I have been using spotless cleaners for long time now. I have never got any single problem with them, these guys are super professionals. I always got my clothes back in a timely manner. All of my clothes are nice brands and they are expensive so I wouldn't take to any cleaners that I don't rely on that's why I always take my clothes to these guys because I know for 100% that none of my stuff will get get damaged. I haven't written a Yelp review in some time. In my advanced age, most of the places I go to are good but not good enough for me to get off my butt and write a review for. Spotless Green and specifically its owner/proprietor Nadir are the exception. Let's say that a friend who owed you money had an "accident" because he forgot to pay you back. Now his nice, white shirts are stained with blood and brass knuckle marks. Now let's say that maybe you want to be a nice guy, so you loan this "friend" another couple of bucks (with interest, of course) to get his shirts dry cleaned. Where should he go? To Nadir and Spotless Green. I have rarely, if ever, been to a business that has such great service and such a friendly owner. Nadir is ALWAYS happy to see me and knows me by name. He's not shy about dispensing advice of all types; clothing, life or relationship-related. His prices are extremely reasonable and his work is exemplary. Someone below described his attitude as "abrasive." That's really weird because all of the words I can think of to describe Nadir are positive adjectives like "nice, kind, professional and boiling." Any stain, special treatment, alteration, and everything in between - all I have to do is take it to Nader! These guys are NOT the best! Don't bother with this place. Brought in a queen size mattress pad to be cleaned. Was told they had to send it out because of its size. I said how much will it be. $80.00 I was told ... and it was printed on my receipt. A few weeks went by and I got a call from them: it was cleaned. $100! Went in and asked why didn't they call me about this price difference. He said they usually do. Not in this case!! Ridiculous. I thought $80.00 was unusually high. Never got a real answer from "Max" about this price bump. Just told him that he lost a customer .. he didn't seem to care.There is such a thing as "social media", which is why my suggestion would be to go elsewhere. I'm talking true genuine family AWESOMENESS... Try it. Walk in, say hello and the next time you walk in to pick up your cloths, Max (or his brother Al) will call you by name! No matter what kind of day you're having, a smile and a light hearted joke from Max or Al makes the world a better place as they focus on nothing but you and service for you... What if you're in a rush?? I've watched Max and Al take the dirty laundry out of the hands of "running late" customers at the door as they tell them "Not to worry we got you, have a great day" (and to see the relief look of "wow, thank you, this is awesome and what just happened" on their customers faces is proof of their family values of awesome)... Turn around time is incredible. Same day, no problem. You want something done for Wednesday they look at you and say "Tuesday it is"! And if you can't pick it up, their simple response is "no worries, we'll bring it to you". And just when you think it can't get any better (Insert heroic music here)... Their alterations team is the absolute best I've worked with. And I'm not just talking hem the jeans or shorten the skirt... I'm talking major alterations (Quick story: I lost quite a bit of weight to the point that nothing in my closet fit- but a lot of my clothes are one offs or special editions or just were really special to me so I didn't want to get rid of them. Max and his alterations team spent over three hours with me trying the cloths on, sizing them up, and then said- "ok don't worry, we got you"... when I picked them up, (Insert more awesome heroic music here) every piece of clothing they worked on was perfect! But for the next few weeks, every time I came in Max would remind me that if anything didn't feel right to me, to bring it back and they would make it right.)... With service like this you'd expect it to be super expensive or at least pretty pricy. I mean, you know the old adage - "you get what you pay for"... But here's the thing... Their prices are just as competitive or below their competitors prices on all services! It's that kind of family... So at the end of the day, you can go to any cleaner you want for dry cleaning, and I'm sure get your cloths pretty clean... But if you want someone to value you and your needs as family, and to value your cloths / blankets and all your other wear the way you do... then here is your home. Upon walking in the front door I was greated by the owner with a warm smile and a big hello! He was so friendly and ready to go through all of my clothes and make sure he cleaned them all perfectly. He also fixed a pants loop and made it look like new. Since it was my first time he gave me a deal and said it was a gift for coming in! Alright!! He asked if I was in a rush for anything because he said "I'm an old man. I like to take my time and get