Sprouts is a great place to shop. The store was clean, well organized, and everything was easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The produce selection was fresh and plentiful, and the meat department had a good variety of quality options. Prices run a little higher than some of the larger grocery chains, but that's not unexpected in today's economy. Overall, a very pleasant shopping experience. I'll continue coming back. read more

Their sale prices considerably exceed the regular prices of other stores--even "high end" ones. Kept thinking I was shopping in Hawaii or Alaska with such sticker shock. It's been an issue for a long time, but it also bears mentioning that this place is about as far from a farmers' market as it gets. I shop here regularly. Great hours. Always clean. Examine the shelves closely and you'll find new gems on a regular basis. Most of the foods that I have purchased here have been excellent. I appreciate greatly having alternatives to dairy, gluten, peanuts, soy, unsweetened, etc. We also enjoy the European heritage foods that are available. We can recommend their turkeys and appreciate their sugar-free pies. My family barely ever drinks alcohol anymore, but there is also a good selection of beer and wine. The more products I see from Arizona itself, the happier I am, and there has been an increase in that type of rare availability as well. Thank you! However, just recently, I purchased from the Organic Bulk Beets *the worst* beets that I have ever tasted...actually, the only bad tasting beets I'd ever made: flavorless mostly with a tang of bitterness! I'm not picky, but they really were inedible (surprising too bc the cut stems look quite fresh). I also paid $4 for sour raspberries, purchased to share with a family member, that was a disappointment. Also be careful with Sprouts own brand of products of vegan/dairy-free items, I've been burnt with moldy products repeatedly. And bring your own bag. They charge a fee for each of their own bags and you don't really know what the government does with that money. I'm not a fan of scams. Minus a point for constantly begging me for money (for charities they choose) when I ring up, as well as NEVER asking me for my phone number to potentially access discounts. Tsk. read more

One thing I always look for in a grocery store is this it clean? the store was very clean. The other thing is the staff, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They're not totally organic but they have quite a bit of organic stuff. They were working on making sure everything looked well stocked and orderly. The vegetables seem to be plentiful and for a typical family grocery store that seemed like they had a fair selection of organic items. They also had grass-fed beef and bacon that was uncured. They have a deli area which has some blackened fresh turkey that I like. They have a small little bakery area.Their baked goods are pretty good too they have half loaves of bread which I think you're really nice. They also have some individually prepped items which are good for a senior that may want to not have to prepare everything. They even have some Frozen organic items which were particularly of interest to me. They also had an extensive selection of vitamins and other individual health care items. I've been when it's been crowded and not crowded and the line through the checkout area has always been fast. It's a complete higher quality grocery store with about everything that you could want. They also have their own brand of fresh organic free range eggs at a reasonable price. There was a woman complaining about how high price the eggs were and I said well they're less than a $5 cup of coffee at Starbucks. I have no problem paying a little more to keep farmers in business especially locals. read more

Let me preface by saying I hate giving low reviews & will only do so if I truly think it is A) warranted, B) necessary in order to help the business improve to *better serve customers* in the future. This used to be one of my favorite grocery stores in the area & I'd always describe it to people as "if you can imagine a hybrid in-between a Whole Foods & Trader Joe's..." but definitely no more- I'll explain below. I can deal with a few minor things but what I can't deal with: BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE = BAD EXPERIENCE. Plain & simple! So here we go... I like their beverage selection. They have the Yerba Mate I like, as well as my favorite coconut water, this unique collagen canned tea, etc. So after pedicures with my mom, we decide to drive 15 mins in the opposite direction to go specifically to Sprouts because we had a $10 off $75 coupon from last time. So we intentionally get $75 worth of beverages & blueberries! Go to check out, have the photo of the bar code & everything on my phone- & the manager doesn't let us use it saying it's like cash. That's not true, I worked in retail as an intern. You can type the numbers of the bar code & the system will register it's been used. Also it's 2022 people- I've spent the past year getting into shows/concerts/etc with my vaccination card on my phone! Ok, moving on. Their beverage selection is spread out all the freak over the place like some sort of treasure hunt! Their blueberry muffins are the worst compared to the two other stores I mentioned above. My dad hates their produce. Loves their cherry turnovers. They have a good selection of dairy free ice cream. read more

