Worst breakfast in town!!! I ordered an omelette with avocado bacon and cheese: simple right? Nope they only carry one type of cheese they don't know what crisp bacon is and they skimped on the Avocado. This is NOT my first disappointing meal here. Having moved from its prior home near the Galt Police Department, location wasn't the only change for this burger and sandwich joint. Having been in dispute with another place of operation, Squeeze decided to let the other one (w)inn and went with Squeeze Burger instead. It's too bad because I loved the name and logo. I'll be blunt: I wasn't impressed with its first try in Galt which you will find in my prior review. I came back because I want to support a local business and was told by a friend that the teriyaki steak sandwich was awesome. So I grabbed the family and shoved them into the Odyssey and off we went. When we arrived, there was a line to the door for take out orders and only one available table. We nabbed it faster than you could say, "Let's go to Taco Bell next door." We sat at our table awaiting a greeting and menus for a while. Being its first week of business, we understood the wait. They were slammed. To cut to the chase I did order the teriyaki steak sandwich and when it arrived I was impressed. It was a perfect amount of teriyaki sauce on a good portion of meat, though a little bit more mayonnaise would have been nice. But that's just me. I love mayonnaise. My son enjoyed the chicken pesto sandwich which he said was really good. My wife had the teriyaki chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. The fries were great. All around, we really enjoyed our dinner. My wife and I have been back two more times and while the service has greatly improved there is still room for greater refinement. When we spoke to the waitress she revealed that the store does twice the business with half the staff of its original location. Hopefully they will hire to resolve that issue. Truthfully, this is a good problem to have. I tried the cheeseburger with the famous skirt once again but this time with extra cheese. It didn't help. I didn't care for it like the first time. Using shredded cheese on a burger just doesn't have the same consistency has standard thick cut cheeses you find at other fine burger places. Heck, even McDonalds and its processed cheese holds better to the beef patty. While the skirt is a novel idea, it doesn't make for a tasty cheeseburger. There will be no third time is a charm for me with this burger. I'm done with it. I'll stick to the teriyaki steak sandwich. Squeeze Burger is a fine place to take your family for a good meal. If you don't expect to be amazed with the entire experience then you won't be disappointed. Keep your expectations in check and you'll be satisfied when you receive your check. read more

Holy mackerel I remember eating at this place when they were over by the police station & what a difference! Idk what happened but this place is some expensive garbage now. We shelled out $$$ for 4 DRY tiny burgers with over cooked fries that were super greasy. Come to think of it I don't think they were very good before they moved either. Just too much grease. The cashier was flippant and preoccupied with other things, just not a very good experience overall. There are so many other great burger joints! Sorry guys not a happy customer. read more

Have been here twice recently, once for dinner and once for breakfast. The dinner was adequate enough as a bleu cheese burger and standard fries can be. The saving grace for dinner were the beer taps. The breakfast could have been so much better. It amazes me how it seems as if all the breakfast cooks are more concerned about churning out product than the actual quality of said product. When one asks for crispy hash browns you'd expect both sides to be cooked. Don't even get me started on how none of them can cook and over medium egg!!! We went for a meal this last Sunday. Where do I start? Here goes: - 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. -Another 10 minutes for our order to be taken -We both ordered a chicken sandwich. One with no tomatoes (WHICH BOTH WITH TOMATOES) -Another 25 minutes before we received our order. -Not sure what the "meat" was. Surely not chicken as we know it. The texture was the oddest we have ever experience. It was some kind of "FORMED" product. NOT CHICKEN. Didn't look like chicken, didn't taste like chicken and did not have the texture of chicken meat. It was so bad we couldn't eat. We will not be back. Food is good but the service is mediocre. Our server forgot multiple things repeatedly and dropped my friend's burger and then brought the replacement burger with tomatoes (he had ordered without, and she even repeated that when she dropped his plate). Another group waited a really long time to pay at the cash register, the other workers kept looking at them but didn't move to go help or say anything to them, and just waited for the server to take care of it. They also have a lot of single-use disposable plastic/materials (used for sauces, utensils, paper for the trays etc), yet the server told us they might go out of business due to increasing garbage rates. Lackluster. I was expecting much more. The burger didn't have flavor and the cheese just tasted like burnt salt. Kind of made me nauseous to be honest and I love cheese so I'm not what happened there. There's better food outside of Galt that is still close. The fries were over salted and mushy. Wonderful FOOD! The bacon pancake is Amazing, French toast is great, and we love the omelettes. For lunch options, the burger with or without the cheese skirt is tasty. Well this place just lost my business! Went in there for lunch and we understand they are short staffed only asian man running it. Waited 15min for a table to be cleaned then we finally sit down as well as others being seated. I tried to go to the register to order the guy tells me take a seat and he will be there to take my order. Next thing we see him go around to all the other tables ask for drinks and food mind you these are all people who came in after us. NOT ONCE DID HE COME TO OUR TABLE AND ASK US WHAT WE WOULD LIKE STILL. Then a gentleman from another table tells him you haven't taken there order. So he finally comes to our table with a attitude mind you we completely understand he is short staffed but you can't take people's order who came in way after someone or even at the register busy or not that's just not how it works. As he heads back to the kitchen he looks at the cook and tells him that my dad was an asshole! Tf a asshole for understanding that your short staffed yet we were still willing to eat here even after the fact that all these people after us had ordered. I had made an order over the phone and they said my order would be ready in 20 minutes so I waited outside for takeout . & when I went inside they said they had no orderso their screen for takeout . So I called back and asked where they were located and they confirmed it was the Galt location . I've never been to squeeze in before but I have to say it was pretty good. We've been there twice now and they have been busy. We got our seats quick and put food quick. The staff is great. They are always looking around to see if anybody needs anything. So that means you get you check right when your done. A lot of places you get your check 20 min before your done or 15 min after your done. So that's nice. Now we only have had the burgers, fries and onion rings. The burger like someone else has said the cheese does not stay on the burger but you get the ring of cheese. The burger taste food though. The fries and onion rings are excellent. The have the best I've tasted I believe. So I'm giving them t stars because the place has been clean, the food we've tastes has been good but the best of all the staff is excellent. Squeeze inn is a great place. Love the new location. Our waitress was very attentive. I had the steak teriyaki, my wife had chicken taco and son had chicken strips. When I walked in they were PACKED. However at the counter I received prompt service and they answered questions about the menu without attitude and refilled my drink quickly.