everything just right." I said of course I'm in no rush at all! Brought them in Wednesday afternoon and they were ready Saturday morning. I'm sure he can do things much quicker if you ask, but I wasn't in a rush. When I picked up my clothes they looked perfect. Picked up my most local dry cleaning spot off the ol' google machine... Just moved into the area last month and have been settling in I suppose... I don't have much clothes generally that are super nice but had to have some button ups done, which had been through quite a lot... (skate house grime)... this for an upcoming event I really wasn't to keen on... Regardless, I came in and was surprised on how well everyone seemed to acknowledge I just needed minor things done... Not a fifty load subject. Rather, the owner just did them all for free which was admirable... He explained briefly how well the cleaning would get done and what he would make happen and exactly described, did a wonderful job on the few pieces I had. I was siked... I've been back since... After reading all the good reviews written about this place I thought I'd give it a try. I was very disappointed. I went there to have some alterations done. The woman working there told me that she didn't know how to handle the alterations and that her manager wasn't there. She told me if I came back the next day they'd be able to help me. When I went back, the person working there told me that the manager was in the back and that he was busy on the phone. She asked me if I could wait a minute. I stood there in front of the counter for 10 minutes and nobody bothered to assist me. After 10 minutes of standing around and wasting my time, I left the place. Terrible customer service! If I could leave a negative star for the review I would. I don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I haven't even picked up my curtains yet but I am so pleased with the service, I can't help myself. I drove all around LA yesterday doing errands with an infant and after 5 hours, needless to say, we were both ready to get home. I came into the cleaners with 4 enormous curtains to be hemmed. The (who I am assuming is the owner) was personable, helpful, cheaper than Milt & Edie's where I originally tried, and even called me back today to say that he was going to press them for free because he wanted to make a mom and her baby smile and have a great day. They were noticeably a mess after lugging them around and trying to juggle all my other stuff as well. I think I found my new dry cleaners! read more

This was my first time using a dry cleaning service and this place was great! I was cleaning out my highschool closet and some of my favorite old dresses had gross mysterious stains and mold that had been there for years. The staff was very friendly and were up front about expectations--since the stains had been there so long, some of the dresses might be beyond help. Nonetheless they were able to do a great job removing these ancient stains--the dresses looked brand new! A++ Will definitely use this as my go-to dry cleaning shop in the future. The most incompetent cleaners I've ever interacted with. I came this morning to pickup my pants and I paid but forgot to grab my pants. I called back several hours later once I arrived to work and realized I did not have my pants with me. The man on the phone was very confused and said he would look into it and call me back. Of course he did not call me back so I called back and he was like I spoke to my brother max who helped you and max said you paid and picked your pants up. I reexplained for the second time that I paid but did not physically take my pants with me. Then I asked him why his brother max did not call me on the phone to tell me I left my pants. He said well he "called after you and you probably didn't here him." I said no again "call me on the phone to let me know I forgot to pick them up." His response was yeah idk....I said please just speak to your brother max and have my pants ready for me to grab at the front. He said, "okay yes sure thing" that was it. Didn't ask for my name. Ticket number nothing. Upon my arrival he's at the front sitting there my pants no where in sight. He proceeds with what's your name again. Let me call my brother. As if I did not just speak to him on the phone and asked him to have it figured out and the pants ready for me to grab and go especially because I had already paid. This man calls his brother and while the phone is ringing I ask him to go in the back and physically check. While he's on the phone with his brother he says "my brother max says you came this morning to pick your pants up." Now I'm not sure if it was a language barrier but I literally had to explain it to this man for a THIRD TIME. I told him "my pants that I paid for are here. Find them right now. And hand them to me so I can leave." Then 7minutes later he gets off the phone and he's like "let me check" and low and behold there my pants were...of course like I said the entire time -________- all that wasted time and frustration that could have been prevented had he simply listened but even that he was incapable of doing. I took two very