Pretty good selection of different natural foods. You have to watch the pricing, some items will be more expensive than Whole Foods and other items will be cheaper. Walmart carries some of the same items at a cheaper price. Customer service could have been better. The cashier was super friendly to the lady in front of me and when it was my turn to checkout, it felt like my presence was inconveniencing her even though I wasn't being rude. It's always fun when the customer has better customer service than the cashier. Normally I would just chalk this up to having a bad day, but the contrast in how she acted from the previous customer to me seemed like that wasn't the case. Overall, I recommend Natural Grocers which is nearby, has most of the same items and quite a few that Sprouts doesn't carry at generally a better price.. staff is always pretty nice. I love love love ALL sprouts in Tucson, but this is my 1st, bestest, #1 for extra friendly help, fantastic selection, great cashiers, get excited to buy real food again. All the Sprouts labeled selections are really quality so do try them, too. All in all, we I've found cool gifts, great desserts, ready to cook at home meals that I'm excited about (salmon ready to pop in oven, me oh my), the frozen selection is great, but my jam is the fresh veg produce fruit and..oh crap, it's also the ridic GF bread selection - extra wide, they've got extra wide GF bread and killer desserts. Today while I was at the store doing some shopping we have Darren who is the demonstrator for the store he puts out different items when he's working for people to try one of the best things the store has now to offer it lets people test things to see if they would like them today he is having a cookie table, build your own holiday cookie with all kinds of the fixings anybody that would like to come in and try some of his delicious cookies made right in the store, you can purchase all these items in the store to make the cookies come and try excellent and very delicious. Everybody in the store is amazing. Always there to help you one of my favorite places too shop. I was shopping at this store yesterday. I purchased 16.50 worth of food. The register I was at had a card reader that acted up. It accidentally charged me 40$ more. The cashier wanted to know if I wanted the cash or for her to reimburse my card. I asked her to reimburse my card. She gave me a receipt for doing that. When I got home and checked my bank account it showed a charge of $56.50 not the 16.50 and no reimbursement of $40. I called and spoke with the cashier and she said it will show up in my bank tonight after all processing for the day is done. I checked my account this morning, crickets, no reimbursement. I called the store and spoke with the manager, Jordon. He told me the only way to get my money back is to return to the store. I explained I am an hour and a half drive away it would cost me 20$ in gas to get there and back. He told me it was the only way to get my money back. I asked for the number for corporate and he gave it to me. I explained again it will take 3 hours of my time and $20 in gas to retrieve $40 and this was not acceptable. He did admit they made the error and this is what I get! I called corporate and they had me on the phone for 30 minutes while they researched the issue at hand. They said the only way to get my $40 back was to go back to the store. She offered a $10 gift certificate to try and appease me. SO I guess corporate values my time of 3 hours and gas costs of $20 Worth a $10 gift certificate. I used to love Sprouts. I would shop there everytime I visited Tucson. But now I will shop there onece more to spend the $10 and get my $40 after having to spend $20 in gas and give up 3 hours of my time. I would suggest avoiding this store completely. The way they handled this situation in even admitting they were wrong is still totally unacceptable. This is how they value their customer!!! read more

Love getting my fruits and vegetables here and seafood for the hubby. Always a nice selection of regular and organic items. When they offer coupons you can't go wrong....just scored $10 off of $50 or more. The salad bar and soup stand are still not up and running, since COVID. However, the bulk bins are back open. I will say I did like having all the bulk bins pre-measured and bagged during COVID but wish they could have done some smaller size bags. I'm not much of a fan of the bulk bins being back open and people just helping themselves with COVID still lingering around and other sanitary issues. read more

