Came on a Saturday, around 6pm wasn't full at all. We ordered a few slices of different pizzas, some bread rolls. Pizza was soft but greasy, bread rolls were ok a bit too thick for me. I was bummed with the drink selection the fountain machine was broken (not a problem for me because I don't drink soda) , but the fridge only had canned sodas, a loaded sugary sparkling soda with aspartane, and an artificially flavored tea. I can't remember seeing water. Staff were nice, inside was clean.

This is the best pizza I have had in years! You can buy it by the slice and they pop it back in the oven to heat it back up and it toast the bottom to slightly crunchy. The flavors were a delight and the cheese reminded me of MA bar pizza! Must do in town!

Just recently had a pretty good slice of white at St. Augie's! When a pizza shop brands itself as NY style, I get very speculative because growing up with Philly and NYC pizza I realize I had only the best as a kid. While it was thin crust and they had all of the typical options, it was probably the best pizza I've had yet down in FL. I really liked the thin crust, the abundance of cheese, and the whole pizza shop vibe of the place. I'd go back again. While it's not super close to NY style, I did enjoy and I think you will too!

Yes, I would recommend this place as the go to pizzeria in St. Augustine. The choose of by the slice or a whole pizza. Definitely fresh n hot to order. Other options are available from mozzarella sticks to french fries to garlic knots to calzones and subs. There is something hot n fresh for an individual on a budget to a group outing. Across the street from Flagler College so has a college feel to it. Within walking distance from downtown St. Augustine. Worth the walk to.

Delicious! My aunt & I stopped by because we were told they make their crust with NY water... OK maybe that's not true but it definitely tastes authentic! Thin, crisp crust with delicious toppings. I WISH THEY HAD A 6 star option Anyone that doesn't give this place a perfect score is really trippin, and doesn't eat pizza like me. I eat pizza like everyday, and am very picky about where I order from. When I tell you that this place pizza is la fcking FLAMMMEEE. The sauce is amazing, leaves a great after taste. The bread thickness is perfect. You don't get too full off of an all bread slice of pizza. The flavors really come through on every bite. PARKING WAS SUPER EASY. Finally tried this place and ordered an eggplant parm hero and a grandma slice. Being from NY, I've learned to keep my expectations low down here, BUT St Auggies definitely changed my mind. They MUST have a NY water filtration system because the pizza crust was delicious. Light, crunchy, almost buttery and the slightly sweet sauce had just the right acidity level and perfect amount of oregano in the seasoning. The Eggplant parm hero was tasty but the bread, although very fresh, wasnt toasted and it seemed to eclipse the eggplant slices. Next time I'll ask if I can do it as a dinner with spaghetti. Had a slice once when I couldn't find anything on a menu at a foofy restaurant in St Aug where the group chose to eat. Took a walk through Ice Plant just to show the out of town peeps then succumbed to hunger for that slice. Ummm amazing! My husband had a bite and we were sold. We live in PVB but we are heading to StAug later to walk around and he has no clue we are getting a to go pie! OMG I just read what few negative reviews there are and they were funny. We are from out of town and my daughter was craving pizza. We looked found this place on Yelp and it had great reviews however it was the pictures that had us hooked. After passing numerous pizza places on the way we rolled in and were absolutely blown away by how amazing the pizza was. While there are many choices to choose from, we ended up with their signature pie (the Grandma) and it definitely does not disappoint. From the hearty size to the sweet tomato sauce, this pizza is no doubt the best pizza I've had in a really long time. My favorite neighborhood pizza place--now the closest place to get pizza if you live in Lincolnville. I go several days a week on the way home from work for a couple slices. I like the crispy bottom their pizza has and especially like the white pizza topped with delicious ricotta cheese. Pricing for downtown St. Augustine is very fair! read more

History

Established in 2018.

This store opened in July of 2018. Owner/Pizza maker owner Augie grew up in Brooklyn. He started making pizza at the age of 13. Throughout the past 35 years he has owned 3 pizza stores in the N.Y. area. His wife Amy and him felt that Florida deserved to have authentic N.Y. style pizza and other authentic Italian dishes. He purchased a Pizza store at the mall in St Augustine. The store became instantly successful. Unfortunately the location didn't give them the ability to have as many people experience the pizza as they hoped it would. Although very successful they felt there goal of getting their products to the masses was not met. At that point they decided to sell the store and find a location closer to downtown. After a year and a half we finally opened St Augie's pizza and although we only opened 6 months ago the response has been overwhelming. We use only the freshest and finest ingredients. We treat every person who comes through the door as family. BON APPETIT!

The first chicken parm piece that was got was rather large in size, however as we cut into the dish we noticed that half of the meat was still pink and cold to the touch. We showed our waiter, and instead of treating us with some empathy, we were told that "well its not our fault, but I've been trying to tell the guys in the back to pound the meat before cooking it." We were given another piece of chicken, and it was only slightly better than the first piece, but we ate a few bites and called it an evening. It's too bad, I'd be willing to try this place out for other dishes but I don't know if I'll choose this place again, knowing there are other options nearby. The best part of the evening was the ambiance and the wine, so maybe a happy hour in the future is in order.

Excellent pizza. If you like true NY pizza then you will love this. Just the way pizza should be. Perfect crust sauce and cheese ratio. This will be the only place we get pizza from when we come to St. Augustine. I moved to the South from NJ 17 years ago and have missed the pizza since. My husband cheated on me and tried their place without me so I suggested dinner there last night. Let me tell you, BEST PIZZA EVER!!!!
