Don't accept their advice without checking with another vendor, especially if they advise to refill AC with Freon! They came quickly when our AC was out, tested our 17 year old system and found no Freon in the system and no leaks. The tech couldn't explain it but recommended refill at $1300. Desperate because of a 30 person event that evening, I didn't ask further and paid. Immediately afterward I called Vlad the service manager to ask, how did this make sense, and he muttered something about micro leaks. Two days later, the system was no longer working. They came out again and found no Freon and recommended replacement. They have declined any refund or any professional responsibility for their tech failing to warn me that a 17 year old system might be dead and that the Freon refill, after a mystery disappearance with no leaks, was a gamble. My AC system had a leak, and I started the process with a different AC company that came to the house three times, told me things needed to be replaced, disconnected all the equipment and left. I didn't hear back from them for about a week, and I didn't get answers to my calls. And this all happened in the middle of a heat wave. I also felt they were taking advantage of me and the situation. I then contacted Stable Temp and spoke to Dmitriy. He was courteous and professional from the beginning. Even though they were busy with other customers, he tried to accommodate me, and was able to scheduled a visit for the following day. By the end of the next morning he had assessed the problem, explained the work that needed to be done, and gave me a quote, which I believe was very reasonable. The next day, a time slot came available, and they installed a whole new AC system: evaporator unit, condensing unit, and furnace. Stable Temp was great. I had 3 top-rated companies submit a quote for work and Stable Temp was the only one willing to replace our A/C vent in our narrow attic. Everyone else wanted to charge us 2-5X to have either an additional unit added or to tear holes in our attic - and told us replacing the vent with our current setup couldn't be done. Stable Temp replaced our existing, old vent that was leaking air with a new, larger vent that has an air controller valve so we can modulate air flow to our trouble room. A very cost-effective and efficient solution to our problem that the other companies were not willing to do. Stable Temp arrived promptly for the free estimate and work, explained how our A/C unit was setup and walked through the options, listened to us when we asked for the lowest cost option, and did a great job installing the new vent and cleaning up after themselves. read more

I didn't expect to have such a good experience with a heating/ air-conditioning company, but wanted to share it. I needed to install a new furnace to replace a 20 year old furnace. The service was great throughout the whole process. I'm very satisfied with the pricing, scheduling, and the service. When I decided to go forward, they were able to schedule the installation of the new furnace on the second day after the call. The installers were right on time, polite, and very professional. They performed an awesome job of installation. It took four hours and the end product looked very clean and they even vacuumed up all the debris. Had my appointment on a Friday and the technician was great... he evaluated the issue with my AC and told me I'd have a quote to repair/replace my AC on Monday.
