I really appreciate Sprouts .I like the produce, deli, bakery , vitamins/ health department .Every department looks clean and fresh.

Like to shop here. Although it's always busy during the day. Parking could be better. The parking spots are tight. There is too much happening in that small plaza. I suggest going when they open the doors or 2 hours before closing. I have had a few instance when I tried to return a product and the manager takes forever to locate or the cashier is annoyed. Recently, I ordered sandwiches that were not made as I ordered. I called the store 3X and no answer. Overall, customer service can be improved. read more

I absolutely love this little market. The prices are fair and the produce is excellent. I literally bought enough veggies for the week for under 10 bucks. They have a bunch of barrels of dry goods also. My wife and I bought scoop fulls of almonds, granola and other like items. Look for their sales because they have some of the best. The place is small but is packed! The cashiers are friendly and so are the butchers. I try to come here as often as possible. read more

The sandwiches made a the Deli Counter aren't what they used to be. The current selection of craft sandwiches is greatly diminished from what was available until about a year ago. I could live with that fact, but what I cannot accept is that the bread used to make them is consistently stale to the point of falling apart. Lots of good, fresh produce, and the meat counter is the best in Surprise. This store definitely appeals to the white hairs. At almost 60, I believe I was the youngest patron in the store. Surprisingly good prices! I picked up lamb chops for under $5 per lb. As it is within walking distance of my home, it will be my go to place for food! read more

The staff shelving and on the floor are helpful and nice. The selection of organic and natural foods is good. The store has been very clean each time I went in. The staff in the deli/bakery are awful. Twice I have stood at the counter waiting while the staff look directly at me and either keep arranging the deli meats in the cooler or continue their conversations. More than once I have given up and walked away. There are Safeway, Frys, Target, other choices for groceries not to mention Amazon for any personal care or household stuff. First visit, tried the deli "Special of the Day" sourdough bread was really dry but the price was very reasonable, I will give it another chance... Liked the assortment in every department. FYI: Not everyone was 102, Deli Staff was cordial and helpful and we got through the checkout in less than 10 minutes. I went there on a Friday evening and experienced the worst customer service I've ever encountered at a grocery store. There too few employees present to service the number of customers there and many were simply stocking shelves, which made shopping difficult. There was only one women working at the deli meat/sandwich counter and she refused to acknowledge us for about 5 minutes even though she was not busy. When we finally got her attention, she was extremely rude. As far as checking out went, they had only 2 lines open with each line containing 5-6 separate people waiting so it took us roughly 15-20 minutes to check out. I was short on time and my wife wanted me to pick up a few things at Sprouts before I returned home. I found just what she needed quickly, but I needed something to eat. This store was lovely to visit and it was my first time shopping with sprouts! The produce looked amazing and all the employees were extremely helpful! Tristan in produce helped me find multiple items and seemed to be very knowledgeable of the store as well as the produce! Chris in dairy was also delightful as he helped me with a couple questions that I had about the different milk selections! Going paleo, gluten free or just looking for any kind of health food? This is the place to go! I like the layout of the store, it makes it easy to locate everything. The con to that is that the isles are very small & you'll always be in someones way! The pro is that everyone there wants to be there & they are therefore friendly & don't get grumpy when you are trying to figure out exactly 'how' will you be able to go around each other without knocking anything or anyone over :) Also, is it natural for teenage employees to be so,,,,, friendly & helpful??? I was weary of their smiles & friendly questions at first, but I'm now convinced it was genuine, lol! Fresh Mozarella......check. Good Balsamic.......check. Heirloom Tomatoes.....check. Just needed fresh basil for a yummy caprese salad. Sprouts sells a large bag for almost $4 as opposed to other places that sell those little tiny plastic containers for almost $3. The only drawback was they've been out for about a month and I can never find it. When the manager was asked, he said he would look into it, apologized and handed me 4 of the little containers for FREE! How sweet is that? Abashedly, I had to accept. It reminded me of another situation at the same store when the deli ran out of gyro meat. In actuality, she was too lazy to go back and cut more. The manager checked and sure enough found a huge hard to miss hunk and made the lady cut four packages of the stuff for me. He wouldn't allow me to pay for them, so I ended up with enough gyro meat to feed the world gyros! So one star less only because other employees made me have to talk to a manager, but great reviews for wonderful customer service on behalf of the manager. Now THAT is what keeps a customer coming back! read more

Spouts is the perfect alternative to the crowded, everyday grocery store. I love the shopping experience at Sprouts because of the vast array of fruits/veggies (both organic and not) as well as the freshest of the fresh meats/poultry/seafood. They have bulk items (try the chocolate covered almonds they are to DIE for!) and a large selection of coffees. (although I am partial to a little coffee shop that starts with an "S" so I can't say I have ever tried their coffee) The customer service is really great here and people are always very helpful and friendly. A word to the wise...go on a Wednesday when you can earn the savings from the prior weeks ad IN ADDITION TO the current weeks ad. This often can add up to some great savings! read more

Sprouts is a pretty good option for grocery stores in the area. There are a lot of healthy options, but you have to be careful as I have noticed quite a few products which are mislabeled as healthy options... Including some products, which on the shelves were labeled as organic and non-GMO, but on the packages, they were clearly neither. I was quite disappointed that they automatically started putting our purchases in plastic bags without giving the option of paper. When asking if I could please use my own bag along with a paper bag, the cashier rolled her eyes and gave an audible gasp of annoyance. I feel like sprouts likes to pretend it's loaded with all sorts of fantastic, healthy options, but the healthy products are really interspersed with all sorts of pretend healthy products. read more

