My experience at Splashworks I decided to stop in to see if they carried Rohl which they did. When I showed the sales person a picture of my sink, he explained the faucet that I wanted would not fit and offered to show me some alternatives in a similar style. He spent over 1 1/2 hours with me; asking me about the style of my kitchen and showing me some other options from the catalog. I thought that was great customer service considering I had not committed to buying from them. I needed new cabinet knobs too so I ended up ordering those as well. read more

So I gave SplashWorks a one-star review. I specified my reasons. NOT because of their showroom which is lovely. HOWEVER I want to amend my review as my issue was a customer service issue. When someone from a business takes the time to email and gather more info, and then acknowledges your info, apologizes and indicates some sort of internal correction or addressing of your issue - I have great respect for that. Things happen in a business. Balls get dropped, mistakes happen, follow up falls through the cracks. I get that. All that we can do in business is to take responsibility for those times, apologize and continue to strive to do better. And so I say - enjoy SplashWorks. I have not purchased anything here because I've come in multiple times (3) but never received assistance. Yesterday, there were 4 employees sitting at their computers and one person behind the counter (assisting the ONE other person in the store). I was not offered any assistance or acknowledgment. This is the same experience I have had the other times I've been here. I suspect that because I look young and am not dressed like a Willow Glen stay at home mom, I am not taken seriously. When I remodeled my home in 2005 Spashworks (formerly Saratoga Plumbing Supply II) provided all my bathroom and kitchen fixtures. The quality was top notch, the prices were good, and the service was excellent. Recently, I needed to replace one fixture so I went back. The employee didn't try to sell me anything right away, even though I indicated that was my goal. He made a couple suggestions that might clear up the problem. I attempted both suggestions, but the problem persisted. At this point, I did purchase a new fixture. Overall, I found this type of service excellent as they easily could have sold me the new fixture without really knowing if it was even necessary. I will be back for any future needs. P.S. You likely will not get this kind of service at the big box stores. The price might be less, but the quality of service, and definitely the quality of merchandise, will be inferior to Splashworks. read more

Till today, we never seen any one so professional and works beyond their job. Even after we moved to our house when we had a few queries Tino is always there to reply to our emails. He is prompt in giving quotes and changing quotes when we go for different brands. He makes things less stressful. I appreciate splash works for hiring such professional and well mannered people. This is the best and only place I would recommend you go for your future kitchen/bathroom remodels. I originally purchased very high end unique faucets from Splashworks 8 years ago. Over time, some of the faucets became damaged and needed replacement parts. The manufacturer closed down during that time, so I figured that getting the parts would be a lost cause. I went back in with the expectation of just buying a new faucet but they informed me that they would first try to locate a replacement part and call me when it was in. It took a while, but they finally found the parts and provided them at no cost to me. The entire staff is highly knowledgeable and provides great customer service. read more

I write very few reviews, mainly because it is hard to find great service. I had bought bathroom fixtures for remodels from Splashworks in the past but not recently. I had an expensive Emtek door lever set that malfunctioned. After weeks of chasing the dealer I bought it from for Liftetime Warranty claim I looked for another local dealer. I noticed Splashworks on their dealer list and had a previous positive experience, so called them not expecting much since I didn't buy from them. Alison picked up the phone when I called and patiently listened to my long explanation of why i was calling. I expected a "if you didn't buy here we can't help you". To my surprise she diligently perused through catalogs, asked me to send pictures and put it on herself to call Emtek to help out for a warranty part. She called back and asked for my address to send me the part, no charge from Emtek!! Problem solved after months of using a knotted towel to open up a door and being let down by my original dealer where i spent several thousand dollars for door hardware!! We have been happy customers of Splash Works for several years. After 3 Kitchen and 6 1/2 bathroom remodels we never go anywhere else. Recently (4-16-20) our bathroom tub was having issues with the drain toe stopper. After removing the drain assembly I determined we needed a new complete drain assembly.. I made a call to Splash Works and spoke with Eric to not only get advice, but place an order for a new assembly. Eric requested I email him and send him a photograph of the already removed assembly. About 15 minutes later Eric called and told me he didn't think there was any problem with our drain. He gave me instructions on how to make an adjustment to the assembly, and how to reassemble it after too. After reassembling the drain as per his instructions, it worked perfectly. We trust Splash Works even more now! I'm not sure many plumbing suppliers would have done the same. I'm guessing others may have taken advantage of the situation and just order a new part. I went into Splashworks a few days ago and mentioned to him that my Rohl kitchen faucet was really loose and wobbly and that my plumber said there was no way to tighten it up. Eric asked me to send him a video of the loose faucet and he would send it to the local Rohl rep to see if he could help me. Yay, they are sending me a repair kit at no charge. Never again will I grace this doorstep. I didn't think a delivery could be as messed up as the delivery of a sink we tried to complete with the help of Splashworks. The order-taker we worked with gave us the wrong delivery date not once, but twice. Never did he call to apologize. Never did he call to tell us he was wrong. Only through our own investigation did we find out that he screwed up. I don't believe that a business so completely devoid of responsibility should be open and dealing with paying customers. Great showroom! Lousy customer service!!!!!! We went to this store TWICE and even though there were only a few other customers there, no one came over to help us. Even when we asked a couple of questions, we were given very curt responses. No smile, no "please give us a few minutes and we will help you out". Very very disappointed. The benefit of buying supplies locally is that when you have a problem, even twelve years later (we have also purchased more recently), they are there to help you find a solution. We bought a very expensive Grohe kitchen faucet. The spray nozzle stopped working properly. Splashworks ordered a replacement from Grohe (free if you kept your receipt). However the part did not seal correctly (leaked water) which meant a new hose. They got it from a local supplier instead of Grohe so we could get it fixed immediately. The plumber they recommended called us on a Sunday night and fixed the faucet the next day. That is customer service and customer loyalty. Remember: keep your receipt! read more

