I bought my Ford focus in 2016 and paid cash. I met the owner mr. francello and all was good. Now 6 years later one of my key fob stopped working and was told it would cost $170 plus labor for 2 key fob plus programming. my husband took the key fobs in today to their service dept and all he got was rude attitude by the guys that worked the front desk. they started quoting over $300 to get the new key fob and program it??? putting a new battery in did not wirk either. they have poor customer service and you would think that we paid cash we would be treated better but no. it seems when the key fob breaks on the ford focus you have to just use the keys manually otherwise get ready to pay over $300 because the ford requires two keys. If I can go back in Time I would never by from Stamford ford dealership because if those guys are still working the front desk get ready to waste your time. if I can go back in time I would not buy a Ford I would by a Subaru. good luck. read more

While buying a new car is always a bit of a pain, I have to say that Barry P made it as smooth as possible. We already knew exactly what we wanted, so we sent emails to two Ford dealers. The guys from McMahon in Norwalk are complete buffoons! They can't even answer a valid sales email without the usual "come down today and talk" or "are you paying or leasing"? They never answered a single question. They miss the point of email, I don't want to come "visit" if your selection or pricing stinks. Barry answered everything, gave us some decent pricing, set us up with a totally great test drive (no annoying salesman in the car, LOL). Clean facility, nice people. I am sure they do the hard sell on some folks, but if you know what you want, and what you want to pay, these guys are good. I mean you have to be a moron not to look up the dealer cost online to know if you are getting a decent deal or not. So they recognize if an intelligent customer walks in. I told them I wanted to be out of there in under 30 minutes when we actually picked up the car. No extra sales pitch for warranty, paint coatings, etc etc. Barry pulled it off, we were out of there on time and treated very professionally. We had to order the car from the factory, since we wanted a particular color and set of options. This was no problem. About 6 weeks. We have had a couple of follow up question on the Sync/Nav stuff, and Barry gets the answers in no time. High recommend dealing with him. I had my first service recently, and it took quite a long time for an oil change. I could see if I was a walk in, but I had an early appointment. So I was a little disappointed in that. I always bring books, computer, crossword, etc so I was not bored! But might not drive all the way over there for routine service if its gonna take that long. And that is why you get 4 stars, not 5! read more

Stamford Ford has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had in a dealership to date please beware before you do any business with them especially service department! This place is a very mismanaged and has poor level of customer service and frankly 1 Star is to much credit not just this dealership but the upper management as well. They have had our suv for near 7 weeks now and currently counting and they refuse to admit the fact that they dropped the ball in this and cover us with a loner car mind you we haven't complained about the ridiculous amount of time its taken to make repairs and have been patient. Their communication is poor and they frankly are comfortable telling lies to their customers as well as passing blame to however they can but themselves. Worst service department EVER. There was one scenario where they didn't work on my car for a full weekend because "both sets of keys were not in the car." I had to call a taxi down there just to show them that the keys were in the door, just as I told them over the phone. The other 3 times I brought my vehicle there, it took at least 5 days longer than expected to do a 45 minute job. The icing on the cake was when Greg from the service department told me it costs a "flat rate fee of $599" to do a 1-2 hour diagnosis. SCAMMERS. Avoid this place. read more

