Isn't Staples supposed to be a printing service? They have their own Copy & Print section! Yet when I went here (to this specific branch), they said they couldn't print out my 5x7 invitations. They said that their printer doesn't take 5x7 paper. It could only take normal sized paper. Whaaaaat?! I remember going to a Long Beach branch (on Atlantic Ave) where I got my 4x6 invitations printed and they did it with no questions asked. I figured all Staples were created equal and did the same job. I guess not! Even with the all in one printer still being in the box and it being purchased less than 30days ago they have a 14day return policy on technology what a rip off. I will never buy technology from them again. read more

I usually dont take the time to write a long review unless I was treated really amazing or fairly poorly. In this case I was treated BEYOND AMAZING! I am a new bride who was stressing about the cost of wedding invitations. Ive been looking online and the prices of $8 dollars an invitation and for 250 people was killing me. So me and my mother decided to go to staples to see the cost difference. We went to the copy center with a picture of something that we wanted and as greeted by a guy named Patrick. He showed us were the invites to choose from were at. We stumbled at a box of invitations for $13.60 that held 50 including invitations,envelopes and rsvp cards. Stund at the price I took them to Patrick he scanned them and they were $8.60. I literally wanted to jump for joy in the store. With my slient victory I explained what I wanted on the invites and Patrick helped me format them and the total was $84 dollars printed and all. Safe to say I got an amazing deal and the finish product came out better then I imaginged and really helped us save money that we are using else where. I most definently would recommend this store there staff is so helpful and are great with following up which to me is great to help with a stressed out bridezilla.lol ,So thanks so much Patrick for the help you were amazing!definitely ask for him if you need any help! read more

If I could give you -0 in customer service I would. Terrible service if any. I come to Staples every single day to print documents that are needed on the spot for Lawyers, hospitals or Real Estate Angents and I had never experienced such rude and inefficient employees. I have been to the Hollywood, LA, Van Nuys and the service is superior there. LILIT and Raul are wonderful, Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills, Canoga Park etc and no matter if they have 10 people in line they are always helpful and efficient. I had to argue with Diane, just to get the email address to send the docs for her to tell me it would take 2 days to print a file of 90 pages. She sounded bother by my request. Then I asked to speak to the manager who was no help at all and sounded like a robot and told me that she was working on some orders, but no customers in front of them except for me. In my 25 years of customer service, I always learned that you take care of the client in front of you first. Luckily, I found an Office Depot who were nice, friendly and didn't act like the world came to end for printing 90 page. Never again. This Staples makes the other Staples who do a great job look bad. read more

Took our computer to their computer repair department on May 30th. On Friday August 22nd picked it up. Still not repaired. Granted there were parts that needed to be ordered in order to fix it, but never got one phone call form the service department at any time, not one. The last time I called I was told that they were waiting on one more part. I asked how long does it take to receive the part once ordered, they told me 7 days. It has been 10 days since the order was placed..... Not one person bothered to call to find out the status of the part, nor did anyone bother to call me with an update. I can only conclued that my business has no value to them, they do not care about their customers and the sign on the wall stating how great their service is should be taken down in shame. At one of my many visits a manager was standing next to the clerk I was speaking with and had to have heard my concerns, he just walked away..... Staples need to stick with selling paper and pencils, they are not fit for anythnig else. read more

This Staples refused to price match on a product that was cheaper at another store. You lost a customer.

This was by far the worst customer service I have ever received. I came in to print out a store flyer for my business. The short girl with with black hair told me it wouldn't be printed out for another two days unless I use the computer myself. So, I attempted to use the computer since we needed the store flyer asap. Once I got on, I was extremely confused since the flyer was located in something called a "drop box" on my tablet. now, I have no idea how any of this stuff works and I know Nothing about dropbox. so I got up, asked one of the guys if I could be assisted with using the computer, he told me he wasn't familiar etc. And that the same girl i had spoken to previously can help me because she knows how to use it which I understood and then waited patiently for her. As I was waiting, a guy walked up to the counter. The girl knew I had been waiting. She looked at me, but still decided to help out the guy first. Luckily the guy was nice enough to say that I had been waiting. So then when I came up to her and said that I'll just get it printed out and wait the two days since I didn't want to bother her with assisting me since she seemed busy doing other stuff. she immediately said she couldn't do it because it needs to get emailed or have internet, something along those lines. Then I asked "you guys don't handle drop box? Etc." Then she said that they did do drop box. Then I told her that it was dropbox and I sincerely told her that I know Nothing about this stuff and that I was just told by my managers to come in and tell them my dropbox stuff and they would print it out and what not. She ended up saying she still couldn't do it because they don't do log ins etc. Then she explained that only the computers can do it. Then That's when I asked if she could assist me with printing it out since she said that they couldn't print it out themselves. That's when I got a quick response of "you don't know how to use a computer!?" That had to be the rudest thing I have ever heard from any employee. Instead of raising a storm, I explained to her that I didn't know how to use drop box and That's Why. I assumed that she would know how to since she had told me earlier that they handle drop box. Instead she stood there in a dilemma, not because she didn't know what to do but because you could clearly tell she was trying to think of a way not to assist me. Since she stood there with a blank face I told her that she could handle the guy next to me then get back to me. She didn't say anything then got the guy who had previously told me he was unfamiliar with the computers to talk to me. The guy ended up telling me the same exact thing about how he was unfamiliar. So I just told him I'll try to figure it out and come back. So basically, this girl who was an employee clearly kept refusing to assist me and did not want to help me out in anyway. she was rude and extremely unprofessional, especially with leaving me with an employee that was unfamiliar with what I needed help with. To be honest, even if she didn't want to help me out she could have already said, once I figure out the situation with log in etc. Or whatever it was I could come back and be assisted correctly. Also a simple four words of "I'm sorry about that," would have honestly been fine and I probably wouldn't have been bothered so much about the rude comment she made implying how I was dumb. The very next morning my manager came in and did the same thing since I wasn't able to, and there were no problems and did it for him. so in the end, This employee particularly wanted to make the point clear that I, the customer was not worth any time for some decent help. read more

Called to ask if they have a product in Stock and was put on hold for 10 min. They finally picked up to ask for my name and number And said they would call me back. An hour later an no call I decided to purchase my product through someone else. Bad customer service if you're willing to put a shopper on hold read more

I went in and everyone was extremely helpful and seems very cheerful. I needed help with my computer. Not only did they get rid of all the viruses I had. They fixed my dvd drive which hadn't worked for years. I won't take it anywhere else. read more
