The Seafood platter is amazing, my absolute favorite!! pizza has a great crust and sauce, any of the pasta dishes are popular! The chicken parm is definitely a top seller! They have a "tour of Italy" where you can actually pick 3 of your favorite things and build your own dinner! Example: if you want chicken parm, fettuccine Alfredo and eggplant parm. Or you can do veal parm, baked penne and lasagna. The portions are HUGE! you will most likely take some home for later! All the servers know all their regulars and are very welcoming! Saturday night and the parking lot is packed! Good sign of good eats right? We only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. I ordered the manicotti, comes with a salad. They have the good blue cheese folks! Always a plus in my book! The manicotti tasted just like mine at home- delicious! The water had an odd taste to it. And I grew up on Pawtucket water but this was not something to serve at a restaurant. My mother described it as tasting like dirt! The bathroom- no top on the soap dispenser and for a busy night they should send someone in every so often to clean a bit, there were plenty of staff on. Beware: it's loud! My parents asked my husband and I to go with them to Spumoni's for dinner this evening, so we all piled in the car and headed to Pawtucket! None of us had ever eaten here so we figured we would give it a go! Believe it or not, the four of us all ordered the Roman Holiday with Meatballs. (Basically Spaghetti with meatballs topped with meat sauce & a blend of cheeses served in a casserole). Served with a choice of soup or salad. The bread and tray of whipped butter they bring out before your meal was fresh tasty. My salad was very good, the Blue Cheese dressing was nice and chunky. The Roman Holiday was really, REALLY good. The red sauce was delicious and very flavorful (generally speaking I am NOT a fan of any red sauce but I really enjoyed this one) the meatballs were great and it had a good amount of melted cheese on top!! What we ate while we were here was really good and the portions were VERY generous. We all have leftovers for lunch tomorrow! Our waiter Wavy/ Dave was probably one of the top waiters we have ever had! Not only was he super attentive, he had a great personality as well!! Kudos to him! Plenty of free parking, we didn't have to wait long for seating, the place has been redone inside looks great. I would have given 5stars but there were some problems with the food. Not are waitresses fault. She was great. The app came out cold, it was fried honey cheese balls, they were replaced fast, still a little pricey. 6 small balls, for $12. Everyone's meal was good , except my salad had the wrong dressing, again it was fixed. My last complaint is the portion size. We all had pasta , I really think it should have filled the plate, only 2 of us didn't finish it . Every other Italian restaurant I've been too gave us so much pasta you're taking leftovers home . Our server Lynne was amazing. The food was great and we will be returning soon. We were treated like family.

There are mice running around the restaurant. I don't care how good the food is that was awful. I actually saw two mice under a booth next to us . When I got home, I called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. The gentleman on the phone said unfortunately you have the kitchen staff. Everybody else has gone home. I told them oh well, you might want to know there are mice running around in the restaurant. he told me that they are well aware that they have mice and they have somebody coming in every other day to treat them. I hadn't been here in about 5 years and was pleasantly surprised about the newly redesigned lounge and dining room. We both liked how the dining area was dim, comfortable and quiet. We came at 4pm on a weekday so it wasn't as crowded as a weekend usually is. I had ravioli and meatballs, served with a salad. My friend had fried clams, with salad and potato and vegetable. We really enjoyed our food and it was a good value being served with soup or salad and the prices were reasonable. They also use Venda pasta products which is one of the best local pastas. The only thing that could use some improvement is the meatballs were too spicy and the tomato sauce while flavorful was a little too thick in my opinion. I would recommend a visit here. They've been in business for decades, they're doing something right! read more

I haven't been here in 20 plus years. Thank goodness they've remodeled since then. They were very busy, servers were hustling. They have specials Monday through Thursday which includes a drink, Appatizer, soup or salad, and entree. A solid deal. Good Italian food at fair prices. read more

