We have been going to Joe's for many years and have found the services fairly priced. They are up front and professional and in my experience, very accommodating. I had to work from there once, way before posting the WiFi password was a thing, and they not only provided internet service but set me up in the waiting room. The waiting area can use a little updating but overall what I'm most interested in is have good quality service performed on my vehicles. The guy who owns this shop is a liar and a con artist. Be aware that this shop will take parts out of your car and steal your parts while placing used parts in your car. This guy, Joe, the owner is a smooth talker. I am a veteran and upon bringing my truck home i noticed that they had taken one of my front used tires and placed one of the used front tires on the back of my truck. I bought two front tires and they stole one of my good back tires and placed a used front tire to replace a good rear tire. They stole a caliper and replaced it with a substandard one. They took the humidity plugs from my doors and stole them. They also left my truck dirty and full of grease on my seats. This guy Joe, he talks a smooth sales pitch but if you are not aware they will rip you off. This guy is Indian from India and he is a crook and a liar and very smooth. read more

Went in after a bad accident, cost of labor was a little bit higher than usual but they addressed the problem in its entirety, plus cleaned out my battery and fuse box without me asking which I've never had anybody do. I can't stand working on my car in the Florida heat since I'm from Maine, and the turnaround time was a lot shorter than if I had tried to do it myself. It's rare to say this about a mechanic but I trust Jo. I've got a BMW that I've been servicing there for a couple of years now and I'm sure he saved me thousands. I trust him to find the problem without overworking and overcharging me. When multiple other automotive centers were charging my brother over thousand dollars he was able to repair the problem with a simple part the cost about $100. He's even stayed well after his shop is supposed to close just to get the car back to me so I can use it for work the next day where of you ever heard of that happening before now days. I live in South Tampa and I'm going to drive out to him and Brandon because he's that good. He's the type of guy that if you give me the opportunity to fix your car I can assure you you'll be coming back to him as well. read more

EXCELLENT AND TRUSTWORTHY SERVICE I had a terrible experience with Firestone shop, where they tried to rip me off and still claim that they could not repair my car. Needless to say I was desperate, that's when a coworker kindly saved the day by directing me to St Joseph's Automotive. They took the time to listen to what I had noticed was malfunctioning in the car, after running their diagnosis (for absolutely no cost, the other shop charged me an insane amount of money just for a diagnosis!), Joe kindly and patiently explained what was happening with my engine and even took me to look at it while educating me in the process. After they were done with the repairs, I was amazed with their DECENT AND FAIR PRICE, nothing like the outrageous rip off Firestone tried to pull on me. I found Jo and his shop after a really, really awful experience with another local auto shop. As a skeptical yankee who cried when she moved away from her family mechanic, I couldn't be happier or more confident in them. They've done some pretty big repairs on my little grandma car for very reasonable prices (and always given options for either a temporary and inexpensive fix *or* a permanent but sometimes slightly more expensive fix). I appreciate how they always check in with me before just going and doing something, and they never talk to me like I'm an idiot. The first time I was there, they took me back and showed me exactly what was going on (thus confirming that I was getting snowed by the *other* shop, and validating my suspicions). Jo has lent me his car, and on one occasion, his wonderful wife gave me a ride to work. Anyway, I could ramble on and on about their awesomeness, but I'll leave it at this: You'll be hard pressed to find a more ethical, friendly, and capable crew than St. Joseph Automotive. I took my 2001 F150 to Saint Joseph's for repairs. It needed quite a bit of work. I waited for a few weeks to post the review so I could confirm that their work is superb! The truck is running like new! So very pleased with the quality of work and the friendliness of the staff. Jo lent us one of his vehicles because the truck needed some additional work that could not be completed by the end of the day. The pricing is very fair. I would highly recommend this business for your automotive repairs. Another good point is they give you a price before they ever start the work and if they run into an issue they call and discuss it with you. St. Josephs Automotive is an honest, dependable automotive repair shop. We all know this can be hard to find these days. I met Jo the owner in July of 2013. He was very friendly and professional. I've had a few repairs done on a couple of vehicles since July. His prices are very reasonable and his mechanics always did a great job in a timely fashion with state of the art equipment. I called in to have my vehicle inspected for my insurance company. The owner or the gentle man that answered the phone was very rude and disgusting. He had no customer service skills. He told me to make an appointment and hung the phone up. He didn't even give me a chance to make that appointment. If you are running a business there needs to be an environment where the customer feels safe and comfortable to return. I took my business else where and was greeted and treated like a human being and the car inspection took about 10 mins. I would not recommend this place to a family member or friend because of the hostile way I was greeted in person and over the telephone when all I wanted was a simple car inspection and to be treated fair and kind. read more
