing team for doing some effective marketing :)! I've always really liked the doquitos and usually opt for some extra feta sprinkles and a side of balsamic. The food is always consistent across locations (I've been to DT, Jordan Landing, Lehi, Cottonwood) and can attest it's always been consistent across all the locations and throughout time given I started eating at Spitz back in college when it first opened DT. I absolutely love the concept of a really casual/fast dining vibe but not so fast that you couldn't take a first date here. The even better part is that they serve beer and drinks with a full liquor license which really ups their vibes and allows them to fit into a lot of different communities I.e. Jordan Landing being right outside the movie theatre, open late, serves drinks, awesome outdoor seating, great interior vibes which makes for a great hangout spot where you can order on and off anything from little bites to a full meal with a beer/drink. They also have cards and a game shelf so you can even eat, play games, and have a drink with friends without being at an overly loud bar. The music volume is perfect, wish other restaurants would take note, you can actually talk to each other without screaming over each other but the best part is whoever is making the music selection at the Jordan Landing location has great taste and is well cultured, every track played while we were there was on point! Overall- I just appreciate this place and what's it's trying to bring to the SLC food scene, wish we had more like it but they've definitely set a bar for this type of concept, there just isn't much of it here in the valley so it's cool they're creating a unique atmosphere /environment while keeping it low key, casual, and almost bodega style. The most important part is that the food is good/consistent and prices are fair. Very happy to see so many locations across the valley and to see that they've still remained true to heart from the beginning.

Got the recommended meal and I was not disappointed. Wished the fries were dispersed throughout the wrap, one sided but good

I got the recommended option and it was delicious. Mopped up my whole plate, sauce included lol We ordered several of the same wrap w/fries and my entire party loved it! Lots of fried stuff if you like that kind of thing. Nice to try something new.

hands down, an amazing Mediterranean Restaurant. Presentable and very delicious food. Friendly staff members. Cool environment. They serve alcohol, and have somewhat of a bar for people to sit at. You seat yourself, and they find you and bring the food to you. Overall a great place to get food. The only downside I might add, would be that you must place your dirty dishes in a bin and discard your napkins and extras in a trash can. So it is not Restaurant level service, but definitely high quality food and a great place to stop by. Definitely worth trying, would reccomend.

I've passed by here for a long time and finally made my way over. I can appreciate the idea of a modernized or "fusion" take on Greek food, but it just didn't hit home for me. I got a Gyro and was surprised to find that the bread was fried. In theory, this is an awesome idea. In practice, unfortunately it just tasted like a Taco Bell chalupa with gyro meat on it. The bread was just a little over fried, and the gyro meat was pretty dry and chewy. There was also and orange sauce on it that I couldn't quite pin point what it was, but it just didn't meld well with the gyro. With the gyro I got waffle sweet potato fries. These were unfortunately disappointing as well. They were overly fried, with no fluffiness in the middle of the fries at all. To the point there were more like sweet potato chips. The price was also on the high end. Two gyro combos and a half order of doquitos nearly cost us $50. If the price were closer to $35 I could justify giving the experience maybe 2.5 stars. I also had a pretty poor experience with an employee. I was standing in line near the bathrooms for a few mins with a baby in my hands. Just waiting for one to open up. When all of a sudden one of the employees just comes up, tries both door knobs and stands right in front of me. When one finally opened up, the employee tried jumping ahead of me! Then, I get in there, and no changing tables! How can an establishment not have at least one changing table. Overall, this was most definetly a one time experience, and if you haven't been yet, I'd suggest spending your money elsewhere

"Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.

My family stayed down the street at the HGI in Sandy for 5 nights for my son's soccer tournament and we visited Slackwater 3 times. Pro tip: join the waitlist on Yelp! Even during the week, the wait was 30+ mins each time. Food was great. We tried a lot of different pizzas - we got the Chicken Bro-Do, Hot Honey DP, Tikka Masala, Taco Camarones and Margherita. The airy artisan crust is the same on all pizzas and is delicious. I would recommend them all outside of the Camarones which felt a bit underwhelming as there was very little shrimp and flavor was flat. The Citrus Morita dry rub wings are incredible. We ordered these every night. The Morita chile sauce I would throw on everything. Super fresh and flavorful. It had the right amount of heat . The breadsticks are really good. Same bread that they use for the pizza and stuffed with a ton of cheese. Marinara sauce that comes with it is top notch. The Diablo sticks are spicy just to be spicy. The sauce isn't good. We switched to regular marinara. Would recommend staying away from these. Service is great. Everyone is very attentive. The staff definitely give off a chill energy but are focused, alert and friendly. This place is a must if you're in the area. Hope we can make it back someday.

It is the crust that makes this pizza. It is a little sweet but not in a dessert way. It has the perfect chewy bite. I was impressed. I never eat pizza crust, not ever, but it was good enough that my dogs didn't get their usual crust treat. We tried 4 different pizzas and I would recommend any of them.