1st of all, this is a grocery store, not a farmer's market. I think it's perfect other than that. They have awesome produce, and a great variety that you don't find in the supermarkets. They have a nice selection of vegetarian products and bulk foods (mmm baked tofu). Baked goods are out of sight. I am a pastry snob and I cannot say enough about their breads and danishes. Multi-grain croissants? Sounds impossible but they're so delicious. Right now I am eating an undisclosed number of their assorted mini danishes--some of the best I've ever eaten. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite grocery stores b/c I can usually find everything I need here at better prices than even the larger 'discount' warehouse across the street. The bulk section is my favorite b/c it allows me to try out new things without committing to an entire package of something that I may not ever want to use/consume again. The other benefit to shopping here is that the portions are usually for things I can handle as a single person. For example, I bought a 5 lb bag of flour for a recipe that required 1 cup. Now I have a 5 lb bag of flour on my shelf minus a cup. This was back in the day before I discovered the bulk bins @ Sprouts. Now, I can buy cheese in small containers anywhere from $1.25+ and heck, if I wanted flax seed, I could get as little or as much as I wanted from the bulk bins. I probably won't buy flax seed anytime soon but the point is I have reasonable options people!!!! read more

I love, love, love Sprouts! Yes I said that three times! Just make sure you go to this location after 5pm or else you'll be swamped by herds of old people on motorized scooters. Sprouts always has great sales going on and the bulk items are a life saver! The staff is always friendly and welcoming too. Check out the chicken breasts too, they are huge and delicious! They also have a great selection of wine and beer. I stop in at least once a week to stock up and I just simply could not live without this store! read more

What can I say about Sprouts? It's got everything you need--and more. I usually only come here for the deli during lunch, or to grab some fruit and nuts for a snack...but it's always a great experience. Sprouts shops from local farmers, which I feel really makes a difference in the quality of their products. The deli is super cheap--$2.99 for a HUGE, delicious, fresh sandwich. I really like this Sprouts. They just renovated and moved things around, but it is much more spacious and easier to see everything when you walk in. Lines are always short and if they look long, someone will open up another register, so that is nice. Gotta try the little sandwich/soup lunch market. Sprouts has become by go to place for produce, and recently their meat department as well. The produce you can get great prices on, but unfortunately you have to watch their ads and play that silly game. Why not just price it flat and blow the competitors out of the water permanently? When's the last time you saw the produce aisle at Safeway full? Come on. That keeps you from 5-stars. The meat department can be tricky too, although the sausages that they make their are fantastic! Deli sandwiches are really inexpensive and pretty good. Again you have to watch their prices games, but lately I have given this part of the store a quick look when I stop in as well. read more

This store is really bad. I went to the Gilbert Az. store on Gilbert rd, everything was FRESH. They have amazing fresh sushi and meats. This surprise az. store is awful. Everytime I get pastries they are stale, and the behind the counter meats and fish look terrible compared to the Gilbert store. Also out of bubbies pickles, and other items. You can't even compare these 2 stores. Your company really needs to do better. Will not be shopping at your Surprise store again. Very dissatisfied. read more

Sprouts is the best grocery store hands down! Spices: they have a great selection of pack your own spices with all different herbs, chillis, mushrooms, you name the spice and they got it. Produce: hands down the bet produce from any other store. Always fresh and mostly at a decent price. They also carry produce that many other stores don't. Meat & Fish: if you don't mind farm raised salmon and shrimp, they always had them at $5.99 per pound. They have a great selection and price on all other meat, poultry and seafood. Great store with lots of options for organic, gluten free, vegan, etc. Their prices are a little high (higher than Trader Joes) but much less than Whole Foods for a similar selection. You can find just about any health supplement and personal item that is made with good ingredients. Their produce is pretty good overall and they do run good sales on it so great deals can be found. read more

Sprouts in Surprise, AZ is a great little store. It has the local, community feeling to it with it's friendly and helpful staff. And if you're looking for good, quality food and products, this is your place! Most of their products are local, healthy, environmentally friendly, and they even have a pretty good organic produce section. I always feel good when I'm buying from Sprouts, because I know it goes to support great people and a lovely store. I might also mention that they are very supportive of community organizations around the area. I run the Si Se Puede! Learning Center, an after-school program and community center in El Mirage, AZ that is part of the Cesar Chavez Foundation, a non-profit, and they have donated not once, but twice to help us out! Any place that helps out their community is a friend of mine. I'd completely suggest for anyone to shop here! read more

I make a point to come to Sprouts every week to buy produce and I can't believe it never dawned on me to Yelp them before. My bad.... The store is super clean, the staff is very helpful and nice, and the produce is the freshest and last longer than any other store in the area. The meat counter is excellent, the deli is wonderful. Prices are reasonable and a great selection! The only drawback to this store is something that isn't even their fault--this store is a big attraction for snowbirds. This makes shopping during snowbird season frustrating at best but again, this isn't Sprouts' fault though I wish they did something to appreciate their loyal RESIDENT customers when the snowbirds go home who had to endure the rudeness of the snowbirds.