Disappointing visit to Spumoni's once again. Ordered takeout for our usual once a week visit and once again they forgot most of our food and all condiments. My husband never thinks to check anything before he leaves and we live almost half hour away. This has happened more than a few times so unfortunately we won't be back. Lovely place that is decorated like it's always Christmas! Several Italian options along with some seafood. They have specials every now and then that is a great dinner date location. The cocktails were delicious but wish their was more alcohol. Food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Lunch with a free coupon for one meal and a free coupon for dessert. Too bad the experience wasn't as great as usual. The waitress was horrible. She forgot my milk for my coffee. I eventually asked for water ‍. My chicken parmigiana was dried out inside and then marinara sauce was meat sauce, not what I asked for. When the marinara sauce came it was cold as well as the penne. Slightly disappointing. Soda came out with greasy film on tops. I didn't complain but my husband did (he can't let anything go and is a germaphobe). The greasy filmy plastic cup thing is a common occurrence at many restaurants so he asked another employee if he could have rootbeer in a glass. She came back with another plastic cup. He asked again if you could please have his root beer in a glass cup because of the film on the top (it was on second as well) She apologized and came back with ready for it, an iced tea in a glass ‍. Chicken slightly dry, Alfredo kinda undercooked. FYI- they're not accepting coupons. We had one from a book we purchased. It's not posted anywhere so when you present it they let you know. Makes sense since operating at half capacity but would have been nice to know. I likely won't revisit for awhile. Mediocre food and service. The majority of restaurants are not using menus right now but they are not. I didn't see them being sanitized which skeeved me a little. It was a little dirty, a little dusty. Ruined our Mother's Day Dinner! Knowing things would be insane I called when they opened at 11:30am, ordered and Paid for the entire meal which included TWO lobsters (the main reason we chose Spumoni's for this special occasion). Arrived early to pick up my food only to find they "ran out of lobsters" and I was just going to have to figure something else out for the two women the lobsters were meant for. Unacceptable! Why would you not set aside the food already paid for? Horribly miss managed and unorganized. Been coming here for over 17 years. The Misses has wanted to check this place out, so we made the trip. I have my favorite Italian spots in Rhode Island, so i dont tend to want to try new places. But I figured why not. Was pretty basic inside, nothing too impressive. We ordered two of their $5 drinks (both of which were pretty bland and weak) and the veal parm and special- Fish and Chips. The misses loved the chicken escarole soup, but my salad was plain (basically the bag salads you get for $.50). The food was ok at best. The misses asked for linguine and got rotini. My fish and chips were small for the $14 price tag and the fish was more bread than fish. The fries were basic, frozen bag fries. For the price, id rather stick to other Italian restaurants in the area, one in Cranston sticks out as they have similar prices, but much better tasting food and larger portions! read more

Cannot recommend Spumoni's for take out. We ordered 2 entrees and 2 appetizers on Saturday night. The Entrees and onion rings were good, well made and packed correctly. However, for some absolutely insane reason, the *fried* calamari was boxed with 4 giant lettuce leaves. Can anyone guess what cold lettuce does to fried calamari when boxed in a to go container? That is correct, absolutely soggy, disgusting squid. Who in their right mind would put lettuce as a garnish for a dish that is ordered to go????? Order pick up time 12:55 pm on 12/31/21: The restaurant customer service was poor and did not serve fresh salad. I made an online curbside order and was instructed to call upon arrival with the sign in the parking lot. I called and was placed on hold and no one was available after some time. I called again after my scheduled pick up time the restaurant informed me of online, and was told that there were no online pick up orders and inquired about being able to leave feedback about the restaurant website not indicating this and was told no and was completely ignored by one staff members. After leaving and dropping this order off to my partner they informed me that most of the greens were browned and the there was not enough chicken. Although the decor is dated it really is a cozy quaint place. The menu is pretty varied with some really good Italian food offerings. The fresh sliced bread from Crugnale bakery was a great accompaniment for my chicken escarole soup. The base was a tad too salty but there was no denying it was chicken. I ordered Grampa's favorite seafood with pasta. Langostinos, shrimp and chopped clams tossed in a buttery garlic sauce atop al dent cooked linguine. My husband ordered Chicken sautéed with fire roasted red peppers, olives and artichokes in a creamy sauce served atop pasta. Both dishes arrived in larger then life servings and were definitely worth the price. Our waiter, Brandon , was knowledgeable and prompt.
