Srisiam Thai Kitchen was a delight to our palate with what was surprisingly unabashed and flavorful. Was sort of a transport to diners at the heart of Thailand's Chanthaburi province. Also their sauces evoke authenticity, which has been hard to find lately with all the watered-down versions of Thai restaurants. The serving temperature of each dish was calibrated well and wasn't scalding but not lukewarm either. We had a really satisfying takeout experience and will be back. Portion sizes perfectly balance pricing value with culinary indulgence, making every meal a delightful journey through Thai / Asian fusion cuisine. I was surprised the restaurant is as small as it is but I am super grateful the staff is very friendly and the food quality and portions are definitely more than fair. I'm a huge fan of fried rice, so I devoured it. + Pad Kee Mow: It had no spice to it. It was missing an element to it, but nevertheless, it was good. + Pad Thai: I haven't had pad thai in a good minute, and was so excited to eat this since I hadn't had it in a while. It was pretty good. + Beef Salad: I've never seen Thai beef salad made the way they did. The salad seemed rather small in comparison to other establishments. The beef in this salad was just weird. It was sliced like a steak salad, which I'd never had before. I typically would've had no complaints, but the steak was just so rubbery for my liking. I wonder if they had run out of the other type of meat and just substituted it. read more

Quick Synopsis: 1) Hole-in-the-wall! Parking is available. It is shared with other small businesses (Example: Donut Shop and Subway). Not really a busy plaza. 2) Check in on yelp and get a free soda or thai tea 3) Minimal chairs and tables. Don't be alarm if you don't see anybody in the shop. Most of their orders are take out. -If you dine in, you don't have to clean up after yourselves. They'll clean up for you. You'll see that there is no trash can. 4) Friendly owner and staffers. At times, they don't look enthusiastic when working. Totally normal... I gets it! 5) Decent thai food (I usually get the pad thai or the pad see ew) for the price. Decided to give this Thai restaurant a try, when I get there, the outside doesn't look much, more like a Thai fast food cafe. I ordered Pad See Ew w/ chicken, Tom Yum Fish, Crab fried rice and a Thai ice tea. Among all, the best was the Crab fried rice, they used lots of real crab meat, and it tasted amazing. The Pad See Ew was slightly too sweet and the Yom Yum Fish was slightly too salty and not spicy at all, although I did mention I wanted extra spicy. Yelp does it again.... leads me to a place with good reviews, but turns out that the service and food are awful. The Lady/ owner looks mad and is unfriendly. I felt bad asking her for anything as she looked disgruntled. I understand this is a small mom-and-pop shop. Her child helps out, and her husband is in the back, but at least be friendly. I was excited to turn my mom to a new hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant, but I was disappointed and left upset. I hope they get more business for the sake of their family, but I would definitely not recommend. read more

I absolutely love this hole in the wall, family run restaurant. Their food is so delicious. It may not look like anything serious or wonderful when it comes to your table but I can assure you it's probably some of the most authentic Thai food around. They have very few tables where you can dine in, same as pre-Covid, but they get a lot of to-go business. There isn't any outdoor seating at all. There is ample parking, however, in their little strip mall lot. The workers here are so sweet, and as I mentioned, they are family run. Depending on the day and time, sometimes you might come to find the son of one of the employees doing his homework. It is the cutest sight really. Parking is ample and easy in their lot, no validation or any of that required. I appreciate the fact that they will try to enforce social distancing as much as possible and will ask for folks to wait outside or in their cars for their to-go orders when possible. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the restaurant as well. I cannot wait to visit again. read more

I've spent the last 8 years working just a couple of blocks from this spot, and, despite several trips to the adjacent donut shop and Subway that share the small parking lot, I'd never ducked in here. Today on a whim--partly due to the cold weather and the tickle in my throat-- I parked and walked right in like a regular, hoping for a good spicy bowl of Tom Ka Gah. I was greeted by the nice lady owner and her fearless sidekick. The place is miniscule, with maybe four tables, but clean and tidy. Two menu boards feature their all-day fare and lunch specials, and a chalkboard highlights their specials of the day. I bellied-up to the counter and ordered my soup to go. A small sign on the wall states that unless you specify you're eating here, food is served to-go. She asked me anyway, perhaps in response to other Yelp reviewers' experiences? Within 10 minutes, my soup was handed to me in a well-packaged container, double bagged to protect my uncoordinated self from slipping and slopping. When I returned to my office solo to enjoy Chef Lonelyheart's Thai soup for one, I tore open the container and was pleased with the outcome: lots of floating mushrooms, sunken chicken, and a solid coconut broth. I wouldn't have balked at more ginger, lemongrass, or cilantro... or more spice for that matter.. but it hit the spot. At north of $10 for a large soup and a Diet Coke, this is definitely Foothill Blvd. prices, not Valley Blvd... but all told, I was full, my nose got its run-on from the added container of heat (and my own private stash of chili oil), and I will certainly be back to assess their Pad Thai. Nice to have a good fast-food style Thai place so close to work, and free delivery with a $15 minimum is an added bonus. read more

Also had the "paradise" appetizer and "yummy pad Thai," which were both super yummy. We ended with the mango sticky rice -- delicious!! The ambience is very casual but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Owners are providing the service, which was friendly and efficient.
