This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise tonight. We arrived around 7 pm and although the restaurant was crowded, we were seated in about 10 minutes. We had the calamari as an appetizer......it was hot, crispy, and delicious. The accompanying sauce was excellent. We then had the Neapolitan pizza which was great! Basically, the best pizza I've had in South Florida. The service was excellent and the prices were very fair. We definitely will be returning to Stallone's. read more

We went to Stallones last night, we used to go there often in the past 10 years, never again. A party of 4 we ordered fried calamari --it was a pitiful plate with very little rings and a lot of tentacles when we mentioned it to the waiter Ralph he ignored our comments about it rather than trying to make it better. The antipasto was good, the garlic rolls were cold and very heavy and thick. 1 of us had a pizza, it was burnt looking and unappealing and the dough was heavy, 3 of us had the chicken Napolitano the plate was huge which we could of split if the waiter told us of the size of the plate, but he was more interested in a large bill for a large tip. The chicken plate was okay lacked spices and was extremely plentiful. It took forever to get take home boxes and the bill. The waiter who has waited on us before should of been more concern on our meal. This is our last time will we dine here. It used to be good and is a shame that it went bad read more

I have eaten here a few times in the past two years and have never been disappointed. If you are from Philly/NJ/NY area and are looking to find pizza like home, this is the closest it gets in the area. Just ask for it well done. We have had their traditional, margherita and pepperoni pies and they were all amazingly tasty, perfect amount of garlic and cheese. My husband loves their chicken parm, its actually his favorite, not just in Boca area but even back home in Philadelphia. My 21 year old son also loves the chicken parm sandwich. And both myself and my 20 year old daughter can't get enough of the caesar salad. They also deliver which comes in handy sometimes if you are in the area. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is their prices are a bit high but I still eat here anyway, so thats saying something! Love it will eat here again and again. read more

I ordered dinner for my family through their website and an hour later after it didn't arrive I find out that they had technical problems... Which I can somewhat, but the way the manager and hosted acted towards me as if it was my fault or I was lying about placing the order on their website blew me away.... After moving to Boca 3 years ago I've been looking for really good Italian food, and I've finally found it. The chicken parm is the best I've had in Florida, period! And when calling, the person who takes my order is always friendly and the food always arrives really fast. Be advised, they only deliver starting at 5 pm. This place is the best place to go for really good Italian food. My wife and I have probably been coming here for almost ten years now since moving near the Boca area. Stallone's has never let us down, their food is always cooked and prepared the way we like it and the staff is amazing. I have been recommending Stallone's to people who ask us for good restaurants to eat at, I tell them about our past experiences and how great their food is. It's not a big place, seats about 80 people, but their food speaks for itself. Give Stallone's a try, they might be your favorite place to go for really good Italian. Had dinner last night. I have not been back here for several years. The food was excellent. Service was great, nice atmosphere. Very professional, server David. Overall a great experience in a town loaded with Italian restaurants this is one of the better ones I have been to. My wife and I have the Eggplant Parmesan and one of the specials of the evening a Risotto, with Spinach and mushrooms. Excellent as was the bread and the salads. I saw the pizza at other tables and did not have one but they looked great and will have to come back for one. I definitely plan on a return visit. read more

I have lived in Boca Raton for 20 years. We have been going to Stallones on a monthly basis (either eating in or taking out). Their food has been acceptable (my kids like it). I just had a miserable experience today with the manager on duty, where after ordering $75 of food to take out (in the summer!), he told me that nothing in my order comes with pasta and told me I would have to pay an extra $6 for a kids order of linguini with no sauce. One of the meals was the "Italian Feast" which is a mix of different types of Italian food. They consider the 1/2 order of lasagna "enough pasta" even though the meal also comes with chicken parm, eggplant parm, peppers/onions/sausage and meatballs. I told them I would make the pasta at my home instead. There are so many Italian restaurants nearby, including Dominics, I, Dominics II, and Davitos, That doesn't even include the nearby gourmet pizza places like Steves or Stellas. What a shame.....It is a Thursday evening in the summer. Stallones isn't concerned about year round residents. I'm glad they're doing well during "season". read more

