I have gone to this place about three times. The first was for a slow leak. Instead of any warranty repair or tire replacement - they wanted to charged me about $80 for a patch! Another tire-only place did it for free! Another time I received a $50 gift card from them. I figured that I would use it for an alignment that I did not REALLY need, but I might as well get since I have not had one in three years. I get there, talk about the pricing online and give them the gift card and everything SEEMED to have been on it's way to being fine. Then as I am settled in thinking that the alignment is being performed, the pay lady comes to me and tells me that I should consider an oil change (at 30%) and filter changes. I declined. The she returns later to tell me that the $50 gift card cannot be used in combination of the online 'sale' price of the alignment! I of course - declined the service. In short, I have been her three times - each time expecting a service, and they always try to up-sell me on something that I don't need or they try to charge higher prices than either advertised or available elsewhere. So I spent a lot of time here and I have yet to get actual services from these people! I am not sure how they keep business going for services by doing this and turning people away. Why send someone a gift card good for services or a new car (only), then try to make sure that we spend what THEY want us to spend instead of taking the extra money? This was pure bait and switch and it seems as if they do not want to honor any warranties or their own offers. In fact, many Acura dealers seem to find many excuses to not honor warranties. The Acura cars are good, but the dealerships are horrible and are not held accountable by Acura in their scams. The dealerships and their scams and dishonesty is what will make me NOT buy another Acura! No wonder I saw no one there. It is sad, but Honda dealers provide better customer service than the so-called luxury brand - and the Honda dealers don't try to scam you! I am guessing because Honda is Japanese to the core and in name, but Acura is American branded, thus comes with American scams and disrespect. read more

While every Acura dealer in the tri-state was marking up (aka call it price gouging or market adjustment depending on who you ask) the 2022 MDX by $2-4k over MSRP, I couldn't believe it when this dealership casually said they are simply charging MSRP. The reason, they explained, was because the owners heard feedback from Yelp and decided that they cared about customers first and chose to be an exception to the rule because they valued their long-term reputation. They also gave me the top end of the range for my trade-in vs. other dealers who lowballed to squeeze the max profits on both sides of the deal. The general manager, Ty, was very upfront, transparent, and reasonable from price, fees, rebates/discounts, and trade-ins. I did not negotiate since everything was within expectation. Every staff I interacted with was great; particularly, my sales consultant was Brian Bankson whom I recommend. We have been dealing with Acura of Stamford for over a year now to have our Acura MDX fix for a P0300 code (multiple misfire). My wife had taken the vehicle over to the dealership several times. They've charged her for maintenance that were partly done and some not done at all. Based on the invoices, spark plugs, ignition coils, gasket set and all valve adjustment (all 24) were performed. The ECM was claimed to be reset, car tested and normal operation restored. Several months after getting the vehicle back from the dealership, the check engine light came back for misfires to #4 and #6 cylinders. Seeing things were not adding up, I accompanied my wife back to the dealership. I questioned the service manager on the maintenance that were supposedly performed. I asked why they had not performed cylinder compression test but I could not get a clear answer. They kept the vehicle one last time to try to remedy the problem. On the day of picking up the vehicle, they handed her two invoice sheets stating they've replaced two more coils and performed the compression tests. Based on their data, all cylinders checked good with the exception of cylinder #5 which read below half the psi of what the others read. We were told we have a bad engine because of it and we'll need an engine replacemeant. However, upon further inspection of the engine and parts claimed to be replaced by the dealership, it was discovered very little maintenance was performed. Intake plenum and valve covers do not appeared to have been disturbed, only 4 of the ignition coils look new and all six engine cylinders read over 170+ psi of compression which is definitely good. But the check engine light still exists. We certainly demand a refund for the amount of money and time we've spent and dealt with all the lies. read more

