I am soooo impressed with the SpringHill Suites hotel and staff! EVERYONE who I've encountered in this hotel has been more than welcoming and nice. Nothing was ever too much to ask! After a long trek of Fairfields, I stumbled upon the SpringHill while traveling to Bloomington. Located in the middle of downtown, this newly renovated gem immediately won my affection with the pleasant staff that checked me in. It was quick (mobile) and easy and the lobby smelled new and clean. They have a decent market, but the real win is the downstairs lobby bar. They pour stiff drinks and pour em late, so this is a perfect place for after a basketball game, or just to unwind after a long work day. It is walking distance from some of the best restaurants in Bloomington and has underground (paid) parking. My next time through Bloomington will definitely result in a stay here again. read more

For the past several years I've always stayed at this hotel when I visited Bloomington. The rooms are always fresh and clean and the staff has always been extremely courteous and helpful. Best IU Homecoming experience, thanks to this hotel. Arrived to only stay one night and leave after the game. However, after the pre-game activities at the hotel, decided to stay an extra night. The rooms were modern and included everything you would need for a weekend stay. The service was like that of a bed and breakfast. The hotel was walking distance from all of the downtown B-town excitement. Great choice! read more

Great hotel! Super friendly staff and clean rooms/facilities. We had a large group of alumni stay here and everyone had great things to say about the place. The location is nice as it is an easy walk to campus. Parking may cost $7/night but it is worth the convenience. There is free weekend street parking close by for those looking to save a few bucks. The free breakfast was great and there is yogurt, fruit and coffee/tea available throughout the day. This hotel is probably nicer than some of the pricier Marriott or Renaissance hotels that I've stayed at recently. Rooms are also really well sound-proofed for those worried about noise in a college town. It's nice to have a spacious quality/clean hotel in Bloomington now! read more

Great location. Easy in and out parking. Covered parking in deck attached to hotel. Nice when bad weather. Hotel bar is well appointed and breakfast is super. Efficient layout with hot and cold breakfast foods. Most rooms have luxury step in showers and the rooms are big. Super work desk with lots of plugs. Good HD TV. Plenty of coffee and the rooms got cleaned quickly. As lifetime Marriott Platinum Preferred this new hotel has earned its stars. The beds are new and firm with nice pillow top and really nice bedding and comforters. Good execution from check in to check out. Worth the money. I found my place to stay in Bloomington. Ruined our trip by cancelling our hotel room the afternoon we were set to arrive (called it a "glitch" in their system). Tried to offer us a room at a different hotel that was not comparable in quality or location. Our reservation was booked many weeks in advance, and we could have easily booked at a different hotel nearby for a similar price. As someone who often visits Bloomington, I will not be giving this hotel a second chance. read more

Stayed for a girls weekend trip and we were really impressed with this hotel. I recommend paying for parking when booking your room for a cheaper rate. We parked and due to the great downtown location we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go even with cooler temps and light rain. They also have bikes available free to guests. The staff was friendly and welcoming, they even brought a gift of wine and candy to our room since I was celebrating a recent birthday. Thanks again, Lexi! Breakfast was delicious and well stocked. The room was fantastic. It was clean and so comfortable we didn't want to get out of our beds! Also enjoyed the living area. It was so nice not to have to sit on the beds when relaxing in the room. Ridiculously nice. Clean, modern design. Beautifully appointed rooms with great work spaces. Spotless. And this is not the best part of my visit. The staff is the star here. I couldn't get a treadmill running and a housekeeper solved the problem. There was a tiny back-up at registration and the bartender came racing over. I had a brief chat with a housekeeper on the fourth floor. She was engaging and helpful. This reflects a productive and customer - oriented work culture. Excellent hotel close to downtown with friendly, well informed staff and parking garage attached. Clean, comfortable rooms, extremely convenient to town, university, dining and entertainment. This hotel should really have more reviews for as good as they were, however, there are only 2 at the time of my writing. Nonetheless, this hotel was our knight in shining armor when we went through the pains of a first move-in day to our new house. 2am: water knob in shower breaks off, water gushing out uncontrollably, emergency maintenance not responding, we turn off the main supply, without water we need to spend the rest of the night elsewhere to shower and have use of the, ahem, facilities. We call a first hotel, but they only have one room left (we need two). They offer a discounted rate, but we really need the 2 rooms for all of us. They recommend this new place. We call and they have the rooms, put them on hold until we can show up about 45min later, allow us the same discounted rate as the previous hotel and also comp us the parking fee for the hassle. Ben, you are gold F*#&ing star! The rooms were immaculately clean, decked out with Paul Mitchell shampoos and soaps, and breakfast the next morning was nothing to sneeze at, either. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, an oatmeal station and Belgian waffles. All in all, a great experience for a crappy day of labor and hassle. TL;DR This place rocked. read more

