oranges and limes on the counter

Don't punish yourself by going here like I did. I saw Squeezed Juice Bar after picking up a med at Alchemist Compounders a few doors down in the same complex. It was my first time at Squeezed. A bored-looking employee was leaning on the counter and while I looked at the menu on the wall didn't greet me or ask if she could make suggestions. There were three employees there, all teenagers. While placing my order the employee plugged it in and then spun the iPad around toward me to input a tip. After that she went back to leaning on the counter. Again, no pleasantries, so I went into the lounge area to wait. I suppose that's the level of customer service the business is fine with. I ordered a medium SoBerrySlim, as their small options had been crossed out on their smoothies. The drink had raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, almond milk, protein, and ice. Only one other customer was in the business, so I'm not sure why my drink took as long as it did. When I got it, I tried a sip while walking out and immediately dropped it into the trash can just inside the door as I exited. It tasted almost matcha/earthy without a hint of any sweetness. I imagine it's the type of drink I'd buy if I was trying to punish myself for enjoying life. Overall, don't punish yourself. Bored teens will take a long while to make you a drink that tastes like unhappiness in smoothie form. I sure won't be returning.

This place is really good, just kinda pricey...but it's an açaí bowl so I get it. I could probably make it at home but it's still so yummy. Love it

Customized our juice with Kale, Ginger, Lemon, pineapple, and cucumber. Needed an immune booster

Needed an immune boost so I "Squeezed" some time to have these guys customize a juice with Kale, Lemon, Ginger, pineapple, mint, cucumber. They were super friendly and the juice turned out really good! They thought it was an interesting combo. Turned out great guys! Keep up the awesome customer service, quality, and delicious juices!

    Almond Crunch toast!

Best place in town, hands down. They just added Gourmet Toast and revamped the menu. It's even better now! Highly highly recommend these new toasts- I've had their toast for breakfast three days in a row! Go check it out if you haven't yet for sure!

CBD lemonade & "Going Green" medium

Looking for a smoothie/juice joint when on vacation. My wife and I stopped in and checked it out. Quality stuff very tasty (mine was tart) very good. I got the "Going Green" you could spend $20 each with all the add in what a selection. The CBD lemonade was great! I will stop in before heading home and definitely on my return visit. On a side note the owner was friendly and inquired how we heard about the store and where we came from, I enjoy family owned over corporate controlled.

Great variety of smoothies and acaci bowls. Stopped in for a quick healthy brunch. We ordered the Acari bowl and it did not disappoint.

Hit or miss with this place. Went yesterday smoothie bowl was great looked great and was thick and delicious. Got one today and it looks terrible it's all melted like it wasn't blended with enough frozen stuff and the toppings are all falling inside it.... it's good but wish they were better with consistency..: Update; went again today and my bowl looks and tastes amazing. I think it just is the different employees some make them better than others.

I went in thinking I wanted the falafel wrap on a Dosa, but I decided to try the cauliflower tacos instead, on their Chapati. These tacos were amazing, and I can't wait to try other menu options. It was so inviting that I'd even want to try to consider being vegetarian. The lady at the counter was very nice and talked me into the tacos over the falafel. It was a great choice, but I will have to try the falafel next time! This place was very cute, and welcoming with beautiful live plants living in a comfortable atmosphere. It is crazy to me because it is not hyped enough, but the places that are hidden always hold the best treasures inside. #goodfoodwithoutflaunting Also, to the woman and man who went to take out trash together. We came around 3:30pm so we could catch the masala chai happy hour. I love masala chai and rarely have the chance to get freshly made dairy-free chai. I was disappointed basically from the first moment after walking inside. The server greeted us by announcing, "We are out of vegetables today." I didn't know how this was possible; eventually, she explained that they had run out of the "veggies of the day" that come with certain dishes such as the yogi plate; they were still able to provide vegetables in other dishes like the kitchari. But I was shocked, since I love vegetables, and their veggies of the day are so prominently advertised. I asked if the other location had vegetables available today. The server was unable to tell me. We decided to place our order anyway. I had some questions about the baked goods, since I rarely get the chance to have desserts that are vegan and seed oil-free. I was curious if any of the baked goods was entirely oil-free or at least free of coconut oil. The server seemed very unmotivated to help me figure this out. When I asked about ingredients, she just repeatedly pointed me to the labels on the cookies that denoted the type of sugar each one contained as well as certain allergens, but did not have full ingredient lists. I asked if the chef or manager might be available to clarify certain ingredients, only to be told that "the chef usually only works in the mornings." I was at a loss, and eventually, with some obvious reluctance, the server went into the kitchen to ask one of the cooks about the ingredient lists. The server returned saying "Yes, the majority of the items have coconut oil." Ummmm the majority? Which ones, exactly? At this point, I gave up and just did not order dessert. I tried to order an iced chai which they were out of. I ended up getting a hot chai as well as kitchari and dal. The chai was pretty average. It wasn't particular spicy nor particularly hot. The kitchari and dal were actually incredibly delicious. It's rare to find a restaurant that doesn't use excessive salt; these dishes were perfectly seasoned with warm, nourishing spices and very little (if any?) salt. Even the fact that they were served basically lukewarm didn't detract from how much I enjoyed them. This place seems truly special and I don't know if my experience was an exception. I really wanted to love them, but they made it pretty difficult, despite having great and healthy food.

It's in a historic area but the inside is chic, modern, and lively. Bold paint colors, unique bar and table sets, and they even have chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The only caveat is that it is LOUD. Between the noise of eating, talking, and the music, it is difficult to hear each other. The service was excellent. I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout-out. He was knowledgeable about the menu and had great suggestions for drinks, appetizers and main dishes. He also, was friendly and funny, and took care of us without hovering but was somehow always there when we needed something. The food was excellent, with large portions, great flavors, clean ingredients and fresh new takes on a lot of dishes. I had the Sourdough Gnocchi with onions, brocolini, and added salmon. It was truly amazing! They had a blackberry shrub, which is non-alcoholic, that I was able to add alcohol to and it was delicious! We also had the calamari for an appetizer and it was beautifully done, perfectly cooked, with light breading, and excellent sauces to dip it in. We took a table in the entry way, not in the main restaurant. It was a quaint spot overlooking the patio section out front of the restaurant. A server met us, took our drink order, and we placed a few appetizer orders. We got some chile con queso, and the chicharron. They initially brought out the queso in two small plastic to-go containers. I was not very thrilled with that. Then, when we polished them off, they brought out some more in a small serving dish. Why we didn't get the dish in the first place is beyond me. The queso was good, but I didn't think much of the chicharron. My husband like it though. The server did an excellent job keeping our drinks filled. We placed our order, and it wasn't too long that our orders came out. I got the combination plate, red sauce, ground beef taco. My husband thought he ordered the enchilada plate, but the chile relleno plate came out instead. He told them that was fine. The ground beef taco was so delicious. The chile relleno was pretty good, and the cheese enchiladas were okay, even though it was like they were barely there. The pinto beans, not refried beans, were also enjoyed. What really set them apart was their papas - those potatoes were soft and super flavorful. Their red sauce was spicy and flavorful. The server brought out two fresh and hot sopapillas. We poured honey on those things bite by bite. I honestly think those were the best sopapillas I've had. I also used the restroom before we left. It might need a little updating, but it was certainly clean.