This is one gem. We've been searching for an Italian restaurant with the fine quality & taste that resembles the ones in the NY/NJ areas. Stallones is the closest thing we've encountered. The Italian wedding soup with chicken meatballs & vegetables was flavorful, seasoned perfectly. The veal parmigiana was tender & delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The marinara sauce was probably a family secret handed down from one generation to the next. Portion size sent you home with food to remember this place the next day. Shortly thereafter I received a telephone call from your establishment stating you had no ham and no pineapple so the female representative asked if I would like to substitute prosciutto instead of ham. Since I was unable to speak due to radiation to my vocal cord, I said yes not knowing that all I would taste is "salt," not even cheese. When I say it tasted disgusting, that is being kind. I have been dining in and ordering take-out from Stallone's for the past few years but after last nights incident and how it was handled, I would never consider going back, rather I will be telling everyone I come in contact with how bad the pizza tasted and how my complaint was handled and what one could expect when eating at Stallone's. I come in contact with at least 30 homeowners a day. In fact I have done work on Frank Stallone's home in Boca Falls as well as Joe and Cathy Bilotti's home in Boca Falls only to name two who reside in the Boca Falls community. The way your company handled this matter was so unprofessional it was actually comical and I will now be posting this on the Internet so people doing a search on where to eat may find my posting or perhaps one may be considering calling up for a delivery. Immediately after tasting how bad the pie tasted, I sent in a second fax stating only two slices were removed AND all of the prosciutto was removed from the slice and it still tasted like salt and the prosciutto was put back in the carton and I was hoping that a plain pie could be exchanged and delivered. To my surprise, the female representative called stating they could deliver another pie however I would still be charged the full amount. I was shocked. At least give the customer a discount if they were unhappy with the pie and 6 of the eight slices AND all of prosciutto was still in the box. All I can say is business must be pretty bad at Stallone's if you do not make good on a terrible tasting pizza. If you want really good Italian food, try Maggiano's Little Italy but never have a meal delivered by Stallone's as you are then stuck with the bill and lousy food. read more

Bad service, crappy excuse for Italian. My lunch and money were wasted. A ruined lunch at Stallone's. Friday afternoon for lunch and started with a house salad which tasted and looked old. Old brown leaves, like something that had been sitting out and expired. Not fresh at all. Ordered Tuscan chicken which was "okay". But the food overall is terrible. Garlic knots were very soggy and too much garlic. People working here have a very bad attitude. Not friendly. My husband ordered Chicken Parmigiana and they charge extra for something that I still cannot figure out. They said butter on the pasta is an extra $2.00. We just wanted to leave and pay the bill. Stallone's: the food is terrible and not worth the hassle from having to deal with their staff, their service is horrible, atrocious and the food sucks. Don't waste your money. Sorry but I'm here to spend my money and it was wasted. There are much better Italian restaurants in the area and this will be my last time at this dump. read more

DISGUSTING AND GROSS! I am giving it 1 star because that is the only way Yelp will accept this review otherwise I truly believe Stallones owes me stars...they are in the negative! I cannot believe that anyone in there right mind would even eat here more than once! I had to walk out on my eggplant Parm sub because it was not edible, not even close to being edible. I firmly believe that his place is taking advantage of the retirees in this area and Scamming the public! The eggplant was greasy and fried in dirty oil, saturated with grease. The sauce was tasteless and lacked everything. The bread was horrendous and stale. The server was completely understanding and I tipped him for being nice and handling the situation. This place is a sin to be open. I remember Stallones in NY years ago, they were great and I hope this is not the same family because this place went so far down hill that they are in Hell. First off...they are not related to Sylvester, that's a fact...not that they are trying to be but people believe that so I am personally clearing that up. Second, you must believe me when I tell you, you are at risk when you walk in the door, I had the wedding soup and I left Ill, thank God I did not eat the rest of the eggplant! Holy Jesus I can't believe people, if any really go there or I they just staying open because they made boatloads of money years ago and they can care less anymore. Major disappointments. Stallones will go down in my history of the worst restaurant I have ever been to in my entire 51 years on this planet. To sum it up, buyer beware! My first and last visit. I had the mussels in marinara sauce with linguini, sautéed spinach in garlic and oil and a bowl of pasta fagioli. To start I was pleased to see the pasta fagioli had lots of beans and pasta. It wasn't just broth. But there was no flavor. To me pasta fagioli could be a meal in itself. I was offered bread or garlic bread. I chose the garlic bread. It was rolls with butter and garlic. Garlic bread is made with Italian bread. And to top it off, the rolls were stale. When I asked for REAL Italian bread, the waiter said this is all we have. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? How do I eat Italian food without Italian bread??? At least the mussels were delicious. The linguini, well if you like garlic it was great. It was to much for me. And as for the spinach. It wasn't sautéed completely and the garlic was just lumped into one spot. I had to spread it throughout the rest of the spinach myself. I guess it's me. I'm just a spoiled Italian from New York who grew up having had real Italian food my whole life. But if you like this kinda crap hey go for it. I shoulda gone to Maggiano's Little Italy. It was a little further away but it reminds me of grandma's house at Sunday dinner. read more