If I could give SpringHill Suites in Bloomington 6 stars I would. My wife and I got married in Bloomington and used this hotel to block rooms for our guests and everything could not have worked out more perfectly. Not only is the hotel in an ideal location, but from the moment we booked the block the staff could not have been more helpful and responsive. They stayed on top of our room count, adding additional rooms as needed, and when our 70+ guests checked into the hotel they handled everything with ease, distributing our goody bags and always making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel has some of the cleanest and best designed hotel rooms I've ever been in, with a sitting area in each room that is separated from the beds, and spacious and clean bathrooms. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bloomington, and particularly if you need multiple rooms for an event! read more

The staff here are just Outstanding! They go above and beyond for all guests. My room is spotless with a great layout and in the room there is anything you will need to function. They even put a wrapped paper plate and utensils inside the microwave nice touch. The location of this property is as good as it gets every major point is right outside the door. My bed is heaven and the lighting in the room is great light when you need it and ambient when you want to wind down. My room has a fantastic view as well. Just great all around. read more

This hotel is the worst in Bloomington. They recently charged me a no show fee when I actually stayed at the hotel and refused to credit my account. Last fall, we made a reservation but when we arrived, they'd given away our room and the hotel was full. They're customer service is the worst in Bloomington. Stay elsewhere unless you like getting ripped off. read more

My family came down to Bloomington for a weekend and booked a two-bed studio on the fifth floor. We've had bad luck in the past with dumpy hotels and far-out locations, but this hotel was simply amazing. First, the room was clean, modern, and easily fit two adults and two teenagers. There were two queen-sized beds, as well as a pull-out full bed from the couch. The location was fantastic as well! It was about three blocks from the main square, and because the parking in their garage is included in your stay, we didn't have to worry about metered parking around the downtown area. As far as amenities, they had a bar (that's sadly only open after 4pm), as well as a little convenience store and a killer continental and complimentary breakfast every day from 7-10am. The breakfast included coffee, various baked good such as danishes, muffins, and bagels, as well as make-your-own waffles, yogurt, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and fruit drinks. No fresh fruit that I could see, but the rest definitely made up for it. You can tell they're still working some kinks out, having been open for under a year. My only problem was that we had to put the sheet on the pull-out full bed, which was cumbersome. However, the sheets were brand new and came packaged in the closet, so at least we knew they were washed. I definitely plan on staying here again the next time family comes to visit. read more

Everything about this hotel was absolutely great! I did mobile check in prior to my arrival and the front desk had everything ready for me when I got there. Literally took 2 minutes to get to my room. I was very surprised to see just how big the room was! I had a 2 queen room and it was huge! The room was very clean and had all the amenities. My room was cleaned as needed and always timely. The staff was extremely nice and accommodated whatever I needed. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Bloomington. read more

SpringHill Suites is now the only hotel we choose when visiting our son at IU. The hotel is modern and new. Rooms are consistently clean and well-maintained. It's nice to have extra space with both a desk and a sofa especially if one of us wants to stay up later. Finally, the free breakfast is delicious and quick. Trust me, we've stayed at many hotels in Bloomington, and this is the best! read more