I bought a certified used Ford Fusion here 2 years ago and haven't gone anywhere else since! The sales and haven't gone anywhere else since! The sales department was informative and worked with me to make sure I drove off with exactly what I wanted. Then the service department always took care of me. They truly are fantastic at what they do and genuinely. Are about giving their customers the support they need. I won't go anywhere else! I even decided to upgrade my used car to a brand new one today! Give them your business and you won't be disappointed. Ask for Mike Mykytey for sales and Scott or Peter for service! They're the best! Great until 5/18/19. First off, Service Manager and General Manager are forever ABSENT. I purchased my 2014 Focus ST from a RI dealer (Flood Ford) since Stamford didn't have any ST's on the lot at that time. Before purchasing, I asked Stamford if they would do regular maintenance since I live in Norwalk, They gladly agreed. SO, Stamford Ford has been the only dealer who touched the car since September 2014 for routine oil changes, once-overs, and tire rotations as need. They've been great until 5/18/19. On 5/11/19 while traveling south on Henry Hudson Parkway, I hit a chunk of concrete which immediate blew out the front passenger tire. Unfortunately, I was unable to change the tire due to stripped lug nuts from presumable their high impact air wrenches during multiple tire rotations over the past 4 years. Since I was on the most dangerous section of the HHP, the tow driver didn't have tools and ultimately charged me $140 to two me to 112th st and 2nd ave, while getting whiplash in the process. I lost $200 in food which I donated to the tire fix place (they were so thrilled - bless their hearts). I never made it to NJ for Mother's Day Dinner, and finally made it home after a 9 hour ordeal, on a spare tire. Fast forward to Sat 5/18: - They didn't have the lugs in stock that I SPECIFICALLY requested on Mon 5/13 for them to order so they're on site to replace the bad ones this dealer damage - They did install the 2 new front tires I had delivered from Amazon - They did change the oil as requested (albeit early) Here was the technician's excuse as to why they WOULD NOT pay for new lug nuts: - The metal "swells" and that's why you were unable to properly put the factory supplied lug wrench onto the factory supplied lug nuts - I also pointed out the damage (curved edges) on the lugs that was clearly done by a high-impact air wrench at Stamford Ford - The undamaged lugs that were taken off to replace with locks when originally purchased in new condition, these haven't been touched since new and THEY HAVE NOT "SWELLED" and the lug wrench fit on these PERFECTLY. So your "swelling" hypothesis is nothing but lip service to cover up your mistake - NOTE: The 2.5 hours I was there on 5/11, all I kept hearing was the sound of a air-powered impact wrench that is typically used to remove lug nuts for tire rotations So completely flabbergasted at the lack of customer service at this dealer. I will be sharing my experience with a friend and state senator and will be filing a suit in small claims court, NOT ONLY for the cost of the lugs nuts ($102.00) but also for the tow to a facility that was able to remove the Stamford Ford damaged lug nuts ($155.00). SHAME ON YOU STAMFORD FORD FOR YOUR LACK OF OWNING UP TO A $102.00 SCREW UP ON YOUR PART. I HAVE ALL THE PHOTOS AND PROOF AND WHETHER I WIN OR NOT, IT'S JUST ON PRINCIPLE. My wife and I could not be happier with our new Ford Explorer ,and the awesome experience we had with Mike at Stamford ford,I brought our truck in for service. I had 3 months left on the lease, so I talked to Mike about maybe getting out of it early. I know some sales people say yes to everything but Mike said to me lets see if it makes scene. he took his time working out a deal that was a win win ,he also was very up front and honest with me about everything that's why I will be back in 3 years for our next one. Final Update, January 30, 2017 yes January 30, the car has been at the dealer since before December 16, 2017 and again "supposedly" now its fixed. OF course I am seeking Lemon Law protection since Ford decided they would NOT buy back the car after a "Good faith" review, which is everything but good faith. The dealer and I had a good relationship and they have been courteous to me BUT why two stars? Im being fair because the Customer relations person told me that it took so long because the dealer was difficult to get a hold of and Truly did not confirm to me that the dealer provided suggestions to them to buy back this car as the dealer told me by the owner and Service manager they would. Therefore I cannot give 5 stars if they did not come through to protect me as they told me they would. If the dealer proves to me otherwise, I will change this rating because fair and truthful I am. I will seek State of Connecticut protection to which my attorney says is fine because the vehicle situation is well excessive of what the requirements to meet to be considered such lemon. So in short, Customer relations is LOUSY because they did not respond to my last call for a simple question to protect the belief of the dealer being truthful to me, Ford is LOUSY they don't stand by the products and doesn't care about the inconvenience to the customer and the dealer since the beginning was really bad on its delivery of the vehicle and all the problems. I had, but they addressed all that mess and tried to fix it and seems nice but according to customer relations did NOT do what they told me they were