Changing my review to a one star because today the staff was extremely rude to my kids. They have extremely limited seating, and while it was raining, they asked my kids to move to accommodate another group that already stated they would sit outside. This caused us to have to sit outside. When we said we would leave, they have no apologies & said this was their policy. We won't return. We've been customers of this place for over a year. This is unacceptable to move children into the rain for grown men. What were you thinking? This is not a family friendly group of employees at all. read more

I'm really not a waffle or pancake person, but for this place I'll make an exception. The food here is delicious, and worth the line (which on weekends might be 30+ minutes). Everything they serve is the perfect amount of fluffy and the portions are huge. Get the short stack (3 pancakes), because each one is giant. I've never been able to finish a regular stack (5 pancakes). Personal favorites: blueberry pancakes if you're looking a good classic, or Oreo n cream for a sugar rush. My boyfriend and I visited here on a Wednesday morning and we ordered two lattes and some food. We went outside to grab a table and wait for our food and the cashier who took our order finds us and tells us "I'm sorry, I pushed the wrong button for your latte and accidentally put in a coffee, so I'll need you to come back in to pay the difference. It's only $0.54." It completely killed the mood and put this place on a "will never visit again" list for us. If it's only $0.54 and YOU made the mistake, you should've just made us the correct drink that we ordered instead of making him come back inside to pay the difference. Found another gem thanks to Yelp! Great breakfast. I ordered the Portuguese sausage plate. Cooked to perfection. My husband had the kahlua pork omelette and that was equally as delicious. Kids ordered the pancake and another hit. So light and fluffy and my kids are picky. Casual atmosphere. Like that you order your food at the counter. Easy to find seating too. I believe this place deserves a higher rating but the big problem I have with it is that for a pancake house they do not even have authentic maple syrup and that makes me go crazy! A cute place to come for breakfast in the area! The loco moco was good and we also had the french toast and the pancakes. This is very similar to babystacks of las vegas. I would say the espresso drinks are very dark roast and actually a good compliment to the sweet toasts and pancakes. I would suggest leaving it unsweetened and drink it to balance out the rich flavors. We came at 7am and it was more than half full of people. Its fast-casual, so go in line, order your food then take a seat. They will bring the food out to you. The loco moco was good. The kalbi and rice had a salty marinade, very hawaii-esq. I love to bring guests from out of town here for breakfast. Their policy is 'order first, then sit down'. We were at the front of the line with plenty of tables available. I just had surgery so I sat down prior to ordering. The tall redhead waitress came and asked me to vacate the table. I told her what happened and showed her we were at the front of the line. She said..' sorry...that's our policy we can let you sit outside'. I stayed put and didn't appreciate her being a little kinder about my situation. Have been coming to Stacks for years. The food and service are good but recentlythey have been aggressively enforcing their policy that you can't sit down at a table unless you've gone through their order line. DO NOT go here if you are coming with a small child to hold, an elderly/disabled person, child with medical heeds, or a dog on a leash. Any reason you or anyone in your group can't wait 15-20 minutes standing in line to order. My family of 3 came here for breakfast after a morning run. I'm diabetic and had a low blood glucose so I sat at a table while my husband stood in line to order food. A young person who worked there told me I couldn't sit down. I told her I couldn't stand in line. She smiled and said that was their policy. We left, won't cone back. There's a million places in Dana that serve a good breakfast. read more

Great place for breakfast, really close to home. It's kind of a hip place for breakfast. I saw some people ordering breakfast with eggs, sausages and rice!
