Normally I go to the ups store on Devonshire and Mason but only recently discovered this location and it's sometimes more convenient as it's on my drive home from work. I ship a lot due to Mercari and this place is easy peasy to just drop off for them to ship. Good parking. Good lot to get out of if you're driving north on Topanga. Friendly employees. I had a return to make (Zappos.com sent me used shoes and tried to pass them off as new!) and it was very fast and easy at this UPS Store location. The super nice guy who helped me out could not have made the return any easier! Plenty of parking, even a few 10 minute spaces right in front of the location. They are crooks. Here is what happened. I went there to send a package to my sister on the East Coast. It never got there. Instead, it was delivered to the wrong address. The picture taken by the delivery person indicated it was not where my sister lives, but we don't know where it went. I went to the UPS Store to get a refund. They said they'd take care of it. I kept asking for a month and they said it takes time. Long story short: I never got my money back. They made no effort to help me and they kept my money. They are crooks and I'll never go there again. I urge others to not go there. read more

Package was scanned to another person, but claimed it was me. Identification doesn't mean a thing here, since They can just give your package to another person without verifying your identity. Tried to get to the bottom of it by calling SEVERAL employees employed by UPS. But no one seems to know what their job description is. Horrible service I do not trust this "secure" location to make sure I receive my package. I do take full responsibility for not picking up my package sooner. Oh, how convenient this location would be for me. If only the employees had any sense of customer service. A smile on their face. A brain. If only. I came by to drop off an Amazon return. I was behind a woman who also had an Amazon return. She had a box closed up with blue painter's tape. She asked him to tape it better for her. No problem, he said, and scanned her QR code. He helped me next. I brought in a box that was open with the item inside. He told me it would be a dollar to tape up the box. I looked again at the QR code. It said, "customer packed." Really? This means I have to retape the box? I brought it in the original shipping box. This is a store that is ENTIRELY DEDICATED to shipping. Just tape the box up for me. Can you? Is it that hard? Wait it gets better. He charged me TAX on the one dollar. I had already reached into my purse and pulled out a $1 bill. Grudgingly. I didn't have any change. I looked at him incredulously. "How would you feel about not charging me tax?" I asked him. He figured out a way to remove the NINE ADDITIONAL CENTS from the charge. I hope they spend that dollar really wisely at this UPS Store because they'll never get another one from me again. Editing to add: how convenient (read: suspicious) that a new five-star review with a sarcastic reference to mine was added just three hours later. By someone who had never reviewed a business before. I went to this UPS store today, 11/10/23 to drop off an Amazon return. The "manager" behind the counter was extremely rude. He scanned by return barcode and stated, "that needs to go to Mandel". I said, "what does that mean?" With an irritated tone he responds, "I don't know contact Amazon". I tried to show him on my phone where it stated "return to any UPS Store". Again, in a rude tone he says to me, "contact Amazon." I had inadvertently started a second return and had him scan the wrong barcode. My mistake was causing the error when he scanned the barcode, but just his tone and abrupt manner will make me never come back to the UPS store. I went to the Amazon Fresh store down the street and the woman behind the counter was patient and sweet and helped me realize the mistake that was made. All my returns will now be completed at this location. read more

HORRIBLE!!! When I arrived there was only ONE associate in the store and he was assisting a customer. Once the customer left, instead of assisting me, I was IGNORED! The associate was doing some faxing. Faxing can be done when there are NO CUSTOMERS to assist! I told the associate that I needed a UPS Plastic Pac, Legal Size-good description of the shipping envelope I needed. What does the associate do?? He presents me with a LETTER SIZE cardboard envelope that was perfect for a few pages, there was no way the envelope could handle my document package. He also told me the store DID NOT HAVE what I requested, further, he told me that I should leave my documents on the counter and he would get to it. I was HORRIFIED! The documents I had in my possession contain sensitive, confidential information! There was absolutely no way I was going to leave them on the counter and leave the store! It was apparent to me that this associate had not been PROPERLY TRAINED on how to handle customer needs! Following this interaction, I picked up my documents, left the store. Unfortunately I had to give 1 star , I'd give negative if I could I had a notification left on my door that a package was left at this ups access location I traced the package and it had been dropped off on 2-2-24 @ 10:59 am and signed by DANIEL, who turns out is the store manager Went there this morning and was told by DANIEL that the package wasn't there !! WTF!! He said come back later, so I did and was then asked for tracking #s, (which I showed him that he signed for it). an id and a lot of unnecessary BS. I have the door tag !!!! He then indicated the apartment # was incorrect and I needed to contact customer service. I thought as a manager HE SHOULD BE CUSTOMER SERVICE and help me !!! He has no business being a manager and is a very poor unprofessional example for this location. Next time I'll work to the sender to get the package , rather than deal with Daniel and this ups store !!!! I came this morning with QR code to return a modem back to Frontier communications. There was one employee ( dark haired chubby Guy) and I was the only customer. I told that I'm following instructions to return here and showed him the QR code on my phone and he quickly barked at me to make the phone face him completely even though he could've easily scanned it . And quickly said that this is not a valid code and you need to call frontier I can't do it whith what you have. I left feeling something was not right. Drove up to the UPS near topanga mall and they were able to take the return but had to do manually do it. If the owner is reading this, this employee is sabotaging your store. Horrible service! I went to return my spectrum equipment I got to the store 25 minutes before closing they were helping another customer and took forever. They turned me away after lying to my face that their system was faulty and they could not load the system to help me return my spectrum equipment. The associate was dismissive and I don't recommend UPS higher people who will not do their job they are being paid to do. Customer service is important. They also did not help the person in-front of me either and they ended up having to leave unserviced. I recommended they try fedex whom I normally deal with due to their superior service. read more

I went in today to mail a package. I walked in the door and said hello. The gentleman Daniel, who I later found out was the manager, didn't even say hello to me. He just looked at me. I told him that I needed a box and to mail what I had in my hand. He still had not said one word to me until he said, "well are you going to give it to me?" gesturing towards what I had in my hand. He was SO incredibly rude. I get it, people have bad days but to treat a PAYING customer like that is inexcusable. I will NEVER patronize this location again. read more

I rang the buzzer to get in and the guy was irritated. He took my package and I asked for a receipt. He said that they dont normally give a receipt, but he would do it this time, in a rude and belligerent manner. I told him that I always get a receipt when I turn in a package and how would I be able to prove that I dropped it off at the facility. He then gave it to me and started to argue that they dont give a receipt when you drop off a package to send to someone which is ridiculous. I will never go back to this facility and be verbally abused because I simply asked for a receipt to verify that i dropped off the package and to protect myself. Horrible service ! read more
