Be prepared for a long line but once you get to the counter to order, the food comes out in a breeze. Ordered a tequila cocktail that was way too strong for my taste but I'm also a weakling when it comes to hard liquor. The short rib dish was too die for, with all the right ingredients and the perfect portion size for the price. Amazing food! This was our second time here and I'm just as impressed as the last visit. We went at a pretty busy hour (saturday evening around 6:30) and it was a challenge to watch the tables like hawks to make sure we got one after we ordered. It appears to be the policy that you have to order before you get a table so people aren't holding tables. Definitely makes sense, but also kind of stressful to decide at the very last minute before ordering if you'll be standing and eating your meal/drinking your drink, while you're waiting for a table, or you end up just getting it to go. But with that said, I like the small atmosphere. So it's definitely something to just deal with. Highly recommend it to guests of Bend. read more

The pork belly noodles are to DIE for. The meat melts in your mouth and the noodles are absolutely delicious.

Food is awesome. You can carry out and eat at home or at the riverside park. In my opinion, for the prices, the servings should be larger.

They had a good variety. Its a buy at the counter and buss your own table kind of place. I had the African peanut curry which was very spicy and hard to eat on its own. I went home and fried up some tofu with the curry and it was pretty tasty but you gotta eat it with something more bland and that has some texture as the curry itself didn't have much stuff in it other than being curry sauce. Spork is one of my top food spots in Bend. The flavors are out of this world and keep me coming back for more! The lomo saltado is so delicious and the grilled corn with cilantro and cotija cheese is possibly my favorite item on the menu. I came here because friends had raved about it. The food was alright, but not at the level I was expecting. The coconut curry was crazy spicy. I love hot things, but it was almost too spicy to enjoy and there was no warning about this or options for spice level. Also, care was not taken with the veggies, i.e. the green beans were fibrous, whole and had not been deveined. The staff was very friendly and the food was out quickly. Spork is one of our go-to's for tasty food and quick service. The food is really flavorful and I love their spicy green curry with catfish. Two notes: 1) they make limited use of vegetables - this is more a meat and rice kind of place; and 2) there is often a long line to order - don't be dissuaded, it moves quickly and the kitchen moves orders out fast. This was a great find in Bend. I was worried I might not be cool enough to eat here but I did anyway and I'm glad. They offer a great variety of delicious food prepared simply. we had three different entrees and the spiced yucca chips and everyone raved about their meals. plus their raspberry mate was awesome. Been there many times, but sorry to say that I haven't taken the time until now to write my review. We've had many of the items on the menu and everything is worth ordering. We've learned to get there early, as our only complaint is that the lines can sometimes be long just to place your order, but the foods does come out fast once ordered. Wish there was a way to speed up the ordering process but everything funnels through one cashier. But outside of that, everyone that works there is super friendly, and we've enjoyed conversations with strangers while standing in line. Street parking is easy, and prices are very reasonable. I would suggest going with several friends just to enjoy things family style and really give your taste buds a feast. read more

The food was good, but not great. My rice bowl was 90 percent rice. Cucumber salad was good but not five stars. It's pretty Hipster, and the lack of this type of place in Bend might be the reason for the high marks. Service is bus your own. The order taker was not rude but not very friendly either read more