Terrible service. My daughter got her food, 5 minutes later my wife got hers and 10 minutes later I received mine with no apology or explanation of the reason it was all delayed. The waitress,Robin, stood around talking to the other employes and never checked on our order. What was once a great family place when Alex and Greg worked there has lost me as a diner. fresh, hot, family italian. our waiter jose was awesome, attentive and friendly. my sister introduced me while i was visiting for a few days, she goes here weekly. she always gets the veggie alfredo on angel hair with a past fagiole soup included. she absolutely LOVES it. i tried the tilapia in a light wine/cream sauce... also EXCELLENT. my only disappointment was the house salad. very fresh veggies, but please, when will the world move away from iceberg lettuce. read more

Rarely dine in, but regularly carry out. I am Italian and don't order "Red Sauce" in most Italian restaurants so I cannot comment on it. Although it is the closest Pizza to our house, it is not our "Go To " pizza place. Have had great experiences with the Specials. Pizza OK. Salads pretty good. However, the main reason for my review ... The delivery driver should be fired. He has (on two separate occasions) lied about the total when asked at delivery. For example, for a bill of $18.12, he said it was $19 and didn't offer the receipt (until I asked for it). In my opinion, he was doing it to increase tips for himself. I didn't post this on the first time it happened to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it happened again so I want to make everyone aware. SCAM! read more

I have gone to Stallone's on numerous occasions over the past 5 years and last Saturday night will be my last. I was told about the specials and I was asking it I could get the veal francesse with no pasta and substitute veggies instead - well when the dinner arrived it was one of the specials - snapper with shrimp francesse. I told the waiter and she said that is what I ordered, I told her I was asking about what I could get instead of pasta with the veal and she said no you ordered this and I won't exchange it. Well, I ate it and made the best of it and I was floored when the bill came and the "special" was $31.50 - with the veal being $20.50. After 15 minutes of arguing with the waiter she certainly doesn't believe in the customer is always right - I got a big 10% off. When she was rattling off the "specials" at no time did she even state the price. WHAT A RIPOFF $31.50 FOR A PIECE OF FISH AND 3 SHRIMP - NO TO MENTION THAT IS NOT WHAT I ORDERED - NEVER AGAIN FOR ME AT STALLONES - OLIVE GARDEN HERE I COME - AT LEAST THEY WOULD HAVE ACCOMMODATED ME AND NOT MADE ME KEEP THE WRONG ORDER!!!! read more

I'm not really sure how I feel about this place but I can relate a recent experience. I placed an online order after about half an hour the restaurant called me to say that they just noticed the order come in and wanted to know if I still wanted it, the woman who called me was extremely nice about it. I get that this was an honest mistake so it really didn't bother me. After a bout another hour the food arrived. I paid for it (no discount or anything was offered, which is cool it just would have been nice) I paid the driver and about after about a minute I heard a loud banging on my door, I checked my home security feed and it was the delivery driver, I think he mentioned on the tape something about man love. I open the door to find the driver upset that I accidentally had not paid the full amount. I have never stiffed anyone in my entire life and definitely raised an eyebrow when they were so ready to overlook an honest mistake on their part but when I do it there is talk of man love. I paid the driver the balance (once again honest mistake) and he left. The food was so - so really nothing to write home about. I really have no problem with how stallones acted it really was the presentation of these events which is why I am unlikely to do business with this establishment. read more
