Let me start out by saying the food was good but customer service absolutely horrible! I came in to pick up my food and all I had was a $50 bill, which was from 1974 (which I just got from the bank) Yes, I know it looks fake BUT the cashier says, Oh, I have to go ask someone to help check if its real. I totally get that. Couple minutes later she comes back and says, sorry can't accept this because we don't have change. Just a few minutes prior she was willing to accept the $50 and NO mention of not being able to accept due to not having change. Food was great, but service was pretty crappy and the place is way too small. Maybe it was just the waitress that we had cause I seen some other waitresses who seemed to be being friendly with their customers. Our waitress was not friendly at all seemed aggravated for whatever reason. It was me and my boyfriend and my kids and she took our order (adults) and was just gonna leave before I could even order for my kids. Then the table was so small the fold out menu took up mostly all the space. Then in the middle they have water, sugars and salt and pepper which takes up more space. The plates were barely able to fit on the table. We also felt like we were being rushed workers kept walking around to see if people were almost done. I understand there are others waiting, but if you are a customer paying for the meal just like everyone else then we should not have to be worried about shoving down the food just to make sure we get out quickly. Thats not how people want to spend their time during breakfast. This was just really not a good location for this place because they have alot of service, but the place is too small for all the business. I witnessed alot of people walk out because the wait was too long. Other than that the food was really good. I will be eating from here again, but I would rather order out I would never dine in here again. read more

This place never disappoints!!! We always try to stop here on our way to midway and have had breakfast multiple times. It's so good that we bring family and friends from out of town too! We love the Oreo pancakes as well as the red velvet ones. I recently had the cream cheese filled crepes that were amazing! Never heard/seen a Stacked before. Went there for brunch Monday. There were six of us at the booth. Food was excellent, presentation lovely, service - it was very crowded so service was a little sporadic. I'll highly recommend Stacked and look forward to another fine meal. Bonnie Boersma read more

This place appeared very promising but I was disappointed by the end of my experience. We got there and had a 20-25 minute wait which was okay. We got seated fine and the waitress took our order. I ordered the banana foster French toast, bacon, and sausage. All my friends food came out at the same time and I was told that they were just putting my French toast in. After 10 minutes the waitress came back and stated they were still making it. At that point I just cancelled my French toast and only had the meat. The waitress offered me juice as a replacement for my entree but I declined. Later as we were checking out, the clerk mistook my friends payment for my own. It's like, how?! He gave you a $30 check and you rang him up for $8.79! She ended up having to reverse the payment. Overall my friends did say the food was good but i wouldn't know as all i had was breakfast meats. I was dissatisfied and underwhelmed with the service. Luckily I don't live in this area so hopefully i won't have to go back. I hope the service was only bad because it was KIND of busy and not the fact that we were a group of young black people. I love the food but it's kinda pricey and if I have to deal with rude waitresses then it's not worth it. Next time I will make sure to educate the 2 very curious waitresses hiding behind the waitress station about my disability instead of letting them ruin my expensive breakfast. They should at least learn to be less obvious about who they are talking about and more aware of customer needs. read more

Great new breakfast place in Crestwood. My wife and I have been to Stacked in Oaklawn and we decided to give the new place a try. Wow! The decor and space is great. Very comfortable bright and open. But even more amazing is the food. Sure there was a small wait as they were busy, but it's well worth it. The stacked special gives you a nice variety and my wife had the crepes which were exceptional. Plus I'm a coffee guy and I love heir coffee!!! Went there for breakfast and my husband and I enjoyed it all. Good food, pancakes were light and fluffy and staff was the best!

I'd like to start out by saying the food is wonderful. However, we had a very poor experience seating 6 adults and 2 infants. After an hour wait we were seated in a booth with 2 high chairs in the aisle. We saw one of the managers say to someone else we are not serving them there. Comments were being made by customers era that we were blocking the aisle(like we sat ourselves). After 12 minutes of NO SERVICE we were asked to move to a larger more comfortable table. I think they sat us there because we waited an hour to be seated and wanted to wait to the other table was cleaned. Let me also say they do not accommodate call ahead seating. My friend and I met here for breakfast. We had heard good things about it, but both of us were very disappointed and certainly won't return next time we are in town. We are seniors and were traveling, so we didn't want to take away any doggie boxes or eat massive amounts of food. We found that we could not customize or substitute from what was on the menu. Food was ok, nothing that special, payed a lot for what we didn't eat, so for these reasons we will go somewhere else next time. read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. The staff at the Cicero Ave. location is just as bright and sunny as the 95th street location. Coffee actually tastes like coffee and your not rushed out. I took a family member there and his description of there crepes was "sinfully sensuous". So go give it a try. read more

If you are going to call yourself STACKED you BETTER have the best pancakes ever. Sorry but your pancakes tasted like warmed over Bisquick.

If it wasn't the good food I would have given a lower rating. Went to this location this past weekend. As usual the wait was long but I expected it. What I didn't expect was after we were seated how bad our waitress treated us, the service was horrible we waited about 20 minutes for her to come take our order, and trying to get coffee refill was like pulling teeth, anytime I asked for something I got no answer back, a puff of air from her nose and she walked away. 4 people drinking coffee and no sugar on the table and I was dreading asking her for sugar because I didn't want the attitude. I ended up walking over and getting my own condiments after our food finally arrived. I think sometimes people forget that tips are earned not required so I tipped exactly what she earned $0. I usually go to lumes for breakfast and love the experience. This place needs to find people that like and understand customer service. To be fair I've been to this location before and had a male waiter and had a good experience. It was this one waitress (didn't get her name) that completely turned me off of this place. Absolutely LOVE!!! this place!!!! The food is always delicious and more than I can finish. This was my second time at this location (I used to go to their Oak Lawn location) and I couldn't be more happy with my visit. I went with my husband, daughter, sister and her two children. Our food came out quickly and was getting the attention of people at other tables who even asked what some of the items were (Oreo pancakes and the stuffed French toast with fresh fruit). What made the experience the most enjoyable was our WONDERFUL SWEET and UPBEAT server named Christina. She was so wonderful with the children at our table, got everything right on our orders, and I can't even tell you how many times she came to fill up our coffee and get the kids refills. The price is a bit higher than other places breakfast places around here, but you DEFINITELY get what you pay for!!!! It is worth the money and the wait! read more