going to do in respect to the report on this vehicle and the suggestion to to ford buy it back. On a good note, The loaner I've had runs great! but today it goes back. I would have a picture but the car has been in my home maybe 30 days of 120 approximately since it got delivered, otherwise its been at the dealer service center. The war goes on, but Ford has just lost a customer for good. I purchased over 10 vehicles in the past 10 years, at least they will know I wont be purchasing one of theirs. PS when you ask this dealer to install any aftermarket things such as I did with strobe lights, the place they used is called MY Way Auto body, 36 Gleason Ave, Stamford, CT 06902 is what they use and has been leaking into headlights, tail lights and even the strobes have condensation which shows shabby installation, and shabby Junky product. I will be sure to leave a rating on them also. Don't trust period! I really liked this place when I first got there, I have to admit I like some of the people there, but Im not sure if Im being truthfully dealt with, just like I cant understand why it took over 45 days to supposedly change tire brands. Again, if the dealer proves to me a time stamped email stating the report that they suggested and did as they told me they would I will change my rating because I don't leave things unattended nor as a bad review if they have done me right. I went to this dealership to buy a new Ford Transit for my business. After being handed off to a third sales rep, I asked to view a Transit and discuss details of the car. It was a day after the snow storm, and the lots were full of snow, which is fine, but no one was cleaning off the walkways or the lots at all. After waiting 5 minutes for the rep to find keys to a transit they had on the lot, we walked, and walked, and walked, looked at all the transits on both lots, all of which he could not find a corresponding key to open the door. We then walked back to the showroom and I simply asked for a brochure of the Transit and to discuss purchase options. The rep left for 20 minutes and said that he is trying to track a brochure down. After waiting another 25 minutes for a brochure, I left and will not return. I will go to the Ford Dealer in Norwalk, where, they will hopefully have better organization and a cleaner showroom. The entire time during my wait, the GM of Stamford Ford sat at his desk and looked around. What a completely useless dealership for the following reasons: 1) I was handed off 3 times within the first 2 minutes of my arrival 2) The Showroom was filthy 3) The staff could not track down keys to cars on their lot 4) The wait time to get simple things answered was too long 5) The GM sat at his desk, never offered to help. He sat staring in to space and using hand sanitizer 6) The sales rep had no idea where on the lots any of the Ford Transits were, so we walked around aimlessly trying various keys in random Ford Transit car doors 7) I was at this dealership for over 1 hour and NONE of my questions were answered, nor do I have a better idea of my leasing options/buying options 8) Overall, the dealer seemed completely disorganized, and I prefer to avoid doing business with a dealer that has no idea how to perform the fundamental job of getting a brochure and getting the right key to the right car. read more

After having it towed to another Ford dealership I was told immediately that it would be covered under warranty with no cost to me. Stamford Lincoln worked to fix our problem-plagued 2018 Lincoln Navigator. About a month in shop due to recall then ongoing issues with tailgate opening randomly. I had a bit of a run in with the service department over my tires over the month of September. I wrote in and came in to see Dominic, who was extremely understanding. Not only did he understand and see the frustration I had been going through, Dominic made it happen immediately. I left my car, and by the next day I had new tires. I was reimbursed for the bill I paid at a previous service stations, and they even paid for my entire enterprise loaner car experience. Despite it being a bumpy road, once I spoke with Dominic, he was very adamant about me being the priority. My experience with Stamford Ford Lincoln was great. I have never purchased a vehicle sight unseen and was nervous about doing so but I wanted to work with a dealer I could trust. The online reviews were great and they were not wrong. My salesperson P.J. Uva was phenomenal. Since I was coming from Long Island I was nervous about purchasing in Connecticut but P.J. took all of the worry out of the transaction. He let me put a refundable deposit on the used Ford F250 and if I did not like I could walk away. When I saw and drove the truck I wanted it and the purchase was completed quickly by the finance staff. All of the NY plates were taken care of and it was a quick and easy experience.