We remodeled 2 bathrooms last year and bought EVERYTHING at splashworks - from vanities to shower hardware, etc...their selection was great and the people helping you are knowledgeable and responsive. During my construction, i was working in Montreal 30% of the time - so being able to do things via email was critical. Tino assisted us throughout the process and was great. he sent me pictures via email so that i could select toilets and fixtures when the ones we wanted weren't available. Although the wait can sometimes be long - this is due to the fact that they have a lot of happy customers...so be patient! They aer worth the wait. read more

Do not purchase an EWS filtration system! The product does not function as advertised. The brochure is deceptive and the unit was also oversold by the SpashWorks salesperson. We contacted the sales rep and with some prodding they came to our home but did not offer any solution. They tested the water with an inexpensive stick tester that you can get at Home Depot ($10 for 50 strips) . Yes, it showed no chlorine but so did the unfiltered water from our outside hoses! No explanation was given for the same reading on the filtered and unfiltered water. The worst issue is that the "filtered" water is still corroding our plumbing fixtures which was one of the reasons we purchased the system. Save your hard earned money and skip buying this system. read more

Getting a brand spanking new kitchen and didn't want to buy the cabinet hardware at the local home improvement stores (L, HD). They are cheaply made - hollow - and I wanted something more substantial and better quality. Almost bought some from the very expensive home store (RH) at the mall. Happened to check out Splash Works before I placed my order at RH and I'm sure glad I did! I paid only a little more than L or HD and half the price at RH. The cabinet pulls are solid and heavy and have a beautiful finish. The service there is very friendly and I felt important even though I wasn't buying a big ticket item. And I was glad to support a neighborhood business over a large chain store! read more

If I could I would give 0 stars. I walked in to Splashworks over a month ago looking for a few things as I'm building a new kitchen and 6 bathrooms in my new home. As all the workers were chatting to themselves, nobody offered to help. I sat at the counter waiting for someone to offer to help for a few minutes before interrupting their conversation as I needed to go ( hungry toddler in hand). They said they would reach out to their contact for what I needed and email me once they heard back. 3 weeks went by and I emailed them asking for an update... no response. 2 more weeks... nothing. I was in the market for a nice kitchen sink when I stumbled onto SplashWorks while searching on the internet. When I first visited, I was impressed at the nice selection of high end kitchen sinks. John Atkinson helped me navigate the endless options and I narrowed it down to the Julien 16 gauge double bowl sink. Unfortunately once in Julien's hands things didn't go smoothly. It took 1 month for the sink to arrive and the sink was not square (bowls were not straight). John immediately called Julien and arranged for them to have a new one shipped out to me. It took another 7 days but the 2nd one looked great. I give John credit for the great experience I had with SplashWorks. Other employees were great as well and very helpful. Sometimes I like to buy things online but this is one purchase that I am happy I went to SplashWorks instead of buying online because I know I wouldn't have gotten a quick resolution to the crooked sink had I bought it online. If you don't mind paying full retail price in exchange for great advice, great service and professionalism, go to SplashWorks. They are worth it. read more

This store stole over $100 dollars of my money. I went to this store because I wanted to support local businesses. Initially they were very helpful with my order, until I purchased things and then they treated me terribly. First issue I came into the store to buy things for my bathroom remodels. My contractor told me what I needed to get and I planned to buy that. The woman there Joanne also showed my some fancy drains. I thought the looked nice, and I talked to her a lot about what exactly my plans for my shower was and she told me that the drain I purchased, on her suggestion, would work in my shower. It did not. There were three parts to the drain, none of which my contractor could use. When I tried to explain this she completely refused to acknowledge that she sold me something I couldn't use. She flat out said my contractor was wrong. My contractor obviously knows more about my shower that she does, she should have been willing to admit that she made a mistake. I was only able to return one of the 3 parts. The other 2 were a waste of my money and the store refused to take responsibility for selling me the wrong item. If for some reason you choose this store, don't listen to them. They just want to sell things not help people. Second issue, I ordered two bathroom faucets. I received one. I trusted the store to get my order correct, this was a mistake on my part. I asked the man who gave me the order if there was a problem if I could come back and they would fix it. He claimed that I could. Later when there was an issue I told this to Joann, and she said "He didn't mean that." I tried to tell them that I was missing a faucet and they basically interrogated me about it. They went around talking to each other saying things like, "IF I was missing the faucet it would be in the back", "IF it was missing why didn't I call right away?" It was extremely unprofessional. It turns out that Joanne had ordered 2 of the shower heads systems for my hall bathroom and no faucet for my master bathroom. I had assumed that the shower head with bar was in two boxes because it was a bigger item, so I hadn't noticed this yet. When she figured out her mistake, rather than admit this and apologize for wasting my time. She basically accused me of having an extra thing I didn't bring back. I had to make another trip to go get this and come back again to return it. And not so much as a simple apology for the mistake or for all the accusatory IF statements. I should bring them to court for the lost money, but I think it's worth $100 dollars to never have to speak to or deal with such awful people anymore. If for some reason you choose to do business with this company I sincerely hope you do not face any issues. They do not care about their customers, they only care about making money. Once they have yours they will stop being nice. read more
