I came as a walk-in and Kuo handled my WRX after I had hit a road obstacle that knocked my sway bar among other things awry. He was really friendly and professional. I felt like a human being while I was there. I'm sure ya'll know what I mean when at some shops they kinda give you an uncomfortable hard stare or huffs. He came up to me, asked what I needed, and did a thorough inspection and showed me what he saw! He even gave helpful recommendations on what to do next! 10/10 will go again. Parking is a bit tight and limited, there was the side of the street or parking spaces between the shop and the gas station that I saw to use. I recently bought a stock out-of-state 1994 FD RX-7 and needed to get it smogged so I could register it in CA. My friend recommended this shop and Binh and his team are a great group of guys and true car enthusiasts. Smogs are pretty straight forward, but what impressed me about this shop was how clean and well organized everything was. They have a good amount of lifts and work on a lot of high-end cars doing everything from general maintenance to performance upgrades. I saw all makes and models though so an expensive car is not a prerequisite. Their prices are extremely fair and it's good to know that a group of enthusiasts are working on your car because they tend to be a little more careful and enjoy what they do. I took my work truck to get an alignment because the front tires were wearing very uneven. The guys at this shop were professional and friendly. They were busy so I needed to schedule an appointment but they were able to get me in 2 days later. It took approx. 4 hours, which I was told in advance because of the specialty equipment mounted on my truck. Cost was around $220 and truck drives perfectly smooth now. Second review for Star Smog & Alignment Haus. Why? Because they're absolutely the best alignment shop around, hands down. I took my truck, before COVID-19, to get the alignment checked out and they took me in the same day. These guys took very good care of my last car so I knew they would do the same with my truck. I've never been to the new location prior to that day but everything about Star Smog & Alignment Haus was the same as before! Free refreshments, great customer service, and now with much more space. I arrived, sign some paperwork, explained my concern, and they took care of the rest. Once they test drove my truck, they noticed the same issue that I was concerned about but didn't find any major issues when lifted up and inspected. The alignment was pretty much on point and suspension parts were still new. Now the best part about these guys, they're not pushy to get a service done! They told me an alignment might fix the problem but couldn't say for sure because it was so minor and instead of pushing me to cough up and pay for the alignment, they suggested that I take it back to the dealership to get it fixed under warranty instead, and it's free. I can truly respect a shop that isn't in it for the money but for the customers' best interest. I'm definitely a lifetime customer here and so should you! read more

I brought in my car yesterday, my rear tires and fender was rubbing like crazy after I got it lowered and some wider wheels. I'm always driving all over Southern California for work meetings and such, and I am ALWAYS super busy. At the suggestion of one of my friends, I decided to take my car for smog at Star Smog & Alignment Haus (the sign says SSA Haus, which I think looks cooler than the long typed out name) today in Bellflower. I had to conduct several business phone calls, so I was really appreciative when the owner, Binh, greeted me as soon as I drove up to one of the work bays of their garage. I told him I needed a smog, and just handed him my registration papers and the key, and he said he'd take care of everything since I was on the phone. He walked me to the lobby, which was SUPER CLEAN... I didn't expect a smog/alignment place to be as clean as this place! The lobby was pretty big, with comfy chairs, free coffee, sodas, and water in a refrigerator. Aside from free cold drinks for customers, they also had free snacks like chips and cookies, but who am I kidding? I need to stay away from the free snacks! Anyway, I finished my client phone calls in the quiet waiting room, and after a little while Binh walked in to let me know everything was done, and I was good to go. They found an issue and let my husband know so that he can get it taken care of. Husband said that other alignment places don't take the time to be thorough like Star Smog & Alignment Haus. I was referred by a friend to this place. My overall experience was pleasant. I came for what they call an "off-roading" alignment and other work, (I upgraded my Toyota 4runner to bigger tires). They gave me a run down of what will be done on my car and an estimate of how long it may take. Mike and Kuo called and texted me to give updates and progress which I think is excellent customer service. They were supposedly not busy at the time I went, but there was no parking, all garage spots were filled, and when I rolled down my window to ask for help on where to go the employees just stared at me and walked into the office. The "street" is an alleyway that another business uses to exit so no way to just get out of the car. Weird set up. read more

I needed an alignment for my car because it has been pulling hard to the right for the longest time and a friend recommended this place even though it's a bit far away from where I live. I came away impressed. These guys are honest, professional, and courteous. They adjusted my alignment as best as they could, but they noticed that because my tires were near the end of their life, that they're causing problems with my alignment. So they suggested that I get new tires. I came back a week later with new tires and they re-did the alignment and now my car has been steering straighter than before. They also offer a free drink (soda or water) while you wait. There's also a TV in the wait area too. Would I recommend their services? Definitely! I might have to come back the next time my car needs a smog check. Pro-tip: Schedule an appointment with them ahead of time. So I came back a second time and brought my 1990 325i with fully adjustable coilovers for an alignment.
