Staples, you have some serious dead weight on your payroll. The store was completely empty, yet Nacho somehow seemed annoyed the moment I walked up to his counter. He's being paid to do next to nothing 90% of the time, but the second a customer actually needs help, the attitude comes out. He was literally yanking merchandise out of my hand during my return. As more customers started lining up behind me with returns, he loudly and begrudgingly yelled, "Is anyone actually buying?" You'd think he had a personal stake in the company's profits. Placed an online order for helium balloons. What a mess. The web order didn't come through in the correct place because I used the party city within the staples app rather than using the party city website! Over the phone, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Said would get my order ready asap. When the balloons arrived to my location they were air filled! Why would I order helium balloons and expect air filled! The online ordering isn't clear and staff is t trained to discuss these details. Purchased an Apple 50 dollar gift card on 6/15/26. Opened it right in front of the service counter, and the card was tampered with! Someone had try to reglue the silver code protection strip and when I peeled it, it removed the code from the card! I immediately went to the girl i purchased it from and she refused to refund me or credit my account! I went into this location on Rosecrans and Sports Arena to recycle an electronic. I proceeded to the recycling area and I was reading the placards on what is acceptable for drop off. I looked around to see if there were any associates who could assist me. And then I hear a hefty disgruntled disheveled male employee scream at me from across the room in front of other patrons to get in line, with an attitude. I stood in line for 10 minutes and when I got to the counter he said that I needed a membership to recycle at this location. I looked up online and it says any electronic is acceptable for recycle, even for non members. God awful customer service, and He should just quit if he hates his job that much to take out his frustrations on customers. I was at the Staples location today on Rosecrans the parking lot was extremely busy and all parking was taken there was a spot right in front of the store it wasn't a disability space but it was open. I parked there and put my disability placard up being crippled I entered the store and was confronted that I couldn't park there even though I was about to be served they refused service. I would advise other people to find a different Location to be served and avoid this location. read more

The two older ladies at the register, rude. One of the guys with long hair, rude, the taller broad guy, rude. They make up rules for returning amazon items, skip scanning, bad attitudes, not receiving amazon returns because they do not have someone for it at the moment when the store is empty and two workers doing nothing. AWFUL customer service at this store on multiple occasions. Most recently, the store was totally dead and I wanted to purchase 5 balloons for my daughter's birthday party. No one was in line, and the supervisor on site on Saturday April 18 wouldn't even allow me to purchase balloons because I had to place an order a day in advance for pick up. She couldn't do it in real time because I didn't place the order even though there was literally no lines or anyone in the store. Very poor customer service, what was the point in adding a party city balloon service inside of Staples if staff refuse to fulfill orders unless it's 24 hrs in advance? They're gonna lose money on that, and the overall treatment of customers is taking a new low. It's unfortunate no one has a good work ethic anymore or wants to help people. read more

Horrific Experience and Unacceptable Customer Service I've had some bad experiences at stores before, but my recent visit to Staples was beyond anything I could have imagined. Over three days, I experienced a complete lack of communication, service, and respect from the staff. Day 1: I visited the store to order special paper for invites I needed to print. I was told I could swap in the paper on the print machines after calling ahead to confirm this. However, when I arrived, I was told there was "no way" for me to swap paper myself, and only the staff could do it--but they were "too busy" with other jobs. Day 2: I returned the following night, 20 minutes before closing, hoping to finally get my print job done. (Keep in mind this was 3 pages) First, the printers weren't working. After several attempts to troubleshoot in the workspace area, I finally managed to send my print job through. But, of course, the prints came out too small because emailing over the files were making my files too small and no one would help me other than man I guess you'll have to go back home and resize and come back another time. Now it's 8:55 PM, just five minutes before closing, and I was being asked to leave - just trying to print three simple pages. I asked to speak to a manager to see if they could allow me five more minutes to finish this time-sensitive task. He said you only get 5 minutes. I walk over to the computer and it wouldn't accept payment. When I pointed out the issue, the staff's response was simply, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do." I told them that this was unacceptable, explaining I had been in the store for three days in a row and still couldn't get a simple print job done. Rather than assisting me or showing any empathy, one of the employees rudely told me to "get out of my store." Let me emphasize--I was not yelling, I was not being rude. I simply wanted my three pages printed and was met with so much hostility, I am still shaking. I asked for the employee's name, and he refused, stating he didn't have to tell me his name. As I went to leave, he shut the door and said, "Don't touch my door." When I once again requested his name, he continued to refuse. I'm still shaken by the blatant lack of professionalism, and disrespect. I've never been treated and spoken to so rudely before in my life. Not have I had several employees all stand around not offering any assistance. I'll be contacting Staples' headquarters to report this behavior, as no customer should be treated this way. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a place to print or do anything at all, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. Staples' staff clearly have no interest in helping customers, and the level of disrespect I experienced is unacceptable. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The WORST employees ever. The Amazon return short Mexican woman just stared at my as if I knew what I was supposed to do. I put both of my boxes up on the counter and the woman rudely told me to take a box off the counter because "I need room to work". She was being very dramatic and rude about it. I took the box off, and left my other box. She removed my product from the outside packaging and said "I don't need this". She took the PROJECTOR that I was returning and THREW it in the box behind her. I asked her why she was throwing items if she didn't know if they were breakable and she said "I'm not going to hurt my back for your package". It was literally a 2 pound package. Such a bitch. She then grabbed my other package package from the other counter I had set it on and SLAMMED it against the counter so that the empty box up there flew at me and landed on the ground. At that point I was not dealing with her shit anymore and certainly not picking up that box. When the process was done I walked out and she yelled at her security that I didn't take my box. The big man named NACHO yelled at me and grabbed my box, ran outside, and threw it at my car. I could not believe what just happened. Completely unacceptable behavior. The only reason why this store is getting two stars is because the cashier with the cat eyeglasses was extremely nice when doing my Amazon return. She incorrectly told me that the coupon she gave me was for both the clear and black storage tubs (I asked specifically) so I filled up a shopping cart with clear tubs. The woman who was cashiering at the front, started off with a terrible attitude because she had to scan the tubs through the shopping cart and was very curt throughout the entire interaction. As it turns out the coupon I was given was only for the black tub not the clear ones I had selected. I don't think her reaction was professional or appropriate, it was an employee that steered me wrong, not my own assumptions. She never apologized for the incorrect information I was given. The manager she called out to explain was fine I just wanted to get out of there and not deal with her anymore. The attitude was just not warranted, and it began as soon as I rolled up with my cart. read more

Staples does not support small business. I have been printing at least three times a week at this location until they removed the option to add your own paper. I sell posters and have used this functionality for years. While the staff isn't the issue, they had nothing but a canned response with zero empathy. For me to go print ONE 11x17 poster I now have to pay an extra $1.99 for them to print it behind the counter. That's almost $3.50 for one print and I use MY paper! Additionally the prices are higher when they print for you verses the self serve. I know how to print my own Posters. The machines are smart enough to know the difference between paper thicknesses, I'm not trying to load cardboard or foreign objects in there...Anyways, after years of supporting this location, they don't give a damn about me or my business. PLEASE fix the self serve printers to support customer paper, or lose business. read more