expensive T Shirts for dry clean they shrink them both by washing instead of Dry Clean should I told them to be very careful with them and dry clean only! Also one shirt had moth holes was not there before. They refused to put in a claim just said bring it back we will stretch it Really! Don't trust them and take anything of value. TRUST ME, THIS IS THE RARITY OF ALL DRY CLEANERS! I stumbled in from a lunch next door (Mediterranean) to give my 3 garments a dry clean at yet another dry cleaners business. I think since living in the Studio City/Noho area, I have put my clothes in the hands of 5 dry cleaners. Throughout Life so far, I have used dozens and dozens of dry cleaners here in Cal and in other states. Spotless is the #1 Spot Holder, because of one the authentic customer service from Owner Nader. He approached me like a family member from the first moment I stepped in. He explained to me that one of my denim jeans was never dry cleaned before, when I was told it had been dry cleaned. He explained to me the process of which he goes through with the water filtration system and non abrasive chemicals. I was super impressed with such an introduction. There are people that "get it" and Nader "gets it"!. For the quality that I received on customer service and the quality of care with my denim, you would imagine it would be expensive right??? Wrong..................Nader priced me at less than$3.00 for my denim......What???????!!!!!!!!!!!! I stared and Nader and realized their are a few still out there that run businesses with Integrity......!!! Take your clothes here period! read more

I used this dry cleaner for over 2 years and the service was good. The owner was friendly and prices were decent. However, they mixed up my clothes with other customer in the beginning but fixed the problem since then... at least for me! The real problem started couple of weeks ago when one of my shirts had oil spots all over the front and back. Nadir the owner claimed that the stains were there prior to cleaning and stated that he washed the shirt 3 times but the stains would not come out. When I got upset and told him that I was not going to pay for the cleaning service, he got defensive and started accusing me that I brought the shirt in that condition. We argued for a little bit and he said he would try one last time. Couple days later the stains magically disappeared and when I asked what he did to remove the stains, we stated "NOTHING" was done out of the ordinary, just washed and pressed....and this was your 4th time washing this shirt and only this time it magically disappeared??? WOW REALLY! To top it all off, I took in my $1000 dollar converter set to have them dry cleaned. I picked them up and when I get home "SURPRISE" big fat black machine stain on the top middle of the converter cover??? REALLY!! So I take it back and the owner apologizes and acknowledged that the stain came from the press machine and that was what caused the black mark. I picked it up the 2nd time and went home to find that only 50% of the black stain was removed! So, I go back "AGAIN" for the 3RD time and "NOW" he claims that the stain was there before and he spent hundreds of dollars extra to make it right. OMG... is this guy out of his mind for me to think that he did something special?? Please! We had a heated argument and he decided that he would make one last attempt to remove the stain. I picked it up now for the 4th TIME and the stain is 95% removed, however, now the converter cover is DISCOLORED & SMELLED FROM ALL THE CHEMCIALS!! GREEN PRODUCTS MY A$$!!! They are the nicest people when everything is good but when something goes wrong.... they will be your worst NIGHTMARE!! STAY AWAY!! read more

Just picked up my husband's suit (which cost an extra $12 RUSH FEE for Friday afternoon drop off, Saturday pick up after 4pm) and the first thing I notice is a stain on the collar of his white shirt. The girl offered for him to bring the shirt back after he wears it to our event tomorrow night (which means I have to spot clean it myself), but why bother? $35 and a sloppy job, not worth coming back. read more

Have 3 issues with them: - STAINS were not removed (brought over 50 shirts to this place in one shot and absolutely ALL the clothes that had stains still had all the same stains after the wash/dry clean, - no refund was issued. Nadir offered to redo those but with charging money AGAIN for the same clothes). - several NEW minor stains were placed on clothes during dry clean, (it is not a big deal as they were easily removable, but the owner's reaction was inadequate and offensive). - untruthful, abrasive and very defensive owner (initially he made an impression of a nice and accommodating man, someone who takes pride in his job, but this is a complete FAKE....in a critical situation, you will see his REAL face). read more

