Best local Thai restaurant ever . I still remember the first time my family and I went here back in 2016 when we stayed in Arcadia during the summer break. The first time we went here in 2016, food was excellent, service was excellent, and the workers were excellent. Second time we went here, it was July of this year, and food is still excellent, service is still excellent and the new workers were very friendly . When I tried this place just after it opened, the food portions were plentiful, but the quality was unbearable. Ick. When I tried this place a few months later to give it another chance, it was the same as the first time, and I almost vowed not to come back here again! Post-Covid I wanted to see if anything changed. Portions are smaller but the food was sooo much better! Yum! I'd rather choose quality over quantity any day. The food is ok, not very authenticate Thai food. Price is reasonable though. We order the pineapple fried rice, the ingredients is fresh, but the fried rice is not "fried" enough (in Asian sense). But the taste is good. One really surprisingly good dish is glass noodle salad! This is definitely the best glass noodle salad that I had so far (that's why they go 4stars from me). Most of the places that I went before always only give very little glass noodle, and this restaurant is so generous with the glass noodle! The dressing is nice and fresh. It's definitely a place where the majority of people call in orders and pick up. There's just a few small tables for dine in. We ordered the papaya salad (mild), large tom yum soup with shrimp (mild), pad see ew with crispy pork belly, and mango sticky rice. Everything was fantastic! The owner was so considerate of my kids, even asking if my daughter enjoys "Moana" because she was going to put it on the tv. There is a 75¢ charge for all card transactions. So it would be best to pay in cash. There are also no public restrooms and the closest restroom is McDonalds across the street. The whole family absolutely loved the food. My son has recently become more adventurous with trying spicy foods really enjoyed the tom yum soup and papaya salad. But his favorite was definitely the mango sticky rice. The pad thai, pineapple fried rice, and green curry are some of my favorite items. You can switch out the meat in most dishes to tofu for a vegetarian option, and when you do that they're considerate enough to ask if egg is okay inside (in case you were vegan!) Decided to try the mango sticky rice this time around and it was pretty good -- the perfect sweet and savory blend. Only thing is that this place has gotten super overpriced. I think the prices have stayed the same but the portion sizes have been cut down to half the original size, maybe even less. I was craving Thai food so I decided to order takeout for dinner from this restaurant. I am so surprised this restaurant has so many positive reviews because honestly the food was just okay to me. I ordered the beef pad see ew and green curry with chicken. Beef pad see ew: Initially I was really surprised to see this dish was made with American broccoli vs Chinese broccoli. The taste of the dish was pretty standard except the beef, which they charge an extra $2 for, was super dry and tough. Definitely not worth the extra charge! Green curry: again the taste of this entree was also okay except I was disappointed it was missing a lot of vegetables that I usually look forward to in Thai green curry. Instead, this dish only had bamboo, basil leaves and red bell peppers. At the very bottom I found two small pieces of eggplant. Very disappointing. The restaurant is located in the middle of a small strip mall with plenty of parking. I had called in my order but when I arrived, I had to wait another 5 minutes for the food even though I saw it sitting uncovered on the counter the entire time I was there.