The only reason I gave this place of business 2 stars and not 0 is because of Julien and Benny. This Acura of Greenwich just relocated to Stamford location. They have only been open for about 3 weeks now. The general manager whose name is Ty, is a RACIST. I walked in with my parents looking for a car for my mom. While trying to reasonably negotiate with the sales guy Julien, (who was great) Ty walked in and the conversation became between him and my father. As my dad tried to negotiate what would be reasonable, instead of Ty being the general manager and professional, as my dad was talking to I him he walked out on my family mid sentence left us sitting there. Had it been any other family or persons I'm not sure he would not have acted the way he did. I expressed to Julien how that made us feel and how disrespectful he was. Towards the end of the first visit, Julien tried apologized for his "GM" and I stopped him and told him he should never apologize for someone else's ignorance. As for Ty, maybe you lost your social skills within the last 15 months or maybe it's just the people who raised you, I'm not sure. But I am sure we weren't the first people you've done it to and I'm sure we won't be the last. I just hope the cash we gave keeps you asleep at night. The only reason this we chose to stick with the purchase is because my mother is a praying woman and she made sure she got what she wanted no matter the obstacle. There's a lot of favoritism with this "GM" as well. He picks and chooses when he decides to accept personal checks it is usually based off what they look like. The policy is that they DO NOT accept personal checks at all no matter what they look like. It's written all over the facility in red. But again, it's the entitlement that he feels he has. read more

And now, 11 months after Acura Stamford told me that my car needed brakes (which I did not believe and did not do) it just went in for an oil change and a complete safety check. Surprise! The car is fine. It doesn't need brakes and it didn't even need the tires rotated. What did it need at 17k miles? A new cabin air filter. Acura of Stamford: glad I didn't believe you! SMH! read more

I purchased my Acura here years ago and have brought it to their service center every service since. If you purchase there, they give you a discount on service which is an incentive. You also can get a rental if you schedule enough in advance. The buying experience was ok. We knew what we wanted and how much it was going to cost with financing. They can't do too much for you, or do they say, price wise, but they do there best getting you the car your looking for. A lot of the process is still pen and paper so that takes time, so be prepared. The service department is the saving grace. With a no frills experience, they are relatively efficient in their scheduling, service and transactions. The staff is knowledgable and hospitable. Don't expect a glamorous experience because the aesthetic is far from updated. I appreciate the charm and sensibility! read more

I bought my car from Greenwich Acura a month ago. Brian was the salesman that helped me and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very nice, polite and prompt from the first time we communicated on email. After I had looked at so many cars Brian really took the time to explain all the features in the car to make sure I understood everything. And when I took the car out for a test drive it helped me fall in love with the car as I got to use some of the fun features that he showed me. I also met Ty the GM who was very involved in my transaction. He has also been a pleasure to work with. There were a few minor hiccups but Ty took the time to make sure everything was resolved and satisfactory. The dealership is under new management and it shows they're making great changes. The application process was so ridiculously quick and easy, that I was actually suspicious when I received the call from the dealership- telling me I was all set & approved at the "highly qualified" lease rate The really impressive part; was when the showroom rep called Acura financial directly following my approval at tier 2, and got me bumped up to Lv 1 @ the lower rate. I've never seen anything like this my life, never mind though it was even possible. ** I wouldn't believe this review if I read it myself, but it's it's 100% true.** I've had some minor service adjustments done to the car since I leased the car (8000 miles so far), and Fabiano and his service team are literally the nicest people I've ever met my life. Great experience purchasing a certified Acura here recently. The salesman Brian was actually very honest about the vehicle history and not pushy at all during the process. The manager was also very easy to deal with, he actually helped out and answered questions for us instead of hiding in his office like many other dealerships. No games during the price negotiation, both the salesman and manager were present so none of that classic "going to ask my manager" runaround. I have had my Acura serviced here a few times. They are always courteous, and communicate what they are going to do clearly. After the service, I get a pretty detailed sheet with what they have checked and what condition the car is in. It is not cheap, but a ride to and from home and interior cleaning are included. read more
