    Burger with cheese (and bacon)
    Nate G.

I was so excited to finally try this cheese skirt out and man... what more do you need to say than cheese skirt. Yes please! The burger was robust and the fries were also delicious. I'm glad I was able to knock this off the bucket list and can't wait to try it again in the future.

What can I say. They killed it. Everything it looks like it would be.

This burger place is small and doesn't look like much but man are they amazing with the flavor and charm. The food is why you go and it's why you will keep going

I've been in love with the Squeeze Burger with Cheese ever since having it. I've had it 3 times, but the first time was the best. There is nothing quite like the first time. Cheeseburger is under $10, a price which beats out a lot of other burger restaurants. The burger is cooked medium, so it's still a little pink inside. The cheddar cheese skirt is eye-catching and is fun to pull off and to eat like Parmesan cheese crisps. Hmm, my questionable wording...is it generally fun to pull off skirts? My cheese skirt was perfection the first time I had it. The second time, the cheese was too burnt to me. The third time was acceptable. Maybe the first time was the best because I added mushrooms? I keep forgetting to add them now. If you love mushrooms, add them for $0.99. The extra topping fees are very affordable, ranging from $0.59-$2.00 as of 11/17/22. Mayo, mustard, lettuce, onion, tomato, and pickle are complimentary. Onions are raw, but you can pay for an upgrade to grilled onions. Pickles are cut into long slices, not round pickle chips. I've also had the Squeeze Dog, which is a most beautifully dressed grilled 8 inch, 1/4 pound all beef hot dog. Toppings are a perfectly balanced amount of everything: lettuce, tomato, diced red onion, pickle slices, mayo, mustard, and relish. I believe it qualifies as a Chicago-style dog. However, it is a hot dog, so I can't get too excited. Under $7. In the future, I should try the 1/4 pound rib-eye steak sandwiches. Regular or Teriyaki steak. Only $8.50! Restaurant is clean and spacious. Employees are helpful and courteous. Huge, clean, well stocked, handicap accessible restrooms. Orange booths, tables, and bar seating. Restaurant decor is fun and lighthearted. People have launched their hamburger toothpicks into the ceiling! Walls have lots of license plates and metal signs, including one that says "CHEESE SKIRT AHEAD." Restaurant has been quiet when I have gone off-peak hours. I hope they are getting enough business. Squeeze Burger used to be named Squeeze Inn, which was featured on the Food Network on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" (cheese skirt burger) and "Throwdown with Bobby Flay" (omelette). This location doesn't make breakfast. https://www.foodnetwork.com/restaurants/ca/sacramento/squeeze-inn-restaurant https://youtu.be/8tUsnWzKEIg Rachel K, our community manager, informed me today was #ThankYouThursday, so I decided to write this overdue review for Squeeze Burger. I just squeezed it in before midnight! Best wishes to Squeeze Burger.

Inside - very clean! Staff was great

It's pretty alright! Definitely not bad. I've always wanted to try their famous cheese skirt. It's a fun and unique thing to offer, but it stops there. Staff was very nice. Inside is dated but also very very clean!! I ordered a lil squeeze burger with cheese, and my burger was ready in 15 min. I actually thought the burger would bigger. Diameter wise (minus the skirt) it's about the size of a burger from McDonald's, but significantly small than one from Carl's Jr. The taste was good. Great toppings. I usually don't care for mustard but theirs is great. Bun was good. The cheese skirt is something you can make at home- good and simple. It's grease and cheese- I'm not sure what else you'd expect! I love fried cheese so i was eager to dig in. I tore some pieces off and then tucked some edges in to eat it. You can't actually taste the cheese too much when eaten together. Overall flavor wise - it's a solid homemade burger. The miss for me as the assembly. The thin meat patty kept sliding back, I don't think I actually got any till I was 1/3rd in the burger. Everything was splitting out the burger with each bite - the lettuce, the tomatoes, the onions, the pickle - seriously all of it! I think if they had a layer of regular cheese, and sliced the onions & tomatoes thinner, might help things stick together. Overall good but nothing was "bad" enough to make it a 3. If you don't make it here, I don't think you're missing out on much.

Stopped here on the recommendation of a local. The place is a bit dated, but cozy enough. After some confusion, we put in our orders and waited. And, waited. And, waited. About 20 minutes, in all. There was only one other pair ahead of us, so maybe it was just time to kill a new cow. Finally we got our burgers. The cheese skirt is kind of neat, though I wasn't sure how to eat it, or if that would even be a good idea. It wasn't solidly attached and pretty much just peeled off. I had a few bites. Like greasy cheddar without the bread or burger. My son used the bathroom. It was old and not very neat. He said that it is also oddly huge.

Food is always top notch; I don't go too often but when I do, the flavor is addicting! And the cheese crust is eaten like a cheese cracker! So good Fries are fresh always as well! Never disappointed with those establishment

    An awesome burger

Very tasty place: good fries, good burger, relatively quick. Definitely glad I picked this over the bar and grill.

Saw this place on Triple D and decided to try it. Very unique as far as the cheese skirt goes. The decor is typical burger joint; cars and license plate decor. There are video games for the kids. The staff is really friendly, matter of fact probably the friendliest I have had in California. The cheese burger was cooked perfectly and the cheese skirt was crispy and tasty. The fries were ok. I wish they had onion rings (normally they do) or Crinkle Cut fries. We really enjoyed this meal and look forward to returning.

We tried almost all the specials, including cioppino, a peach, garlic bechamel, arugula, prosciutto, balsamic pizza and chicken parm and enjoyed everything. The chicken parm had the right amount of breading- was lightly crispy on the outside with tender meat on the inside. The pizza had that farm-to-fork fresh flavor and the house ranch was a nice accent. The cioppino looked inviting and was nicely seasoned and flavorful. My friend thought the rosé sounded good so we ordered 2 glasses. Our awesome server told us they have a Wine Wednesday deal, so we ended up ordering the whole bottle and it was fire; we agreed we'd order it again. They have a nice room in the back for private parties or for anyone wanting to look at the beautiful landscape behind the restaurant and the whole restaurant in general is a nice setting for dinner or drinks (they have wine, beer, n/a and soju cocktails). Parking-wise, they share a private parking lot. Cheers!

This was actually the first time I visited the entire downtown Roseville area, and I was pleasantly surprised there was a parking garage since all the parking spots in front of the establishment were occupied. We arrived around 1:30PM and observed a fair amount of patrons on a Monday. We were immediately greeted and seated. Loved the decor. After a few minutes mulling over what to get, I ended up getting the French Dip with duck fat fries. I also tried their Divinity Stout. Wow. The food - Amazing! Really enjoyed the French Dip - well sized portion and ended up having leftovers that I was able to enjoy a few hours later ha! The Stout (Divinity) - I need to go back and buy some bottles to go. So good! I'll definitely be back. The one minor gripe was I observed was there weren't any TV's at the bar (from what I can see anyway). I would have loved to head over here as I am writing this review to watch the NBA finals. All good!

For the French dip I will say it was bursting with flavor, the bun was nice and crispy and soft on the inside and the meat tasty. My only issue was it was way over salted. The Reuben was also tender, tasty and the sauce was very good but again the fries and meat felt over salted. They were packed so our server was few and far between but she was really kind and you could tell there was just a lot going on. Overall the feeling of space was on brand for a cellar with low lighting and dark ambiance that made it feel a bit more classy.