I went to this place based on some of the yelp reviews. They did a great job on dry cleaning. When I saw they did alterations I had a pair of designer pants hemmed, taken in, and shortened. There were small holes in the pants as well and they were able to fix them as well. They did a great job so I took some other alterations to them. There were 12 shIrts that mostly needed shortening and taken in. Nader took his time and went through each shirt and repeated back what was needed in detail. Due to this I had every bit of confidence there would be no problem. Unfortunately, there were several. Most of the clothes looked amazing, but a few pieces looked like rush jobs and one was totally screwed up. I brought a shirt in with two slide slits. Nader asked me if I wanted the shirt hemmed straight across or if I wanted to retain the slits. I chose to retain the slits. However, the shirt came back with one side with the slit retained and the other side hemmed straight across. It was ridiculous. I gave it back to them to fix and this time it came back with 2 slits, but one side of the slit was hemmed ONE FULL inch shorter. When I pointed this out Nader quickly became defensive and said it was already like that. I told him I had a photo that it wasn't. When I reiterated what we had discussed in the past he said he said, I kid you not, "We don't make the sides to match unless the customer tells us to." Having my intelligence insulted I informed him that it was common sense. Then he finally admitted that he didn't know what the shirt looked like before, but remembers THEY messed it up and if I wanted the sides to be even he would fix it. He also said I brought him in so many shirts they got backed up. When I looked at the shotty hem I pointed how bad it looked, he said it was hard to work with and it had to be hand sewn, which was a lie. It had a hem done by a serger. Further, it that were the case why wasn't the rest of the shirt screwed up? Nader demonstrated that he is capable of lying to cover his ass rather than taking responsibility for their mistakes. When I got home, I looked closer at the other hems and two of the blouses are just poorly done. They're crooked and overlapped on the fabric. As if someone did them who can't even thread a machine. It's as if he has 2 people doing them the work is so inconsistent. HORRIBLE. It's one thing to get crappy work, but when a small business owner is dishonest about it thus trying to put the blame on the fabric and the customer, that's just unacceptable. Fantastic service, great results. We discovered feral cats had ruined a large number of beautiful old kilim cushions and rugs which we had in our basement. They were completely soaked and stinking of cat urine, rotting, and had been scratched, pulled and damaged by the cats-a nightmare. Nader's team did an incredible job of cleaning and restoration, replacing cushions backs, stitching and repairing the kilim itself, and removing the smell in all the cushions. I had Spotless dry clean one of my favorite black silk jacket a few months ago and it was damaged with cloudy water spots; the attendant stated that the fabric must have been defective and he suggested I take the jacket back to Banana Republic which I thought was nonsense because I've taken this jacket to another cleaners before and never had an issues with the fabric. Brought in new shirt that had wine stains all over (and i mean all over). Really was not hoping for anything, but decided to try anyway. Came back to pick it up, and sure enough, stains had remained. A good business is not just measured by the quality of their work but, I would argue, also the customer service. I've seen both in dry cleaners, but rarely at the same time. Many friendly places with so-so quality. A few good quality places with so-so service. Honestly, Nadir is the best. My new clothes have stayed new. No fading. No aging. No broken buttons. Most importantly, they use materials that don't have that chemical smell as other dry cleaners have. Nadir is one of the friendliest people you will run across. If you like, he will tell you anything you want to know about dry cleaning, or perhaps anything else! He is a stellar businessman and really knows how to care for clients as if they were friends. It's gone under new management and it seemed to lack the professionalism and kindness with the prior management. The person I dropped off my clothing with seemed to have an "anything goes" attitude. When he told me a simple sweater would take four days, I asked why it would take so long when the prior owner would have an entire suit cleaned in less time. He then asked me when I wanted it. I love this place! I have been coming here for over 3 years and never had anything but a great experience. They charge half the price of all the big spots in town and do way better work. I was always buying new shirts after the 10th wash or 3-4 months after buying them due to the color fading but after coming to spotless my shirts have lasted 2 to 3 times longer. The owner has stopped me at least 20 times from over spending when I wanted to dry clean a shirt that he instead didn't need it and a wash will do. They take the time to explain to you in detail what you need and never rush you out. Nader the owner also has over 25years of experience and it shows. I never had one garment damaged, or done less then perfect. I have moved 10 miles away 2 years ago but trust no one else with my dry cleaning. read more
