Two street wraps and 1 flatbread pizza. Hubby got a full wrap. I had the cabbage and green peppers removed. They gave me green peppers but took away the lettuce. After digging out the peppers, the rest was all right. Son was extremely disappointed with the pizza as it was very dry. Hubby loves the fries. They try going after the döner experience. Nope. The food here is just okay. I think it just doesn't match up with my tastes. I've enjoy some of the things here, but like I said it's a hard to sell menu unless you really love middle eastern fusion food. The Servers here are pretty great, super nice and helpful. Food and service: We got beef doquitos, the chicken berlin donor wrap, and garlic fries. Everything had a flavorful and fresh taste. The fries didn't have an overpowering garlic taste, and were hot and crispy. The servers were friendly and were helpful answering some questions we had on some ingredients. Cleanliness: They have the necessary safety precautions like the 6 ft. marks on the floor, hand sanitizer in various spots around the dine-in area, and tables properly closed off. You must wear a mask, but if you don't feel safe eating in the dining room, they have two patios you can choose from. The north facing patio offers great shade. I love the Street Cart Doner Wrap with a side of Pita Strips and Hummus. (Highly recommended) The beef and lamb protein is the way to go when selecting a protein. They are loaded with vegetables that gives you fresh and healthy vibes, so it's perfect for lunch or dinner (great food option before or after a movie). Gahh, disappointed again. I've always loved Spitz and when they opened a West Jordan location a few years ago I was quick to try it. The takeout was terrible when they first opened, I was so disappointed. I never went back to this location because of this. I took my sister here to dine in person, and it was amazing a couple of weeks ago, just like I remember from the original location. I was craving it after that, so I just tried takeout again, and I was so disappointed. Everything is so old tasting, the street cart fries in particular which are my favorite, were terrible, like the fries are a day old. I guess the moral of this story is don't get food to go from this location. It's good when it's fresh and in person but absolutely terrible if you get it to go. read more

We've enjoyed other Spitz locations in the past but this location continues to get our order wrong each and every time we order. Giving them another chance, We placed an order for pick up again today and Due to an onion intolerance we We ordered: *Medi bowl with NO PICKLED ONIONS, sub crispy garbanzos instead. *Berlin Bowl with NO PICKLED ONIONS, sub crispy garbanzos instead. Both bowls had PICKLED ONIONS when we arrived home and zero garbanzo beans. The Medi bowl is also supposed to have kalamata olives, which is something you pay for and it did not. We had to return to the restaurant to correct the order. Upon receiving them and returning home again we noticed that they simply pulled off the items that we have an intolerance to and simply replaced the lids and sent them back out. Anyone that has an intolerance to onions knows that if the onion touches anything in the dish it usually leaves an onion flavor, which it did. I'm personally appalled that a food service worker would complement our order this way! We asked for the falafel on the side of the Berlin bowl and the food service employee took them from the same bowl, touching the onions and put them on the side. Medi bowl still had no Kalamata olives after the second attempt. At almost $40 for two entrees we will NOT be returning to this location. read more

The ambiance is interesting, and I hate saying the name out loud... but the food is what I keep coming back for. This is my third time coming to Spitz, and I always feel like I get more than I expected. Their fries with the garlic aioli? To die for. For a light lunch, I usually grab a side of fries and then a side quinoa salad. For less than $10, it is a good amount of food and I leave feeling satisfied. Again, I must note... THE GARLIC AIOLI. Spitz is open and serving great food. The restaurant is very clean, provides distanced seating for indoor dining, and the staff was both friendly and conscientious about safety precautions. Ughhh SPITZZZ! love this place so much. Literally every Saturday I always crave it and have to head over for their street gyro combo. Chicken is always great, and the gyro is always bursting with different spices and flavors. If you are looking for fast Mediterranean styled fast food then Spitz is the place you are looking for. I love Spitz and was super excited when they announced this location in Jordan Landing. We ordered in and just like normal they did not disappoint. I personally love the Donner Salad and have recently been enjoying their new bowls which I always add a side of garlic aioli to. My recommendations are always the mixed meat Doner Salad or Street Cart Fries with mixed fries (sweet potato & regular) and mixed meat. I have not tried any of their doner wraps, but I am certain they are just as delicious as the rest of their menu. Also, make sure to add the cinnamon sugar pita strips, you'll be hooked! read more

Stumbled upon this place looking for a bite to eat for lunch and I'm glad I did. The food here was amazing, I got the lamb/beef gyro combo with sweet potatoes fries and they were delicious with that tzatziki sauce (I think) provided. The staff was so friendly and quick with their service. I really loved the cool, artsy ambiance of all the music bands. Will have to stop by here again if ever in West Jordan again! read more

This creative fast casual restaurant is a hit in my book. It's still operating under COVID rules so the had a few tables for seating but we ordered to go. Service was quick (despite their app being offline) and I was glad we say the interior. We will come back when we can sit and enjoy a beer and the outdoor seating potential. Hubby had the Doner and really enjoyed the meat. Next time he will order in a salad as he wasn't a fan of the wrap, but it didn't stop him from eating it all. The Remix Bowl is the perfect mix of veggies, quinoa, I added chicken, cheese and spice. The dressings were spot on and the perfect sized serving for my to go salad. The crispy chick peas were so good I was thrilled each time I had a bite that included that crunch. The falafel and hummus was delicious. Best falafel I've had with a hint of cardamom or cinnamon - I couldn't quite place. The location is in the new West Jordan area across from the theater. This will be a lively spot as soon as we can all get out of the house and congregate again. As a new restaurant they are killing it. We will go back...maybe tomorrow! read more

Thought I was gonna hate it here for years. I just flat out refused to go. Thinking, it's not for me - no way. Boy was I wrong! This place has it all! You want the best salad in the world? Contactless pickup was available (they also did contactless car service but the employees were too busy at the time). The doquitos were crunchy and tasted fresh. The fries were delicious and the dipping garlic aioli is honestly my favorite thing in the world. I wish I could buy an entire container of that sauce. I've been to other Spitz locations before and this is by far my favorite. Once they open for dine in this will be the best new Spitz location. Beautiful interior, plenty of parking, and great food. I ordered online and got there right as it opened. They had my food ready to go and everything that I asked for was inside. I love how fresh everything always tastes. Me and my boyfriend wanted a Gyro and we came at a time that they were busy. There was only 2 employees working at the front bouncing back at doing cashier and serving. I got the Doner Basket which is a large mess of salad, crispy fries (sounds weird but it's super good), beef & lamb, and some fried pita bread. Mixed in is feta cheese, red onion, and some fried chickpeas. I'd compare the experience to a costa vida salad. You get some dressing and hummus on the side. The hummus alone is super flavorful and adds a nice creaminess to the salad. The interior of Spitz is super cute and colorful, just like the food! I don't love the fountain selections, though the unsweetened iced tea worked well enough, but the food here, as with the other places, was the stellar as usual. I finally broke down and got the Street Cart fries and they were outstanding. I think I went half and half with the regular fries and sweet potato, which was the good move. They do sweet potato fries here correctly, nice waffle version AND they're actually crispy, something that eludes most of the places I order them from. I think it might be off-menu now, but you can also order the crispy garbanzo beans as a side dish, which I strongly encourage you to do, as they're one of those things so great, it's almost like one never has enough and the fried kalamatas that come with are outstanding. Decor here is also pretty fascinating, though definitely much more of a casual vibe than anything you'd take someone too for a more formal business meeting, and this is easily one of the best spots in the entire area food-wise. read more
