In our trip around the USA we've had three pizza delivered, the previous two were chains, eatable but not close to NY style. I read the write ups here, thought, give it a chance. We opted for delivery. Our Pizza arrived at our hotel prompt, delivered by the owner, and pipping hot. Delicious, we made pigs of ourselves, with leftovers for breakfast. While it might not be exactly like we've enjoyed in Naples, it's closest thing you gonna get in Saint Augustine Florida. It's all about the crust, wonderfully hot, great even next morning out of the fridge, the sauce, cheese, our chosen toppings were right up there to boot. Did not receive my pizza AT ALL. Baked ziti had NO taste, could of made it better at home, chicken Parmesan couldn't even eat it, the chicken was like rubber. Garlic knots were hard and with ZERO taste. Had to throw out the whole meal, well besides the pizza i never received! Very disappointed. Was looking for a new pizza place. read more

So we went here because of the high Yelp reviews and it was satisfactory. The pizza we ordered was a Hawaiian pizza and the first tip off that the pizza was not going to be great was the can of pineapple chunks they opened why not buy fresh pineapples at the local market or grocer? Also the sauce didn't taste home made, maybe from a supplier??? Didn't taste fresh anyway. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was cool with a foosball table and tv. We love pizza - and this is the best. Perfect crust. Perfect sauce. Try Grandma's style and you'll say, "What IS this?!" It's so good. We have also gobbled down the chicken parm. Amazing. I want to state this upfront. I'm a transplant from New Jersey/Philadelphia area and passionate about pizza. Specifically, New York style pizza. I've been to other pizzerias in the area and haven't been impressed. Until now. I read Amy and Augie's biography and thought I should give this place a try. I ordered a deluxe pizza and veggie rolls. First the pizza. The crust was perfect. Crispy with that 'chew' that's undeniably New York style. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The veggie rolls were jammed packed with broccoli, spinach, garlic and cheesy goodness. Awesome!! I can't say enough about the quality of the product and how friendly Amy is to get customers. On vacation and needed to eat fast! This place was able to stop the hunger with the new york style pizza that is off the hook. If your crew can't decide on toppings, go by the slice - everyone's happy! Get the pinwheels if there are any left. Garlic knots are also a great add. Pepperoni WITH ricotta cheese was my favorite slice. Chicken parm? Awsome! Did I mention FREE refills! Service was excellent, fast, friendly, even gave my kids a lollypop after dinner. Yesterday I ordered a grandma pie, now don't get me wrong st Aggies pizza, is very good , they have very little competition, except for pizza time on st George st but to my surprise it cost me 25.50 for a friggin pizza? I guess your wondering why? Me too! Small grandma pie, where you need to eat two slices to equal one pizza time slice, and now the real kicker is they have the meat balls to charge a .99 cent service fee, and expect a tip to boot ! During this pandemic, the neighborhood supported this place with their patronage,and here's our thanks.Good luck Bizon you won't see me again, I feel like I was doped .............. I appreciate your very quick response, but may I add, I don't Begrudge you for making a living and I do realize things go up for everyone. All I ask is fair market price you are more expensive than everybody else and by the way I walked in for that pie ! No third party sale . I have actually eaten here unlike the one star review. Before St Augie's opened I had given up on finding good pizza in downtown. Moving from New Jersey to Florida I had very high standards. Their pizza is the best pizza I have had and now I order from them at least once a week. The owners are super nice and very personable. You can tell they use good quality ingredients because the pizza tastes amazing. If you are visiting town for the weekend or an actual local I would highly recommend St Augies pizza. read more

St. Augie's is located by the intersection of Riberia and King Street, across from First United Methodist Church. The street sign is smaller, and the restaurant is tucked between establishments closer to the street so it can be slightly easy to miss. The restaurant is brick with large windows that have "PIZZA" across both sides. I went for lunch and had the lunch special- buy 2 slices of pizza and get a free drink. I had the Buffalo Chicken pizza and the Spinach pizza with a sprite. On a scale of 1-10, the quality of the food was a 10. Both slices of pizza were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. They were not greasy or soggy and had a crispy bottom, but it was not burnt. Everything is hand made in front of guests and fresh! I would give my soda a 10 as well because it was not flat and had a great taste. I would give my food/beverage quantity a 10 as well because the size of the slices are very large. I was able to eat one slice and took the other to go because I was full after one. The quantity of the soda was great because it was free refills. I would rate the value for the dollar a 10 as well, because my meal only cost $8 and was excellent. The service at this restaurant is a 10 because the employees go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The owners also make an effort to get to know their customers on a personal level, creating a feeling of a warm and family-oriented environment. I would give the decor of the restaurant an 9 because they have room to add a couple more pictures. They have great pictures up and a foosball table for people to play with until their food is ready. I also like that they have Flagler jersey's hanging because it shows they support their local college student-athletes. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was incredible. I always look forward to seeing the staff now and the food I receive is always consistent. The food is always fresh, delicious, and cooked perfectly. The restaurant is also very clean which is important for me as a customer. The owners remember my name and my order, making me want to come back all the time! The only improvement this restaurant could make is adding tables and seats because the have the room. It has continued to grow and become more popular so I had to wait for a seat to open when I went. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in the St. Augustine area. It is truly one of the best I have ever been to. read more

Good service not overcrowded price is way better than in the middle of town. My husband is super picky with his New York Pizza and it good. we had a whole pie of white pizza and also a pizza that was half sausage and half pepperoni. It was clean and the kids played free foosball game while we were there. Recommend over most pizzas in florida. read more

This is the best Pizza in town. If I close my eyes I would swear that I was in NY. The crust is thin and crispy and their sauce is fantastic. We had a slice of Sicilian, a slice of Spinach with fresh ricotta and 2 rice balls. If I wasn't full I would have ordered more but if gives me something to go back for. read more
