The original Stanwich, on a croissant, is so good! They sold out of the bun so I got the croissant, it's so buttery and flakey! Suga of BTS had coffee here so we had to try it. We just happened to pass it and it was a block from our destination. The inside is like an old time diner and the coffee and donuts are delicious.

Was it the best donuts I've had? No. Was it decent and helped with donut cravings? Yes. They have large enough indoor seating, for half dozen of regular and half dozen of special donuts, we've paid about $40. Which is honestly insane... in this economy? And they ask for tips? Insanity. lol my favorite one was the cronuts. Their red velvet didn't really have much flavors. A lot of variety to try but you may have to pay that price. They do have other items besides donuts too.

I tried Stan's for the first time yesterday and was impressed. Although they are expensive, they're good, and you get what you pay for. I bought a dozen doughnuts and was able to try bites of a few as they were for a family party. My favorites were the plain and the chocolate glazed cake. The shop was clean and bright. And the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Kevin. Thanks for a great experience- looking forward to my next visit when we're home for Christmas!!

Nom, nom, nom! Best donuts ever. The hype is earned and is not wrong. If you're in Chicago, grab your doughnut, grab a cold brew, and enjoy the neighborhood.

Pretty good donut. This was my first taste and it was great. Service was quick and easy. Store has so much room to stretch out and enjoy your food. Pink chairs are nice touch.

I love Stan's for their Donuts and coffee. The Stan's branch I recently visited had a lot more Vegan options when compared to the downtown branch. They had Vegan Strawberry Croissant and Cinnamon Sugar donut. Both looked really good. We got the Carrot Cake as my boyfriend was craving for it. We could easily taste the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and carrots in it. Chicago has a lot of Stan's outlets and you should surely check it out once!

Great customer service and clean facilities. A lot of variety with donuts. I came for the vanilla latte which was really good.

We had stopped in here for a quick coffee before heading out of town. This place has insane donuts and one of the best matcha mixes I've ever had. The shop has a cute little area for sitting. The staff is amazing, I ended up ordering my matcha hot at first and when realizing I could have it cold the barista changed it without hassle. She was amazing and I would 10/10 recommend this location to anyone.

Very tasty and presentable donuts! I personally tried the chocolate old fashioned donut and a red velvet cake donut. No reason to go to Dunkin Donuts with these guys in the neighborhood. A tried and true Chicago classic!

    Doughy goodness.

Found myself watching Midnight Club on Netflix - c'mon, it's October, spooky month, I'm trying to be festive. Lo & behold, a character was wearing a Stan's Donuts tee. What?! Well then, it's been forever, but now I want a Chocolate Pocket with Nutella... & a t-shirt. It was roughly mid-day but they still had a couple left! They didn't have the tee in my size but I grabbed a mug. I appreciated it being wrapped carefully & packaged separate from my doughy treat. Made it home & eagerly put the goods on the counter. Would it be just as good as remember? YES. My inner Homer Simpson died of nostalgia upon first bite. I've never been a fan of filled donuts until this creation... I'm a sucker for Nutella. What can I say? The frosting stuck a bit to the paper, but it was still the same beloved donut I enjoyed years ago. I'm sure their other offerings are delicious too, I just can't bring myself to try anything else. Maybe I'll get around to a Le Stan Croissant Donut along with my usual. If you're a chocoholic like me or just enjoy a good donut, pop into Stan's. It's time to treatyoself.

    Incredible selection of donuts!

Stan's has the fluffiest egg sandwiches ever! Seriously! Try any of their egg sandwiches and you'll be hooked! Even a Keto friendly version! And don't forget the donuts! They have a beautiful selection of donuts. Vanilla, chocolate, carrot cake, sprinkles, glazed, gluten free too! You'll be happy with any one or two or three of them! The staff is great too!

    Vegan chocolate donut

Even us vegans like a sweet treat sometimes, and Stan's delivers with two selections. The chocolate vegan donut was very satisfying, moist, and not too sweet. The cinnamon sugar was hard to swallow, literally. The taste was alright, but even taking very small bites, I literally coughed and choked on it. Too bad. I had a very good decaf oak milk latte, which helped, a little, when I was trying to swallow the cinnamon sugar. The highlight of this location, though, is the customer service. The people behind the counter acted as if they were thrilled to see me, and thrilled to serve me. I felt very welcome. Customer service will make or break a business, and Stan's had the right people working there.

The only downside is that I aways seem to go when it's crowded, standing in line looking at/smelling the donuts is torture.

Meh. Over-priced. The attempt to "re-think" the donut and be over-creative fails. Why wreck an original good donut.

Tbh I remember being disappointed because of the hype. Today I entered with tempered expectations. I tried the Old Fashioned doughnut and it was somewhere between solid and above average. I'll definitely stick with Do-Rite especially because they're a few blocks away and significantly better. If the job catered Voodoo I'd indulge, but considering I prefer a few other donut shops I won't make a special trip. Great service plus a respectable donut equals 3.51 stars.

It also doesn't hurt that they are open from 6am to Midnight - perfect for those sudden doughnut cravings! One thing that can be improved is how they handle big orders. I recently ordered over 5 dozen doughnuts and it came in 6 boxes and a small bag. First problem: they don't deliver. Second and bigger problem is that they don't pack big orders so you can carry them out. How the heck am I going to carry 6 boxes and a bag of donuts??? Maybe they want to keep their business "small". A simple brown bag or even something to tie the boxes together would have been very helpful.

It's pretty small inside, with maybe no more than 10 tables. When I came there was a large party taking up majority of the dining room, leaving about 4 tables left. We didn't have reservations, but I believe they take them. Luckily we were seated right away without any issues. They are known for their Asian cuisine. Think Taiwanese fried chicken sandwiches, Japanese mochi donuts, ube, vietnamese coffee, etc. What I tried: - Mochi donuts (1 strawberry, 1 chocolate) ; so fresh! 10/10 - Strawberry/peach lemonade boba; Extremely sweet, but good! Staff was super kind from start to finish. The only downside (which is big) - it is pretty dirty around the restaurant. With all the white, you can unfortunately spot things quicker. However, it wasn't the cleanest but we were still willing to give it a try. When we arrived, the hostess/waitress asked if we had a reservation and I told her no but there were literally only 2 tables being occupied at the time, so she had us wait until she cleared another table. The menu gave a hibachi vibe, they had teriyaki bowls, unwich sushi rolls, soup, and specialty drinks but no fountain or canned drinks. I wanted the salmon and everyone else was getting chicken but that didn't happen because they were out of salmon. Really wasn't feeling the other options, so we canceled our order and left. I would definitely give the place another try but maybe earlier in the day and a different location.