Maybe it was just an off day, but because of their customer service from a floor associate, i literally walked out and ordered my supplements online. She made a point of completely ignoring me, walking right by, and helping everyone else around me. not a single time she asked if i needed help. I have been going to this sprouts on a weekly basis for the past 8 years. Since COVID there are many changes. They are definitely one of the more cleanest supermarkets around. Wear masks most of the time, wipe down their conveyer belts most of the time, wipe carts/baskets always. But I did notice a change in their quality of products recently, hence I have been going there less frequent. Also noticed less shoppers, hopefully this won't last long. read more

100% of my complaint with Sprouts is they have no express lane and never have enough checkout people. So frustrating! Frys and Safeway are getting larger and larger organic sections based on customer demand and they have way better customer service. Sprouts better start caring about serving their customers better. Nobody has time to stand in lines3 or 4 people deep!!! Update:2019- nothing has changed. Virtually every store within 10 miles is infinitely better at checkout lines. Wholefoods, Trader Joe's, Frys and Safeway all kick Sprout's butt in customer service. I go to Sprouts rarely for this reason. Safeway yells 'Three's a crowd' over the intercom if the line gets to three people. They rush to open up more lanes. Not Sprouts. Excellent produce and great customer service. If you shop on Wednesday you get deals from double ad day. This is the best way to save a ton of money while eating healthy. I usually start in the deli and order a sandwich to be made while I shop. They are delicious and made just as you order. They cost only $2.99 and it's big enough for two lunches. They have a great selection of Gluten free items. The store is always stocked up. The prices are great and they will give you five cents bag credit for each reusable bag you bring in and use. Talk about miserable human beings. Went to order a deli sandwich and the woman making the sandwiches (short, redish/brown hair) was a extremely rude and uninviting. Didn't say hello or acknowledge me, along with others standing around. Just kinda of threw sandwiches on the counter as she made them. I've only ordered from the deli a few times and that seems to always be my experience. Suggestion: You should have a basket or something that says, "place orders here" because everyone stands around with their papers not knowing where to put them so that the cheery sandwich lady sees them. When I went to check out, I came across yet another cheerful human being at the register. Maybe if she learned how to smile or look like she gives a crap about her job she would give customers a better experience and better yet, enjoy her job! I've noticed that most of your negative reviews are only about poor customer service and how your employees never smile and aren't welcoming. I think if you found a way to boost moral or hire better candidates you would have all five stars because the store is always extremely clean and stocked! read more

Twice she messed up my wrap and give me the evil eye cause i asked for spinach wrap. I will just go back to whole foods and pay $3 more for my wraps. I used to love this store, but the produce manager at this location, Eric, is complacent and nonchalant about mites in his produce. I called to tell the store that there were mites in the broccoli I bought at this location. (They were found by my daughter after we had already started to eat it.). And there were a lot of them, not just a few, in the 2 stalks we purchased. My concern was that it would infest the produce area and that they should pull it before anyone else bought it. Eric was unapologetic and basically said it happens and all he can do was give me a refund. Really? I was trying to do them a favor by letting them know, and my call to him was a burden and he was defensive and couldn't give a rat's. I will not be returning to this location and am disappointed that a produce "manager" would have this reaction to produce that does not meet quality control standards. A simple inspection would have obviated the issue, and perhaps it was my mistake to assume that I can buy broccoli at Sprouts that is not infested with mites. read more

I can't knock Sprouts great selection of fruit and veggies yet dealing with their rude employees has me wondering if it's even worth the drive. Cashier was rude, neglected to greet or thank me, didn't ask if I wanted plastic or paper bags and threw all my fruit into one plastic bag which ripped halfway into my house. "A cheaper version of Whole Foods," is what I hear from people often, but I wouldn't really compare them. Sprouts is known for great prices on produce. I'd say that's a fair statement although I'm not entirely impressed with their produce or fish selection. The rest of the items can be found at Trader Joes or Whole Foods and for sure the bulk items can be found at the CO-OP. I'm not sold yet. The reviews of their deli and prepared food items are stellar, so perhaps I'll have to try those sometime. read more
